I took my Yukon to them this week to look at my transmission. They had my car for the day and when I went to pick it up, they said this was a known GM issue and that GM could fix it for free. Talk about integrity and honesty!! They could have easily done the work and charged me and I wouldn't have ever known. Heck they could have even said I need a new transmission and I would have not known. They didn't even charge me to diagnose this issue. Rare to find a business these days that care for the customer. I will forever refer them to people and use them if I ever need it.

They rebuilt my CVT transmission in my Nissan Murano 2 years ago and it still runs better than it did originally. The price was less than the dealership and I trust them more than the dealership. Nissan CVTs are problematic but they know how to breathe new life into them.

It's nice to know that there are still honest "Quality Mechanics" in business that can be trusted. They were prompt from the moment of my appointment, to caring for the needs of my car. I had been to numerous "complete auto" repair shops that were trying to encourage me to pay for repairs that wasn't needed for the issue my vehicle was having. Jason Randall's Transmission listened to my concerns and did what "TRUE Mechanics" do which was within the scope of services their business provides.

They worked on my car back in November, and the transmission was leaking a little bit. I called them they got me in immediately took care of the problem coming back on the road. Five stars hands down the best customer service knowledge of people. I mean I love them so much that if they were hiring I have no idea what I would do but I would go and apply for a job just to work with them. They’re awesome and you’re in good hands if you go there.

I would like to thank this business for helping me in anyway they could and making sure my truck was right as me and my son had broken down 5.5 hours from home but this is what I expect from a family owned business and not a franchise location they cared about my needs. I highly recommend this business they care about their customers. Also I would like to point out that it runs better than the first time it got rebuilt from my local transmission shop! My daughter is attending UT Chatt and her car died. My initial thought was to have it brought the 200 miles home to have a trusted mechanic look at it but decided to research options in Chattanooga. After talking to several shops, it was apparent that Jason Randall's was extremely knowledgeable and transparent. I took a chance and am so glad I did. If I could rate a neg 5 star , I would, they are the worst . My van was in there almost half a dozen times they cannot fix it after they are the ones who rebuilt it. I’ve had to take my transmission to another shop and they said that this is the biggest hack job from a transmission company that they’ve ever seen and that they have no business rebuilding transmissions on new vehicles. This has been the worst experience in my life at the transmission shop, and they only gave a one year warranty on a rebuild, which is BS and they never fixed it within that year. Sure, they say bring it by every time it breaks down tow it to them they still can’t fix it. I would recommend never going there.

No good, no good no good. I had a transmission rebuilt there in 2020 here we are today 2025 getting it rebuilt again the place I took it to in 2025 said he don’t know what they done or who done it transmission blowed out again I didn’t drive the old truck much at all after I got the transmission rebuilt. I paid nearly $3000 to get it done. It’s been down since 2024 of November. I don’t know if they put used parts in it 2020 was a heck of a year anyway Take it somewhere else that’s just my opinion it should’ve lasted longer.

Jason and Melissa are just good people. You won’t find another shop that is more honest and respectful of your time and money than they are. Melissa took care of everything with my warranty company and kept me updated throughout the whole process as they rebuilt my transmission. I thought I was still having problems after it was done, so I took it back and they told me it was actually something else. Jason recommended a mechanic to take it to, who treated me just as well as they had. Now my truck is running better than it ever has. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

I was more than happy with Jason Randall! My transmission on my 2004 Tahoe was leaking. I originally took it to Maxi but Maxi said they couldn't find the leak, even though I could see it clear as day! Maybe they didn't like my skin tone, even though they do transmission work. But whatever. So I took it to Randalls and they fixed it in no time!! I was thrilled with how fast they got me my Tahoe back! Highly recommend this place! I've been looking for a good auto shop, and I think I've found it! I've also got a 1989 Dodge Ram, I hope yall are ready for more work! Thank you again Jason Randall!

Had my 2008 RAV4’s transmission rebuilt here and I’m very happy with the experience. Throughout the whole process Jason and Devon were very communicative about where they were in this process. They were very thorough and informed me of any worn parts they found along the way that needed to be replaced. They also removed the factory transmission cooler and upgraded it to a more effective Tru-Cool cooler. They gave my 228,000 mile Toyota a new life. Being a mechanic I have always been hesitant to bring my vehicle anywhere to have work done but with something this invasive I had no choice. Glad I brought my car here. Next time I need anything transmission related , I’ll be back.
