Came to this shop to get my rotors replace on my honda about a month ago, was doing some work on my car today and I came to found out that they never put back the screws that retain the rotors in place on both side, Only thing that was keeping it in place was the wheel, Never coming back to this shop again, hard to find a trust worthy mechanic now a days.

A good honest mechanic is hard to find, but if you have a Honda, look no further. Dave (the owner) was recommended to me by my brother when I first moved to Riverside. His prices are very competitive and he will always show you the parts he replaced if you ask, and often even if you don't. He never uses cheap parts opting instead for oem parts. I now live in Redlands but if my car needs anything remotely major, I'll make the drive to Riverside. I've tried the local Honda repair places near me, and I'll never do that again. I know it will be done right the first time for a fair price when I take it to Dave.

Dave runs an excellent shop with fair prices. He is a true expert in Honda car repairs who is also honest. I took my car in for the first time a few months ago for a problem I already knew the diagnosis for. I really wanted to see if I could trust Dave. Within literally minutes of test driving my car he knew what the problem was and quoted me half of what other shops in the area were quoting me. I've taken my car to Dave for all repairs and maintenance ever since and he doesn't try to upsell me more than what I need. He is also very professional, answers his own phone, keeps his appointments on time and treats people with respect. I'm obviously a fan. Thank you Dave!

Been coming here 17 years. Affordable, honest, reliable. Dave really knows Honda better than any mechanic. I've taken my car to the dealership before I knew about Honda Car Repair, now known as "Hatfield Automotive" Never again will my car go to the dealership. Now Russ Hatfield has joined Dave and Russ too is fantastic!!!! These guys are the best... period And, they don't take an eternity to fix your car!!! They'll always have a great attitude. DO NOT COME HERE. Avoid this place. This is my 2nd review because my first review was deleted by the business. They're rude and a scam. Like many I trusted the positive reviews on here, now I realize they delete negative reviews. Long story short- I called the shop for availability over the phone before going. DAVE, told us to go now, so we did. We took time off work to come to this mechanic and upon arrival DAVE turned my husband and away because he was too busy. He told us that whatever my car needed was going to be Very Very expensive. How would you know if you didn't even look at the car? We had been here before and he charged $60 for using his code scanner to check the check engine light of my car. AutoZone & O'Reilly does this for free.
