There incompetence could have killed us! This happened last year. After a handful of visits, they did not fix the emission problem to the tune of over $1000, sometime later I and my wife brought the car in to have 4 new tires mounted that I had purchased myself, I asked the mechanic,( the owners son I believe) to check the front end as we had a very loud thud and bad vibration when driving down the road, I thought maybe a shock was gone, he assured us he would check it all out.. So When we picked up the car the tires were on it and I asked the mechanic if he found the source for the noise, he stated that there was nothing broken and all was well, he went on to state that he "personally drove the vehicle around and heard nothing" and everything was okay, he assured us. So we paid and left. No sooner we got on the road there was that noise, and it even made me nervous, ( I don't scare to easy) so I was fed up, we brought it to another VERY reputable garage in the area and they found the front drivers side strut had damage, They brought us in to see, the coil spring on the strut had snapped in half and was hanging off the mount like a spear waiting to catch the front tire! My wife was driving everyday on the highway to go to school and back, this could have caused a fatal accident! Then we had the garage check for the emission problem, it was the fuel filler neck vent tube, it had broken off, AND the secondary air injection pump had failed. It NEVER needed a new catalytic convertor or all those additives. Oh yea, they did not balance one of 4 tires either, the other garage did it and found the other 3 were not balanced correctly. When the Father and Grandfather ran and worked the garage it was great, not anymore! They overlooked / dismissed a potentially fatal problem!

This is a great no frills repair shop. You deal with the owner and he tells like like it is. I've been here a few times and there was no appearance of getting ripped off like other places. They are an Interstate Battery dealer and I found them when they stocked a battery for my car when no of the other dealer in the city had it in stock. I'll be back when I need a repair.

I've been going here for 25 years and have had everything from motors replaced to brake jobs. Real pro's that know their stuff. Honest as the day is long, won't add things to your bill, won't sell you something you don't need. They stand behind their work and they have repaired problems for free when mistakes were made. THE BEST SERVICE EVER! I AM SO GLAD I CALLED AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO GET MY CAR SERVICED. THEY'RE BUSY, SO I WASN'T ABLE TO GET IN RIGHT AWAY BUT THAT WAS EXPECTED. I WAS ABLE TO DROP OFF MY CAR BEFORE WORK THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT, AND BY 11 AM THEY CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW WHAT WORK NEEDED TO BE DONE. BY 5 PM MY CAR WAS FIXED AND I WAS ABLE TO PICK UP MY CAR ANYTIME BEFORE 6 PM. HOW DO THEY DO THAT?! I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A WHILE SINCE I NEEDED TWO SENSORS + AN OIL CHANGE. THEY ARE HONEST, AFFORDABLE, AND VERY FRIENDLY. THE BEST THING WAS THAT THEY PRINTED OUT A DETAILED REPORT OUTLINING ALL THE ISSUES THAT WERE FIXED FOR FUTURE REFERENCE IF ANU ISSUES SHOULD OCCUR. I AM SO THANKFUL!
