Ideal went above and beyond for my car. Planet honda said it was totaled (btw I hit a curb at 15mph with my front tire) so we took it to Ideal. Progressive and Ideal agreed it was nowhere near totaled. They replaced/fix everything I needed. There was one hiccup but that's because the wrong size wheel was accidentally ordered. Instead of making me wait another week they put my original one back on because it was just scratched up from the curb. Took a drive over 85mph with no issues. I'll be taking it back to get the new wheel on next week. Hands down this was a great experience, especially because I just moved here 3 months ago. Take it from me, they will save you money and keep your anxiety down 😆 Thanks again to Ideal!!

These guys absolutely knocked it out of the park. Flawless bumper repair. They managed to bring my scuffed-up bumper (that another person side-swiped) back to showroom condition without replacing a single part. You’d never guess it was ever damaged. What I assumed would need a full bumper panel swap took nothing more than a precise buff and repaint—the finish is seamless and the color match is spot-on. They even cleaned up a small paint chip for free. That kind of “above-and-beyond” service is rare and seriously appreciated. Turnaround was quick, the price was fair (it was even cheaper than quoted), and every staff member I spoke with was straight-shooting, friendly, and professional. If you want bodywork that looks brand-new without the upsell or the runaround, this is the shop. Five stars, no hesitation.

Nightmare Service My car left their shop in worse condition than when I dropped it off: 1. They tore a piece off my car, leaving it broken and unaddressed. Discovered the missing piece in my trunk (see images). 2. The battery died the next day due to sloppy re-installation. I had to tighten everything myself to prevent continuous power loss. 3. Back seats were disgracefully dirty, covered in dirt and shoe marks—required professional cleaning. 4. Sticky residue around my door edges, likely from their tape. Took an hour to scrape off with water and a towel. Overall, a dreadful experience. Save yourself the trouble; they might only act after public complaints. Not worth your time—wait another 3 months for quality service.

I had SUCH an incredible experience at Carstar Arvada. From start to finish, they made everything manageable, seamless, and positive for me. My insurance was not communicative with me during all of this, but Carstar worked with me to make sure things went smoothly. Since I was out of state when they needed to bring my car in, they picked my car up from my apartment building and brought it in themselves, which made things SO much easier and completely took the stress off things for me. They were then able to work on my car while I was quarantined at home in California. Furthermore, they communicated with me throughout the ENTIRE repair process, sending me updates almost daily. Lastly, when I picked my car up, it looked brand new! All of the repairs were done beautifully and each piece looks amazing. I could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning (if need be, hopefully not) and also recommending to others! Can't thank you guys enough.

I took my daughters car to this repair shop because my insurance co normally works with them. And nothing really was wrong with the repair or the way it was handled. The work looks good and was done within the time frame they said it would (7-8 days). I picked up the car on 9/15. That's when the problems started. They had to swap out one of the front tires to replace the damaged rim which was part of the estimate. In June 2017 i purchased 4 new tires for the car (see attachment). When i got the car back there were 2 different tires on the front of the car?? They were clearly worn and not the same tread pattern as the new back tires. I showed the manager who brought her mechanic to look at tires and he agreed they were not the same tires as the new back ones. We also looked at the original photos from the quote that showed a new tire on the front. They were clearly different. At that point both the manager and the mechanic started to back peddle and make as many excuses as you can think of. I've attached photos for you to decide. In the pictures you will see the new tires and used ones. I took the car to Tires Plus where i bought the tires and they said they are definitely different and there is no way the tires could have worn that quickly (2300 miles). I sent picture to my Ins company and they agreed the tires are different. They are coming out to look for them selves too look so i will update. I'm not sure what happened here but this auto body company is not trust worthy. Update 10/30/17 The owner is a liar, Esurance did come out and looked at the tires the body shop gave me, and he could clearly see that they were different than the new tires in the body shops original estimate pictures. Esurance did replace my tires because they felt the body shop had pulled something, otherwise they would have told me to take a hike...

I am so incredibly disappointed in the service provided by CARSTAR Arvada. I took my tesla in to repair the lift gate. This stated in December of last year. Around March the car was finally done. After I got the car back I started to hear a rattle from the trunk area. I started calling CARSTAR in May for a solution. In June they finally called me back. I took the car by and someone looked at the car. The man said the hydrolic arms were probably damaged in the accident and needed to be replaced. He said a supplemental claim would be submitted to my insurance company. By July I had still not received a call back. The woman I spoke to ended up yelling at me on the phone when I called to find out the part had never been ordered. I ended up at the store and found out a bad employee was the problem. Now it's October and my insurance company called CARSTAR and they told her the parts weren't part of the accident. I am so frustrated. I think they just don't want to complete my repair. This has been going on for almost a year and my car is still broken and parts still not properly reinstalled from the original repair. I would never recommend CARSTAR Arvada to anyone. If I could give them a zero star review, I would!

