I have a 2002 Ford F450 diesel with airbags the bags kept going down losing air, ultimately they had to replace the bags and all the airlines they did a great job, now no problems they also added an extra tank, good company and dependable.

Had ordered a bunch of stuff for my truck, talked with one of the guys and had some discussions on what I wanted to get and what not. Got an estimate on the cost, when I went to order not everything was ordered nor was it the right one I personally wanted. Only good thing so far is that if you have questions about something you can call them and ask them.

They installed a turbo for my 2006 Dodge 2500 5.9 Diesel. It never worked right. It wouldn’t start to spool up till over 2000 rpm. It smoked black exhaust. It was embarrassing. The check engine light would not stay off. It took one year for them to figure out it was the map sensor. They told me it was okay, just run it with the check engine light on. They sold me a tuner saying that would fix the smoke and the check engine light. It did not and cost another couple thousand bucks. They would not answer their phone and stopped returning my calls. The bolts connecting the turbo to the exhaust blew out. One bolt was broken in the manifold and the others were stretched out. It was not sealing between the turbo and the manifold. A qualified mechanic tightened the three remaining bolts. The truck spooled up correctly and stopped the excessive black smoke. Unfortunately, the broken bolt wouldn’t come out. I just spent another $2500 to get my truck working correctly as I had to replace the manifold. Two years of a poorly running truck and more dollars spent because they couldn’t install a turbo or figure out why it was blowing clouds of black smoke. I would not recommend Heavy Hitters.

To start off, these guys are amazing at what they do and are very friendly. After the inevitable hiccup, from a complete overhaul (bad o-ring on injector), they even drove out to pick up my truck and delivered it to my house 3 hours later fixed. The best way to know how good a business is on vehicles is from an evaluation of a complete teardown and re-build as Andy at Heavy Hitters did for me. In a job like this, there are MANY alterations and custom fabrications that need to be done, to make everything fit and work flawlessly. And they DID make it work flawlessly. I was recommended to Andy by other expert race shops that do overhauls on my cars. Throughout the whole process they called me about progress and road blocks, while suggesting other necessary parts. Jarrett and Andy are both very knowledgeable about all parts available for diesel trucks, both performance and cosmetic wise. My truck was a completely stock 2011 Sierra LML longbed that was run down and constantly in reduced engine power mode. Now it is basically brand new and runs flawlessly with a perfect tune. I attached pictures and a complete breakdown of parts. As a side note, at pickup Jarrett wiped down and polished the entire truck with a rag and the most intense expression of concentration and determination you can experience from a polish.
