Mechanic is most intelligent knowledgeable man I have EVER had to fix my car...good prices...Judy the front office/Boss very friendly always smiling very knowledgeable about EVERYTHING makes it an AWESOME place to feel safe not getting "things not needed added" like so many I have been to in the past...for now on my family ONLY goes here.

I took my car here for a oil change on my 87 BMW 325, they changed my oil and did not changed my oil filter. They charged me for a oil and filter changed but i found out 3k miles later the filter was not changed. My old Fram orange filter was still there, they CHEATED me and i will never again go to Herb's for anything!!! Very dishonest place and tried to rush the oil service to get you out.

I should have read reviews before I took car here. I brought it I after car for what they diagnosed as a faulty ignition switch which was 600 to fix. I picked up car and before I got a block away same problem came up. They propose another 600 dollar solution since first one didn't work. They say it is process of elimination. I asked how many 600 dollars guesses would it take to diagnose the problem. I took car to another shop who asked why wasn't computer updated when they put new ignition switch in. Claimed it was a basic function with volvos. So in summary they are no experts and will make costly guesses on what needs to be repaired. The receipt they gave me was illegible because of the poor printer they have. Next shop asked for a copy of receipt so they could see what had been done. When I went in to pick up receipt front desk lady wanted to argue. I said I don't want to debate and I am not trying to sue, so just please give me a copy and I will be on my way. She continued to justify their process of elimination and argue until I walked out. The worst automotive repair experience ever.

I took my Volvos there a couple of times. The prices are moderate, they beat the dealer, but not as cheap as a non specialty shop. The service was on time and communication was good. I'd go again.

This lady is a control freak crazy weirdo. Our car was taken in due to damage on construction work.We needed some information to file a claim and she refused to give it to us. Had to get it from the dealership. She got crazy with US and threatened storage fees when SHE was the one holding up the paperwork for the claim. Real Nut. Stay away from her she wants your insurance company information so she can go back for "residual" costs behind your back. She was trying to tell us how to handle our business. She needs to stay in the repair business and out of everyone else's personal business. If she would do her job she could have gotten a $5,000 repair out of us. Now I wouldn't spend $5 there. one word for her PROZAC!

He poured the wrong transmission fluid into the reservoir that did NOT need fluid. He was supposed to assess whether or not the motor or oil pan was leaking oil or if the transmission was leaking. He nor his assistant could ascertain that it is my motor oil that's leaking. A very simple routine procedure, thus HERB shud lose his license and have his shop closed until he's properly trained. Do better hypocrite

My convertible top was not closing last week so I took my SL600 into herbs foreign cars to have it fixed. When I got a call from the service department, I took the lowest estimate, which was to have the convertible top relay rebuilt. They said the part had to be shipped out so that took about three days. A new battery was replaced too because I was told it had a bad cell or whatever. Now, Its great having my convertible top working again and I cant wait until I get to use it more often. This is the best shop I have been to so far because I saved so much!

The staff was very friendly, The mechanic I wish I would have got his name inspected my car for free and when he went to work on my headlights he went above and beyond! He fixed my radio, car charger input, and he didn't charge me extra for an already budget friendly price. He also let me know of anything else that was of concern on my Volvo 240 dl. The receptionist was always smiling and kind! Just outstanding! Go and pay them a visit! They're here to help!

They are quality professional s that I was lucky enough to get referred to. I had a door problem that my Mercedes deal couldn't wouldn't fix gave me the run around and this team found a way to get an alternative door situation operational for less than the $1,800 Mercedes wanted to charge me. They got it done for around $$450.00. it's not perfect but it's better than before . Great honest professional and nice clean comfortable waiting room.

Brought my car in with exhaust header gasket and coolant hose issues, was told by the dealer that they would need to remove the head and a bunch of other stuff to fix it and quoted 3500 just to take it apart. Herbs did it all in a day and a half for much less than that. Car feels great again. Staff was very friendly and communicative and their tech was very knowledgable and told me about other small issues it had without trying to sell me on them. Highly reccomend to anyone with P3 chassis Volvo issues, as well as I'm sure other chassis.
