I've been taking my cars to Hansen Auto Body for approximately 8 years now. Hansen put my 2006 Ford Escape back together after I hit a deer when the car was only a couple of months old. It looked brand new again when they got done. Brian and his team at this family run business are a pleasure to deal with. I use them now for both mechanical as well as body work and they have always exceeded my expectations. They do the job right for a reasonable price and I have never seen them recommend work that was not necessary. I am quite frankly shocked at the few negative reviews on Google. Their comments do NOT reflect the Brian Hansen I know. Turn your auto work over to Hansen Auto Body and give yourself some piece of mind!

Fortunately not a huge amount of experience with collision/repair shops but this one was great. Brian updated me almost daily on what was going on with our Jeep and when it would most likely be finished. Time to completion in my estimation was fast, 3 days. When I was finally able to pick up the car, Brian was patient with my delays, schedule and the snowstorm, it looked like new. He also cleaned our vehicle inside and out. Brian and his team are professional and courteous. I've had both body work and auto repairs done at this shop. Attention to detail is meticulous, pricing is always fair, and when doing auto repairs, they don't jump to conclusions. It's never, "you need a new X," which is a common thing at many places. I have been a client of Hansen Auto Body and Automotive for years. I take very good care of my vehicles and Brian Hansen is the only person, I believe, in that field, who gets it! So many of these other shops, your car is just another hunk of metal. I care a lot, not only about the work being done but how my vehicle is treated and Brain and his people are tops. Every time I have called him he has pretty much taken over and has even been my voice to the insurance company to get the desired parts. He understands a great job and not just a good job. I would trust him with any work to be done on my vehicles. I have referred people to him and they have thanked me repeatedly for the anti-stress dealings with Brian and Hansen's Auto Body & Automotive.

Brought my wife's car in for body work. Car is white pearl color . The repair is flawless. Paint job is perfect. I looked all over the repaired area and I cannot see where the paint was blended! Fantastic craftsmanship! They take pride in their work. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. UPDATED 4/2024 I had the unfortunate luck of having a tree fall on my truck at work. It had a lot of damage, roof, hood fenders, grill bumper and other stuff. Took it here for repairs seeing i was very happy with what he did to my wifes car, My truck came out AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Perfectly matched the paint. All the little scrapes and dent are gone. The roof was my main concern and it looks great! We had 2 little quirks that showed up (we both over looked them, as there was a lot of damage) after but Brian took care of them no problem. Good guy he is. Takes pride in the work thats being done at his place. The paint and body men there are awesome as well. I may in the future go back and have them do a little custom work I highly recommend this place!!!!!

The best mechanic I’ve ever been to. Long story short was in a small isolated accident. My car needed a two tire replacement, and an alignment. Got it taken care of in Danbury but the mechanic in Danbury returned my car with more damage. My insurance already paid a pretty penny and the guys in Danbury were going to charge me an arm and leg for a vacuum pump replacement. I tell my story to Bryan. Nice guy. He takes a look at it. Says to give him two weeks. Calls me back in a week tells me the price and it’s a fraction of the price. I give him the go ahead. I get my car back, he gives it an oil change and changes my latch on the trunk so it can close properly! Didn’t ask for it but I mentioned it. Like I said real nice guy. Will not go to anyone else. There wasn’t this ritual money haggle dance.. all business and straight forward. Super professional. I wish I went to them first. If you’re looking for a place with integrity while working on your machine. This is the spot. Trust me you won’t regret it. I’d give these guys a 10 star if I could.

Went to Hansen's for a small repair on my cracked driver side mirror casing. I wa worried that it was such a small job that it would be overpriced or not wanted. All to the contrary. It could not have been a smoother experience from the initial estimate, communication, drop off, repair and pick up. The whole staff was extremely professional and genuinely just very nice to to do business with. It was such a great experience I will be bringing my cars there for oil changes. I could not have been any happier with the repair.

Wow, this place is a rare gem these days! Excellent work, Super customer service, Reasonable prices. I've seldom seen all three at the same auto repair shop. Love the fact that I can drop off the car in the early morning and chat with staff while the car is repaired. The waiting room is clean and quiet. Plus no upselling or grief when I need to do a repair in stages. Instead, Brian offers common sense solutions and great alternatives to solve an issue. Brian is pleasure to work with and patient with my less than knowlegeable questions :-) He walks you through the whole repair if you have questions. After another local repair shop failed twice to complete repairs without breaking other systems and costing me more money, I went looking for a better place. This is it! So nice to be able to trust a mechanic to do a great job! Another great experience I had with Hansen Auto Body & Automotive was when I recently needed the exhaust system repaired. Brian doesn't offer the specific work I needed, so he sent me to "Yankee Discount Muffler" nearby. Another great place that did excellent work and more than reasonable. Thank you Brian!
