Had to have my transmission replaced in my 5.9 V8 Dodge Durango 4WD They have Fair pricing when Hix auto provided me with upfront estimates and stuck to the price. Hix Auto has Expert mechanics Skilled technicians who can accurately diagnose issues and complete repairs correctly the first time. They had Clear communication with me and the Mechanics explaining the problem and repair process clearly to allow me to understand what was happening and what was needed and why. They Completed repairs within the estimated timeframe. Hix Auto was Friendly and welcoming and helpful attitude from the front desk and mechanics made me feel comfortable leaving my vehicle with them. I would recommend Hix auto to all friends relatives, and people in general. They have always taken care of my vehicle issues and they are now the only place I go to for my vehicle repair.

The 300% inspection was definitely something I wanted due to the age of my Jeep. Took my car in for a rattling noise that I wanted to get checked and fixed. They fixed something but they did not fix that. Almost $500 later and I still have the same rattling noise and now my car hesitates to start. They are very nice but it was not what I expected based on the reviews.

Had a clutch job done here last year, for some reason my 2001 jeep wrangler tj clutch failed. They replaced it at no cost and gave another two warranty. They had earn my business until I can't drive anymore. Highly recommend this shop. Had transmission and steering gear box issues on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ and again Hix's square away my Jeep. I have been going to Hix's since 2019 on issues I couldn't figure out, and they always came through.

Took my 2012 jeep for a caliper replacement and they where not able to take it out because of the rust..I went to Brake shop and got it done like in an hour. They took my 155 just for that crap..Don't recommend this place

Hix Auto Repair promptly serviced our vehicle within a matter of hours. Following a breakdown on I-35, we were stranded in Temple, TX. We were en route from Indianapolis to San Antonio for a short holiday celebration with our family. We conducted a Google search for auto repair shops and called several shops. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful until we contacted Hix, and the owner kindly offered to help us. Our driver's side axle failed and was completely destroyed. We appreciated Hix's expediency and transparent pricing. They efficiently restored our vehicle to working condition within a few hours, enabling us to reach San Antonio on the same day. Everyone there were so helpful and friendly. We extend our sincere gratitude and give Hix Auto Repair our highest recommendation!!