Took my car here as AAA recommended them and warranties their work. Tesla certified. It took ages to get an appointment but after having the work done, I totally understand why— their work is impeccable. I feel like my car left the shop better than it was before the accident. How is that possible!? It’s beautiful and they did a phenomenal job. They text you updates on progress, coordinate the rental car, lots of handholding. I couldn’t recommend them more. So so grateful and happy.

I highly advise you to not bring your vehicle here. I was reversed into and hit and was given the option to come here by Progressive. I chose this shop because their most recent reviews were good but I should have paid attention to their older reviews as they were more accurate. They assembled the car back together in about a week. When I got my car, I immediately noticed the small particles underneath the clear coat, mostly on the BRAND NEW bumper. There were some on the hood as well as over spray. I asked them to fix it and they were nice about it and brought it back in and told me to keep the rental, however, the guy who came out for the car had a nasty attitude because my car was coming back in, or so it seemed. A couple days later, my car was completed, I went after work in the evening and still noticed some things under the clear coat on the hood and the overspray had never been taken care of. I told Darren, he was nice about it and said to give them about 20 minutes and they would try to get it out. They brought it out and it was all still there. Darren started to sound frustrated and said that if they did anything more, it would mess up the paint. I said fine and left with the car. The next day, I noticed (since it was sunny out) my whole hood had buff marks all over underneath the clear coat. I reported back to the insurance and Car Star. I called everyday over a span of 3-4 days and kept getting the run around, on the 3rd or 4th day, Sarah answered and said she would get me taken care of. I had to take more time off work and bring it in. Jennifer met me outside with a roll of blue tape and marked all of my concerns, which were not there when I originally brought my 2 month old car in. I got it back a few days later, picked it up after work and I still noticed things under the clear coat but most of my concerns were taken care of. I was willing to let those go since my hood had looked a lot better. I was able to still catch the sun out, parked my car and inspected it, I noticed that a small area of my driver door had weird matte patches and that there was some kind of tape residue under the clear coat next to my windshield. I told Jennifer about it and she basically said that they didn't touch my door. I know that it wasn't there when I brought my car in even the last time I was there. I was fed up. I had been nice this whole time allowing them to fix their mistakes but with my car continuously kept coming out with more errors, I was upset. My car is brand new. They claim that there was dents on my hood from rocks and even claimed to of fixed one. I was appreciative but found it hard to believe. I've NEVER seen any dents on the hood from rocks. I get it, the roads suck in Denver, but obviously, I've been really good at noticing the smallest things. Aside from that, I wrote in a long email to Wayne the manager, the two owners and Jennifer to show the pictures of my areas of concern still. I didn't receive anything back. I called Progressive and told them what was going on. I then called Carstar and asked for Wayne. He hardly took any ownership and had excuses galore. He blamed the microfiber cloth I used to wipe off dust to look for imperfections of their work. He also said my hood had multiple dents from rocks, which I never saw prior to bringing my car in, Jennifer had only mentioned one. I still see no dents, only the small particles under the clear coat that look like dents almost but if you rub your finger over, you can tell it's something under the clear coat as it bumps up. I was very nice throughout the whole process and gave them chance after chance. Wayne did offer me to bring the car back so he can look at it and said I was welcomed to take it to another location. I refused his offer. They shouldn't be paid for making the exterior of my car look awful. I've never been so upset. They charge the insurance to cover for overspray and still get overspray all over my windshield which Jennifer pointed out and on the sides of my hood. The assembly looked fine, but everything else looked bad. Heres a few pix.

Most disappointing experience and customer service I’ve ever had. Went in for a simple door dent repair in an F150 truck. First they did a horrible splotchy paint job and then replaced the truck with a knock off non-powered mirror. Took zero accountability and had to drive in a second time. Third fix they “ordered the wrong parts” and “forgot” to fix the door paint. Currently they have had my truck for 2 weeks, no updates. In total, they have had our main family vehicle for four weeks and has still not fix the issue they were paid in full for. Zero accountability, zero communication, and every time we call we are on hold for at least 15 to 30 minutes. In my life, I have never been so disappointed with a horrible customer service and awful mechanics…..absolute crooks! Will provide no refunds for their lack of oversight and professionalism.

My car took a nasty hit and needed repairs. My insurance company recommended CarStar and told me they were reliable. They were close to my house so I went with them. As soon as my car was dropped off they were quick to give me a call to schedule a walk through and talk to me about it what to expect. Then they called asking when I’d like to drop it off (my car had been there 1wk already) which was weird to me but hey…it was the holiday season and maybe some staff was out. Finally go in a get everything squared away. I opted for text messaging alerts. They would notify almost every week either on Tuesday or Thursday regarding any updates on my car. They gave me an estimate of 4wks and in total it was 6wks. It was easy to get in touch with them and it was nice to get those updates every week. Overall, my experience with them was pretty positive and I think they do an amazing job getting my car fixed.
