The Verrazano Narrows Bridge did a lot of road works. There were road tars that patched like “speed bumps” on the lower deck. No one would be able to foresee/ anticipate “speed bumps of road tars” on the bridge. I immediately stepped on my brakes as soon as I saw the bumps. My car wheels made noises right after I went through those increments of patches. Being a cautious driver, I immediately drove my car out the bridge in the next exit. I got onto google search engine, Hawk Precision Auto Works Inc showed up. After I read through the reviews of the other drivers, I decided to have my car towed to the shop. Henry took time to listen my concerns, did a road test to locate the noise, thoroughly checked my wheels. He explained to me what he has inspected and done before he handed my car back to me. I appreciate his professionalism and work ethic.

Came to Hawks for the first time to get some routine maintenance and a couple of items upgraded. Paul and team was great, very courteous, honest, keeps you updated, and knowledgeable. That’s all you can really ask when you go to a shop… just someone who is transparent on whether the job can be done or not. You have a lot of older shops out here that gets complacent with service and how they treat their customers, hope Hawks continue to be customer oriented. Looking forward to my next service.

Hawk Precision Auto Mechanic Shop is tucked among a row of mechanic shops in Dongan Hills neighborhood of Staten Island. What stands out from the rest and makes the best? Is their professionalism, HONESTY and multiple languages spoken for your translation convenience. Having brought my car here for basic repairs and multiple tire plugs, due to the casualties of commuting to Newark NJ. I was happy to wait in the lobby or if necessary to walk next door to Tim Hortons. My repairs have been completed in a timely manner; once I left my car and Paul called to explain what was wrong with my vehicle before completing the job. I've been here twice thus far. Once to replace headlight bulbs and more recently to have my front axle brakes completely repaired, in addition to a leak in one of my tires. I believe it was Henry who worked on my car. My car is a dinosaur, but it was shown the same respect and care as any newer make. Henry walked through all prices and alternative repairs to make sure I was okay with the work being done, even discussed the brands used for brake pads, rotors, etc. I'll be a regular with Hawk's Precision here on out. The fair prices and meticulous (and clean) work are greatly appreciated. Wishing this place many years of success.
