Went there with a noise in my Mercedes GL 450, make me spent $800 replacing parts and the noise continue, went again and told me that I need to replace the shock absorber and I did it and pay ($375 labor + have to buy another shock) and the sound continue, went again and now he want me to spend $875 to change another part. I don’t recommend this place is an expensive way to waste of money.

Brought my car here for ac problems and a few misc. things. Michael went over car and came up with a list of things needed including new ac compressor etc. Since the shop looked good and he was experienced in my type car I went ahead with his recommendations. After getting car back almost all the parts he fixed had trouble - leaks of all types: radiator , ac, shorted electrical connections, hose clamps loose. I brought it back several times each time he said other problems and more cost. After a few trips I realized it was a losing battle. Brought to another mechanic who found the parts were new but not properly installed. These required a lot of labor but no new parts. If you are looking for good service look elsewhere.

I was recently visiting my brother in Ft. Lauderdale. His Mercedes broke down and we were told to have it towed to Hellenic Car Repair due to their honesty and good repairs. They also had the computer diagnosis required for foreign cars. They were able to repair the drive shaft and their prices were reasonable. He even offered to pick us up to retrieve our car!

This is the first repair shop, ever, that I completely trust. The shop is clean, orderly, and welcoming. I came in with a Merc with a busted transmission and lot of rust. They gave me expert advice, worked out a great deals for me, and kept it real. If you want flashy, go elsewhere. But if you want good, reliable work done on imports - this is the place!

I have an old 280 never ran well. Only when we found Michael did we get it to perform well. Others tried but he found the root cause to solve not 1 but several engine symptoms. That was several years ago. Just brought her home after getting a new battery. Not only did he put the proper battery in. Old one wasn't . He built a battery box box and holder and installed a quick disconnect for when we store her for less than what Sears quoted for a battery. Always a pleasure to visit his shop.

I have a 79 450 sl that developed rough starts when the engine was hot. I have taken it to 3 other repair shops. One benz shop referred me to Hellenic car repair in Pompano beach. I called talked to the owner and made a date to bring the car to his shop. When I arrived I was greeted by the owner Mike. He made a list of what I stated was wrong g with the car. He explained everything in detail what it will take to diagnose and figure out the problem a step by step process. I was very impressed by his knowledge and expertise about the repairs. He also kept his word in regards to parts not used that there would be no charge. How often do you hear that from a mechanic. After 3 weeks the car was finished. Mike again explained what was done to my wife and l. She was impressed also. The car is running fine now. I'm glad I was referred to Hellenic now I will be taking all my cars to this location for service. I feel Mike and his staff were very honest and served with integrity. I have already referred several other benz owners to check out Hellenic. Thank you Mike may God continue to bless you keep up the excellent work.

I cannot express what an amazing experience I had dealing with Mike and his helper (I assume his son)…. They went above and beyond any other car shop that I have dealt with!!! They are kind, understanding and extremely helpful… it was seriously like asking for a family members help!!! They cared about you and the vehicle… I can’t tell them how appreciative I am for all that they did for me… I came to Florida to drive home my car… back to Connecticut… but the day before I was to leave, they cars starter died! I towed the car to them at 8:30 am and they basically stopped what they were doing and repaired the vehicle… I picked it up at 5:30 pm and it was perfect… they are perfect! Again, I can’t say enough about their work ethic and how welcoming and caring they were and are! I am home safely because of them!!! They are the BEST!!!

Mike truly takes his time to figure out the source of the problem and he specializes on working on older Mercedes, Bmw and British classic cars. He really knows his stuff. That speaks volumes coming from a car dealer like me for the last 20 years. I would recommend Mike with any older German or British car. Reasonable prices and handles cars with care.

Hellenic Foreign Car Repair has been a one-stop shop of my choice for maintenance and repair for over a decade. Mike is the auto repair craftsman with an infinite experience in BMWs, either stock or modified. Your car will be in great hands and well taken care of at a fair rate. I’ve never been let down or had any issues with the repair service at Hellenic Foreign Car Repair, something I can’t tell about a local BMW dealership having troubles fixing 2-3-year old car under warranty. Mike easily wins your trust with his knowledge, honesty, and professionalism whether you are a gearhead car fanatic or an everyman with no clue about mechanics. To this day, I’m glad I discovered this reliable repair shop in Pompano Beach.

Mike and Tolley are Mercedes-Benz magicians. I brought my 1997 Mercedes S500 to their shop on a Saturday and was grateful that they took me in! Turns out I needed a brand new shifter along with some engine work, including a new lifter for one of the cylinders... They were able to fit the shifter up into the transmission because Mike has custom machine tools which were necessary. Had I gone to the dealership the cost would have been crazy, even better they did some other work to my car including replacing the fuel filter and an oil change. Now the car runs like a top and purrs like a kitten, Mike also helped fix my third brake light bulb. Great shop with cool classic Benzes! I Highly recommend them.

This is by far the best experience I ever had taking my SL560 Mercedes (1988) for diagnostic and repair after the car has been sitting . Mike was excellent and my car is running better then it has in 25 years. I feel safe now that he did the brakes and other maintenance. Mike got lights working on the car that no other repair shop bothered to try to fix. He is amazing and I am already recommending him to my freinds. If there was more then 5 stars to rate , he would have all plus! I am thrilled with his work and the shop. Don't call anyone else, I have tried so many.
