My brother and I had a really bad experience here. I called and spoke to someone who seemed nice enough about bringing my car in for an estimate but when my brother did just that, he was met with nothing but rudeness. The workers here were not incredibly obnoxious to my brother as they dismissed him but they were also condescending to him when providing their explanation (that they couldn’t work on my car since it was a Saturn that was no longer in production). I understand their rationale but I will NEVER be returning or recommending this body shop to any one I care for after the negative service and interaction we had!

Highly recommend!! I was at my daughter's in Mpls and someone attempted to steal my car. I don't live in MN, so I felt very fortunate to find such a trustworthy business to work with. We have used Hagens Body shop 4 plus times over the past years . We have three kids also with many vehicles. Our resent experience was excellent. Awesome experience. They got my car in to their shop much sooner than I originally expected and though I didn’t have a ton of damage, they got it back to me in just about 3 days. Don’t bother coming here if you aren’t going through insurance. They write you off immediately. Handed me an astronomical quote and didn’t want to discuss anything with me. I can’t speak to their work quality though.

Let me tell you about the amazing experience I had at Hagen's Auto Body! Recently, I made a bit of a rookie mistake while installing some mud flaps on my car. Let's just say, my DIY skills weren't quite up to par, and the end result was a series of unsightly scratches on my paint job. Knowing my reputation was on the line (admit it, we all take pride in our cars!), I knew I needed professional help. Having had positive experiences working with Hagen's Auto Body as a vendor, they were the first place that came to mind. From the get-go, the staff at Hagen's was fantastic. I explained the situation (my own fault, completely!), and they were incredibly understanding. Paul, the technician who assisted me, took a close look at the scratches and outlined a plan to get my car looking perfect again. The best part? He assured me they could fix everything in a single day! I was a little nervous about the quick turnaround, but there was no need to be. When I picked up my car later that day, it was flawless. Every trace of my mud flap mishap had vanished! The paint job looked incredible, and my car gleamed like new. Paul's expertise and dedication to quality are truly top-notch. If you're ever in need of auto body work, no matter how big or small the job (or how user-induced the error!), Hagen's Auto Body is the place to go. So grateful to Hagen's. I backed into a post on New Year's Day and damaged a front fender. Hagen's fit me in within 2 weeks, talked me through their estimate clearly, and were very kind. Their work was awesome, they came in under the estimate (though I don't want to set expectations as I know that's not always the case, but they worked extra hard to help me save since I was paying OOP) and they also vacuumed the car!! Accidents are unfortunate, but it's so nice to have people who care when they do happen.

I've been coming to Hagen's for years (at 70, I know things just happen.) It's a rare, family business, run by Paul Hagen at the front desk with a warm, personal, expert touch. Paul is a kind, thoughtful, gentle man, who knows cars inside and out. I was there yesterday because the car molding over my rear tire had come loose, thanks to an uninsured, unlicensed hit and almost run driver in December. Paul said, when would you like to come in, we'll take care of it for you? When I mentioned the next morning, he said how about 9, it'll give you time to have a cup of coffee first? I showed up at 9, he took my keys, and re-appeared an hour later, saying, "it's all done." It was perfect and beautiful. I got out my credit card to pay--he said, no charge, just think of us if anything more serious happens. I've recommended Hagen's, a sweet little place at 28th and Lyndale in Minneapolis, to friends and family for years. Simply great, an old style of honest craftsmanship and care.

I had the best experience with Hagen’s Autobody Shop that I have ever had with an auto repair shop to date. They were extremely professional, generous, and responsive during the time when my car was serviced. They helped me navigate dealing with insurance companies, offered me a loaner car after my car was damaged, and made sure to update me every step of the way. Paul and Barrett stood out as extremely helpful and made the painful experience of dealing with car trouble as painless as possible. Cannot recommend them enough!!!

I could not be happier with Hagen’s work on my Explorer. It was my first time filing an insurance claim and the guys did all the work for me. My car is a tough color to find so they had to get a new door and paint it. They even touched up a scuff left by another vehicle side swiping me. The staff are all lovely, including Miss Porcha — the sweetest little shop dog of all time. Thanks to everyone for turning a big nuisance into a good experience!
