Been taking my F150 here for a couple years now. Great local shop, excellent communication and its great that they are willing to work on vehicles that have been modified, which can be a pain at dealerships. Tim is always quick with answers and solutions on any issues that my truck has experienced. If he doesn't have a solution right away, he takes his time and researches it. Best experience ever getting my car fixed. I've had several trips in my car and I still can't believe how smooth it runs. I didn't go to other shops to get quotes because I wanted my car fixed asap and this place was recommended by a friend, but I'm sure with the amount of work that was done and the car staying at the shop for three days, I must have paid a fraction of the dealer or chain shop price. Also the service and communication is first class. At every other place is quantity over quality. They'll fix your problem (and a lot of times do a terrible job at it) and move to the next customer, but at Griffis they'll take the time your car deserves and inspect it head to toe. Their communication was also very clear. They told me what to prioritize and what can be done little by little. They also go above and beyond to make good impressions and create relationships. They sent me a thank you card through the mail and called me a week after to ask how the car was doing. I cannot recommend Griffis highly enough, especially now with how high car prices are, you need a mechanic you can truly trust.

The only shop I trust in Orlando. Brought them in a truck that I thought may have had a cracked block, upon further inspection they said that it was a cracked heater hose component on the back of the block. There are certainly no shortage of shops that could have taken advantage of the situation and told me that I needed a new motor however Griffis was upfront, honest and did excellent work got my truck back on the road within 3 days. Highly recommended!

I had an unfortunate experience at a local oil change shop, my next call was Griffis. After explaining how this co. replaced my interior ac filter leaving my vehicle sounding like a jet engine, Immediately returned to this shop to b told if it continues to be loud that I probably need a new ac, mind you my vehicle has less than 10k miles, I knew they were trying to scam me. When I called Griffis to explain my situation they set me up for an appt. Right away. The owner personally came out to my vehicle as soon as I arrived, diagnosed the issue, (leaves and debris that needed to be cleaned out) and within 15 min my car ac sounded new again... Best part besides timely, accurate, friendly service...he did not even charge me!!!! I recommend Griffis to anyone looking for a caring auto shop, I'd give 6 stars if I could

Seriously, the nicest people you’ll ever go to for your car. Since moving to Orlando, I’ve had to go to Griffis twice for my very high mileage Camry. Both times, they worked with me and helped me figure out the best course of action. As a young woman, Griffis is seriously the only mechanic shop I’ve been to where I didn’t feel haggled, uninformed, or tried to drain my pockets! They are super trustworthy, respectful, and understanding. As long as I live in Orlando, I will always go to Griffis!

I was recommended to this repair shop by a friend of mine. I was told wonderful things about the staff and the work that they do and was under the impression that I would experience the same results. My Honda Accord was experiencing multiple issues such as: soft brakes, leaking oil(s), continuously needing to be jumpstarted, etc. I dropped it off for a diagnostic and spent $3,000 (in full) to have these problems resolved. The cost of getting my brakes done was approx. $1,300 out of the total cost. So, I agreed for them to work on the car and not even three weeks later I had to bring it back in due to my brakes not working. I still have to pump it multiple times for my car to start braking and even so, they are still very soft. As a result, I was quoted another $784 to get that "fixed" when it was the biggest concern the first time around. Therefore, I denied the work to be done. Although, the service is kind and professional at this shop, I am extremely disappointed in the overall results. All in all, I had wasted my time and money, just to have a substantial concern of mine remain persistent. *followup review* After further consideration, I definitely think this shop deserves a higher rating. I am very grateful to have been able to work again with Griffis Auto Shop. We had set up a second appointment to further diagnose my brake dilemma. With this time around, I am very pleased with the work and advice that they gave me. Tim was able to reach out to a prior shop that conducted my repairs and without him, I would not have known that specific repair had warranty!! Overall, the staff here is very respectable and genuine and I would further recommend to others.

Griffin Automotive always takes such great care of my car! I have a Volvo, which can be temperamental at best, and anytime I bring it in for service, the team is clear and concise on the problem as well as the solutions. Honest, transparent, trustworthy, kind I’ve been bringing my Equinox to Griffis for almost two years now and I just realized I’ve never written a review. Ever since walking into their shop I do not want to go anywhere else. These are truly amazing people. As someone who doesn’t know much about cars I always leave with a deeper understanding of my vehicle and I never feel taken advantage of. All of the services recommended are never pushed onto me they’re simply explained and quoted and left up to me to decide when I can complete the service. Additionally, the customer service is something you’d find in a small town not Orlando. They’re always so pleasant when you walk in and extremely accommodating (I’m okay with leaving my car until they can get to it and they ALWAYS have it ready by the time I need it). It truly is an amazing place and I’m so happy to have found a mechanic near me that I genuinely like taking my vehicle to. They don’t charge insane prices for oil changes or tire patches which I also sincerely appreciate. I will be a forever customer!

I have never really had an opinion on mechanics until I found Griffis Auto. Over the years they have gone the extra mile to ensure that mine, my husband's and our son's cars are running at tip top performance. I purchased a new car last year and when I was having issue with the dealership (that's a completely different review), they stepped in, backed me up and helped me resolve the issue. I will never use another mechanic as long as Griffis is an option for me. Their customer service is excellent, as are their prices and they really care about their customers. We even get a thank you note every time, even if it's just for an oil change. If you're looking for a new mechanic, give Griffis a go. You won't be disappointed!
