I paid the bill and as i was walking out to the car, Gus stops me and explains all of the work he did and reviewed the codes that were cleared. Gus has been the GOTO for years! Love the detail of work and even when I’m not there he send pictures to show what’s wrong so I can make decisions on what to do. He also does so much for the community and continues to have other events like grilling events to bring his customers closer and it feels like a family more than just a business.

The best shop around and believe me I research most of them in 50 miles radius over last few years and I am picky. If you have problem that no one can solve Gus is your man for the job. Always kind and personalized service, honest and knowledgable mechanic, that keep his word and promise, always pleasure to go there. Great prices and schedule flexibility. I have seen Ferrari's and Masserati's in Gus shop over the years and this speaks volume already. Certified Mercedes mechanic with over 15 years hand on experience. Simply the best! I purchased a used C-Class from a dealership in Aurora which I anticipated would need some maintenance work. I took the car to Mercedes but the estimates were astronomical. I took the car to Gus to replace the oil pan gasket but when he saw the car, he said let's put the gasket on hold and deal with the more serious issue. Turns out the car had more issues than I anticipated (or was led to believe) - one of which could have caused me to have a serious accident. After one day with Gus, the car is purring like a kitten and at less than half the price the dealership wanted to charge. I have other foreign cars which I normally take to the respective dealerships for maintenance. From now own, I'll call Gus' first. He's honest, upfront and will not try to nickel and dime.

I am a lifelong car lover and needed a new shop. Gus is the real deal. I had my BMW 335xi in for a coolant pump replacement and brake pads. I first met Gus about 15 yrs ago when I took my E430 in for a second opinion. The dealer quoted me a few grand and Gus fixed it right in front of me for like $100. In a world with plenty of shady auto folks who take advantage of uninformed customers, it was refreshing to meet someone like this. Over the years, Gus has become a friend in addition to being our family's go to mechanic for MB, BMW, and Audi (we took him a VW once...once 😁). He's always nice, explains the problem and the solutions available, always fair on price (WAY lower than dealer) and will even tell you when NOT to do a repair even if it would make him money. Recently our Audi A4 had a dead cylinder (probably a cracked piston) and told us what it would cost...but also that we shouldnt do it. The fix wasn't worth what the car was. If you have a German car and live in the West Suburbs of Chicago, Gus is your guy! Tell him Noel sent you!

Gus, Nick, and Bernie are the best. They explained the problem with my 2003 Mercedes E 320 and gave me an estimate. The actual cost came in at $150 less than their estimate. Communication was perfect. Please try them out. I am a "first timer" and tried their service based on the reviews. I definitely trust them and will go back again even though it is a 40 min drive and there are a LOTS of close by repair shops by my home in Wheaton, IL. 5/5 stars. Highest rating. BTW: Open to 5 PM and only Mon-Friday.

I highly recommend using Gus' for any and all German car work. I have been going to Gus since 2014, VW, Audi and BMW models (even before Gus came in and it was Posh Automotive with Chad). During the transition from Posh to Gus I checked out a few of the other independent shops in the area. They were all really good, but I stuck with Gus because this shop is great. This is the exact quote from Gus when I first contacted him about his work: " I have always run my businesses very simply, if a job comes in that I'm not comfortable with, I'll tell you straight up, and not waste your time or money and advice is always free." 12 years later I can attest to this statement. I buy my cars new and keep for them 10+ years. I need a shop I can trust and does high quality work. This is that shop. Quality: All work is done at the highest quality. Everything is explained upfront and with full transparency. OEM parts. Price: Competitive and fair pricing. The local BMW dealer in Naperville is borderline criminal for the prices they charge. People: Everyone I have encountered in the over decade of going here has been so friendly and fantastic. There really is an incredible level of respect and kindness from everyone. I am a customer for life.
