The price is about right. But they have too many flukes. Brother took work truck to get fixed at Hernandez. He's had to go back almost daily to get fixed. This is a shop that has been around since the 80s. Their new generation mechanics cant seem to get it right.

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. my car hasnt been working for a month and already have paid $1700 in repairs to only take it back three times.!! & my car is still sitting up there and hasn't been touch in almost 2 weeks. This place needs to be shut down for good because obviously they have NO IDEA what they're doing.

Make sure to confirm if they have the part available prior to driving to that place. Called yesterday, they told me they had the part, drove 57 miles one way plus $10 in tolls , just be told we do not have it and will update the website. SERIOUSLY , gas is expensive....be responsible and manage the business.

They fixed my air conditioner FOR 282 DOLLARS, I supplied the freon!!! In 2009 (car was 2 years old) had oil change at "dealer"-HAD HOLE IN AIR CONDITIONER COMPRESSOR 1 WEEK LATER!!!!! No air FOR 11 YEARS! THANK YOU HERNANDEZ AUTO REPAIR! Paid 82 DOLLARS for the used COMPRESSOR!!!!! WORKS GREAT!

I have a new mechanic, this place rocks. They repaired my truck in one day. Replaced water pump, trans cooler lines, carrier bearing, serpentine belt, radiator hoses, plugs, wires & flushed the coolant system. Price was right, they didn't add a fee on to the price of the parts. Very nice and professional. Even stayed late for me to pick up my truck.

This place is great. I took my car in around 10am one day to have a new A/C compressor put on. I purchased the part myself, and they did the work. My car was ready around 4pm the same day and when I picked it up the A/C was blowing like a champ! The best part is that I saved hundreds of dollars because the services are so reasonably priced.

Seriously if you're poor folk like me you gotta make ends meet, you can buy your own parts so they'll charge you for labor. They've done a great job! Not sure about insured work, however good work, low labor and not much stress. It may be a choice right below Gold to me, highly recommended. Don't quote me but $25 for a diagnosis!

Had some body damage on my brand new car took it in to a well-known collision repair chain got an estimated $3000 took it over to Hernandez they repaired it in 4 days looks brand new and was less then a third the cost Repair was truly a work of art I won't lie as you pull up to the place it looks a little concerning but everybody there was professional One other point it is a cash only facility

I’ve brought 4 of my vehicles to be worked on here, absolutely love their efficiency and pricing. I advise picking up parts from a local part shop and bringing them with you, they will install and work on virtually everything, for HALF the cost. for instance, I drive a Nissan, break pads were 35 from AutoZone and here they charged 60 in labor. 95. Not even 100 dollars for a break job. I’m amazed. I hope this place stays in business for a very long time!

I have my semi truck worked on regularly their anything from pm to major repairs they do it all at a good price and rapidly the owner is a good guy to do business with and he is always around the shop to answer any questions you may have

This place was a horrible, please do not go. Tell you one price about the lug nut and then don’t tell you another lug nut bolt until they did the job and was going to charge crazy price. Lastly, put you and your kids in danger on driving a car without a lug nut stud.

As I have been doing business with Hernandez for some yrs now however took my Impala to them in December for transmission hose my car was running fine before the hose leak and was still driving before towing to shop two weeks later got car drove home and never drink or drove since now have at integrity in McKinney so many issues now want do anything be very cautious of this place the have lost a customer they called me morning of to say my car was ready an hour later called to say we have to test drive make it make common sense.. better hope all car parts are still intact when picking up your vehicle

They don't know what they are doing. I took my car there because it kept dying on the road.They told me that my car wasn't worth fixing because there were metal flakes in my oil and my motor was going out. When I went to pick up my car it was also drained of gas for no reason and the explanation was that it was parked up a hill ????? I took my car to BRAKES PLUS in McKinney off 380 and they had my car up and running the next day. They replaced O2 sensor wiring and even showed me the old parts. My motor is in good shape and my car runs great.

My husband took our old car and they swiftly repaired it and charged us what we consider a very reasonable price. My son also took his car which stopped working all of the sudden and the mechanics quickly find out what was wrong and repair it on the spot. They gave the option of installing new or refurbished parts which helped lower the cost. We also took our Lexus E350 for A/C repair and they swiftly fixed it with a very reasonable price, The car now easily reaches desired cold levels. Ten years ago the Lexus dealer charged us $3k to repair the A/C and Hernandez repair shop charged us a minimal cost compared to the dealer price. So far we are glad we found this repair shop. They are honest people that effectively do their job. The prices are very reasonable and that means a lot for our budget.
