Got a call from Shockley Honda today. They defended their charge of $69 for changing an air filter. The part cost roughly $15 and it takes 10-15 minutes to change. What would that amount to…a 250%-300% over charge? What does a really complex service cost?

The hospitality here is superb even though you don't get that vibe when you first pull up. It's a little awkward until you get out of the car and begin the service aspect of the visit. Then the finale is grand.

I was told a car wash was to be included in the price of an over-priced service package (10,000 mile maintenance package). This was IN WRITING. When I got home and inspected my car it was obvious they didn't wash the car. When I call them out on not washing my car in an email, they replied they usually do car washes, but the car wash machine was broken. They had 2 chances to tell me this - when they sold me the package and when they gave me the receipt when I picked it up, but conveniently forgot to. This is completely unprofessional and downright dishonest.

They got me in short notice with no appointment, but paid $50 for a plug in a tire, I was expecting an actual patch (from the inside) especially for $50. Probably won't go back. Trust was lost on my first visit.

My Honda Pilot had worn out brake pads and everytime I braked it touched rotor and was making a growling sound. The staff here were courteous and explained everything about the problem and also helped me understand which issues were at urgency to be dealt with and which issues can wait. Over all, I like this place. 👍

I can’t say enough about the service center, they’ve been great since day one. Kudos to both, Joe and Josh from the service advisor team, both of them have taken care of us and they have been extremely helpful with everything. I’ve never owned a Honda before (Acura yes) but they sure have me considering it. The only downfall or complaint I have is the 3% charge for using non-debit cards, in 2024 this is a bit ridiculous and I hope they change that, but otherwise I’d recommend this place to any Honda owner.

My second time here (first time was a really good experience) and do not recommend further. It was a bizarre and disappointing experience. The estimated service was to be 1:40 (normal for oil change and tire rotation). At 3 hours waiting with zero communication or updates via the portal, I texted for a new estimated time. Additionally, the initial representative informed me that they would accept the Costco 15% service and parts coupon. They didn't.
