The guys at Hans Wittler's did a great job on my 2013 VW Passat. The car is a gift to my daughter in law. These guys treated it like it was theirs, every little problem was addressed and fixed. Tim and William are outstanding and kept us in the loop with everything going on. I will be going back to them and recommending them to anyone that needs mechanic work. Again thank you so much guys. This place was recommended by a honest mechanic that specializes on Japanese imports and told me that I needed someone who knows how to operate on German imports. I had a problem with my window going down when I opened the door and it would not go back up at closing. They kept my car for a few days waiting on parts, but got it fixed right the first time. The repair comes with 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty parts and labor. I am very happy to have my PORSCHE back.

This place is awesome! I brought my Mercedes in for its basic inspection and the guys were so great! I wasn’t treated like a transaction! When I dropped my car off and when I picked it up, every thing they did was explained in detail, respectfully and with no pressure to buy extra services that I didn’t need right away! Final results: 🙏🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I had some frustrations early on with communication and timing, but I want to say they absolutely made it right. My car is running great, and I’m really thankful for their effort and dedication to getting things done properly. It means a lot when a business stands by their work. Definitely a five-star experience in the end! Update: Took my car to the Wilshire location since the Elizabeth didn’t have sooner availability. My car has been here almost 3 months, and communication has been a real challenge. I was promised updates after my last call with Andreas on 7/28/25, but I never received a follow-up. I’ve left multiple messages with staff and voicemails with no response. Beyond frustrating and discouraging I had a fantastic experience with this shop! I was originally told they might not be able to even look at my car until Friday, but they had it ready the same day! Talk about exceeding expectations. Their elite customer service, clear communication, and quick turnaround made the whole process stress-free. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and professional auto repair! Shout out to William in particular!

This is an updated review. I find working with Hans to be hands down the best experience. Back when my car was only a few years old I had the windshield replaced and the place I used put in the wrong windshield. How do I know? Because my. Rearview mirror NEVER fit on properly again! Fast-forward to recently I brought it up to my service manager and he checked it out, priced for a new windshield and suddenly I have a rear view mirror again! They were super efficient and got the car done before we expected! I cannot praise them enough!

A year ago I had my coolant expansion tanked replaced new, they told me it had a 3 year/33k mile warranty parts and labor. A year later my expansion tanked is leaking where the top is jointed with the bottom half. It’s a noticeable leak from the tank. I take it in, they say it’s not leaking, that they ran it under their pressure tester. They changed the cap for a “just in case” it’s leaking from there and get charged $233 for diagnostics and the cap, even though it’s under warranty. I asked how is it possible it’s not leaking when there’s clear signs of it leaking and wet signs after driving the car. They told me the coolant was dry so it’s from a previous leak. I picked up the car on Thursday 30min before they closed and half way home the coolant light turns on. When I got home I opened the hood and it’s clearly leaking. I bought some coolant dye and poured a couple drops in the tank and took the car first thing Monday morning. I got to the shop popped the hood open and asked the service adviser to come outside so he can see it’s clearly leaking and so he could see the green dye I added. There was leakage spots everywhere around the expansion tank with bright neon green dye so it goes unnoticed. He didn’t know what to say other than it will be replaced with a new one since it’s under warranty. And I asked if I was going to get charged a labor or diagnostic and he said no since it’s under the warranty. Then I asked why did I get charged the $233 for a diagnostic and the cap when it’s a clear leak and the cap is a part of the expansion tank therefore covered under warranty. And he said I should’ve been charged even though he was the same guy that charged me. So instead of refunding me the money he gave it as a credit so now I have to spend it there with them. And on top of this they tell you the car will be ready in a couple of days and it’s not and they don’t communicate to give updates at all. The customer has to call to get an update. I recommend taking your car to Dans Automotive, they are honest and charge way less and get the job done with a quicker turnaround time. These are the pictures of the leak before I added the green dye. Anyone can tell without needing a pressure tester that it’s leaking for them to just tell me it wasn’t.

These guys are awesome! I was having a lot of trouble with a used Mercedes that I had recently bought and with this being my first German car I was terrified. These guys put all my fears to rest and turned what could’ve been the worst experience ever into a cake walk. They went over everything with me, gave me updates, and were really fast with repairs. Absolutely incredible shop. Since my first experience there I have nothing to say but great things. Ran a preliminary scan on my vehicle to start to isolate what my cars issue would be and scheduled an appointment for less than a week out. Was provided solution to my issue same day as dropping off and was able to get the issues sorted out the very next day and have my vehicle returned. Extremely professional and caring service that fixed all the mistakes the VW dealership did to my vehicle. I have nothing to say but great things. William is a phenomenal service person and helped make sure I understood everything going on with my vehicle. I will only be going here from now on.
