I brought my saab 9-5 in for a minor error code reading (p1110). The fix was exceedingly minimal, just securing the vacuum line a little better. I was surprised by the cost for such a small fix and called back after the fact to ask about the price breakdown. I was careful to be very respectful when I did, and to not be accusatory. When Ton's receptionist thought she'd hung up on me, she and Ton started to complain about me and my 'impudence' questioning the charge. Never a great experience listening to people talk about you behind your back. For a little more context, my family has bout two cars from him and spent thousands in repair costs with international imports. This left me with a bad taste in my mouth. YouTube videos are a better route for fixing my car in the future.

Great front line staff. Repairs can take up to 3 or 4 weeks and often when given a list of repairs there are many not completed necessitating many return visits. Great for used parts and used Saabs, not for mechanical customer service or quick repairs.

Ton knows what he is dong with SAAB. He will give you a quick diagnosis. My SAAB sent there and got back the same day. I was there because the exhausted pipe need to be replaced and the heat cover was falling down. all the problem fixed and inspection was done too. Love this place. Will use him again!

They are very knowledgeable about Saabs and are much cheaper than other local auto shops. I drove from Fredericksburg in order to get my neutral safety switch replaced for a third of the cost I had been quoted elsewhere. If you need parts replaced, it will be well worth the gas price to come here.

I used to love this place. Ton would work with you and really crack through state inspections. Then the Saab division of GM closed and he raised all the prices and everything requires massive amounts of time. He replaced my left driver-side window, but broke the hooks on the interior on the door and broke the door handle. I wanted to get it repaired but he wanted $1,500 or so for a replacement. Of course I just bought a door on eBay for $150 and just replaced it. Wanted to replace my air conditioner for $800 - I fixed it for $3 bucks with a fuse.

My car broke down in Charlottesville. I found a very good tow truck and took my chances with International Imports. I must say they were fabulous! Very quick ,quite reasonable,and front line folks were wonderful. The owner came out and spoke to me about the repair and I thanked him several times...he never replied to any "thank you". As excellent as the service is perhaps the owner could give a smile,a nod,or just simply be a bit more congenital. What would it hurt?!?!

Honest, dependable and knowledgeable! I bought a used car from them and was very happy with the whole process. Even after several years, their prices haven’t increased. They are very knowledgeable about repairs and have the network to find parts for you at very affordable prices. They even drove out to repair my car from over 30 miles away when the battery finally died and got the car up and running in no time.
