January was a rough month for the family cars. I had brake issues with my Jeep Wrangler and my wife had a tree fall on her Cherokee. After doing some research, I landed on Pastir, especially considering how close they were. After the service and advice they provided me, I have had only a wonderful experience. Barry was amazing at communicating the issues with our cars without making it overly complicated to understand. I'd definitely recommend them to a friend or family.

Barry is very honest few seconds talking with him he on computer finding best smart cheapest options for you. Very knowledgeable And his staff all very friendly very polite give you coffee for days lol. Everyone I met that works there is happy and customers I encounter today were happy and felt a family vibe here which I enjoyed. My car had blown cylinder another shop said few weeks till it looked at I’m glad I went here same day service. He ordered the parts got them in hour put them on made sure my car was safe even check my tires and put air in them. I’m not one for reviews but nice to feel when you step in somewhere your not attacked for dollars u didn’t spend great people here I can’t not express that enough Ask for Barry you never have a issue ever Update few months past this he continue helping me and my family on our cars and advice really honest guy that tells you truth you can’t find that anymore he teach u anything you want known You want a great friend a great staff and a great place you never feel ripped off come here it feel like home if u like cars thank you for all you shown and give to my family and others

THERMOSTAT REPLACEMENT Barry is the MAN! he's friendly, very pleasant with his customers, he gave me a fair price, compared to the Auto Dealer, yes it was a bit pricier by about $50, but well worth it, the convenience of his business being local, near my area and not having to wait for it more than a 8 hr day of time was good enough for me to go here. Also compared to the other two Auto Shops I was considering, he was cheaper than one, up near my job (out of local area )and about $48 more than the other shop which was close to me, but they use AUTO ZONE Parts, he uses NAPA parts, so that is why I also went with them, and hello, same day service was a plus, I needed my vehicle back asap! no overnight nor extended days later to pick it up. I was so happy to knock it out and go back to my life during the holiday time. Thank you so much Barry, I will return for my vehicle maintenance from now on. Very well recommended by a personal acquaintance of mine from my job.

I was considering buying a vehicle in the area and called Pastir Auto. I spoke to Barry and he was able to help me schedule a safety inspection before I made the trip from NJ. He even took it in later than expected and called me right away to let me know not to make the trip. Barry was very helpful and professional, and wouldn’t even charge me since it didn’t take him much time to realize it wasn’t worth it. I also spoke to the owner Steve at one point who was also very helpful. If you’re looking for a professional, honest experience, I highly recommend Pastir Auto.

Everywhere I called had a 2 week wait for my car to get serviced. Once I spoke to Barry and shared the urgency, he got me in less than 5 days! My car was serviced in less than a day. They fixed my thermostat. Communication is top notch. Every time I called, someone answered. Very professional and customer service driven. My ride had low air in the tires and they pointed out and filled up the tire for free. I found my local mechanic!

Pastir was an angel sent from above. We had purchased a jeep gladiator straight out of the dealership, 2020 model. One month after it started to give us problems. Pastir you was able to fix it. We kept the vehicle for about a year and more problems occurred in the past year always fixed our issue. Very reasonable guy to work with. Unfortunately, we got rid of the Jeep gladiator. But will continue to support pastir.

I never write reviews, but Steve the owner went so far out of his way to accommodate my husband and I on Saturday. We were stuck on the side of the road A good 20 minutes away from Steve .We Were able to pull into a commuter parking lot. Steve the owner left a party to fix our vehicle, so that we could proceed and not have to get towed. We were blown away with his professionalism and the way he treats his clients as though they are family members. I highly recommend. !!

I would give these guys 10 stars if I could!!! I was In a really sticky situation and not doing well financially, I was stranded and needed help. They let me know exactly what I needed to get done and even though I couldn’t afford it and needed to get on the road right away they worked with me on an alternative to get me back home!! The professionalism and kindness from them here is insurmountable and I will DEFINITELY be back as soon as I get paid to get the rest of my issues fixed. I recommend this place 1000000%

If you want someone to take your car in for a repair and not get it back for months, this is the place to go. They assume you have an endless supply of funds to keep a rental car while they work on your car, but do nothing to help you. You call the week ahead of time they say they can look at the car the following Tuesday. When you hear nothing on Wednesday, you call back and they say all they might be able to look at it Thursday or Friday. So why did they tell you to bring it in Tuesday if they can’t look at it Until days later. It must be because they think either you don’t need your car that you’re having repaired or you can just go endless days without wanting and they’ll get to your car when they feel like it. The kicker is when they finally got to look at it days later they said it needs additional diagnosis and can’t look at it again for a number of weeks. This was not the first time they’ve done this to me. I had a transmission replaced by them, and was forced to go to them or some other shops I was unfamiliar with because the warranty company has specific shops they work with. They Pastir Auto literally took about four months to get me my car back. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I could say a lot more, but do yourself a favor and just avoid this place like the plague.

Recently had a front axle replaced here. They did a complete check on my 2015 Forester and found 3 lights out. Oil change also included the cabin filter (filthy) which nobody does. Very professional, love the decor. Will be going back soon to get the wheel bearings done. Total price was less than expected.

I took my daughter’s car in for an oil change. I asked them to check everything over because she was going on a road trip. They replaced fog lights and a back tail light that we didn’t know was out. They also replaced the air filter and they showed me how dirty the old one was! Then ordered a part for the window washer and had it put in by 9 am the next day! Reasonably priced and friendly service too!

In 2024, I took my car in for a brake job. When I returned to the shop, the car had not been fixed because the brakes did not need to be replaced. Many mechanics would have taken advantage of my ignorance—not Pastir Automotive. I've been taking my car to Pastir ever since. My car is now 12 years old. I’m hoping to keep it running for several more. I know that Pastir’s excellent service will help maintain my car for as long as possible. Barry, Gary, and Zenon are reliable in their scheduling, pleasant in their interactions, and eminently trustworthy. They always go the extra mile. I cannot recommend them more highly.
