These guys are great. The technician was easy to reach, easy to schedule with, and then, amazingly, on the scheduled day, took one look at my chimney and said that it did not need to be swept. I have not had my chimney swept in 6 years, so he could have easily just done a quick once over, charged me, and I would have been none the wiser. But not only did he not do that, he did not even charge me for wasting his time. And then, as a cherry on top, since he was there anyway, the technician did a quick inspection of my fireplace and chimney. Since it is rare to find that kind of honesty and service these days, I definitely felt it was worth taking the time to write this positive review. Thanks.

The technician is the best. He was very accommodating when I had to reschedule and arrived right on time. He not only gave us advice on how to better position the rack in our fireplace to eliminate smoke, but made us aware of a vine that had grown down into our chimney and was in serious danger of catching fire. Thanks to the technician, our house will not burn down. Not only did he provide excellent service, but he did it free of charge. Just as many other reviewers, I highly recommend this company. During a big storm, my two chimney caps ended up on the ground. The technician, the owner of the company, quoted me a fair price for installing new cages and came to my house the next day. He was very pleasant, and easy to talk to. Though he does not sing or fly up to the roof with an umbrella, the technician is first class, knowledgeable, and a great value. First, he taped a carpet to my fireplace hearth before the job started. Nice. His son is already a wiz at the business and they work seamlessly together. With over thirty years of managing apartments and working with contractors, its easy to tell this is not a DIY job. The technician can also tell you about the health of your fireplace and flue. Once a year is a good idea if you use your fireplace regularly in the winter. Then after its clean, order the award winning movie.

The technician was fantastic. He was polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He did not try and up sell us on anything we did not need. He took pictures during his inspection, that he shared with us, and actually informed us that our chimney was still in great shape. We had a top screen in place and were just lacking a proper cap. I saw the specialist drive by in his van and knew i needed to have my chimney checked to see if it needed to be swept and i needed chimney caps. I flagged him down and he graciously gave me a free inspection quoted me with no bs and came the very next day on time to install chimney caps on a double flute chimney. He arrived on time and efficiently carried out the task. I was very happy with the work. But unlike others he was very friendly inspirational and an all around joy to work with. I came away feeling good about the deal and thoroughly enjoyed his professionalism and rapport enough to give a review. I'll be forwarding any friends to him. I was watering my grass when i seen the specialist drive by toward the end of the culdesac. He took care of some business. Upon his return i made it a point to stop him. I have been postponing having the chimney addressed for working condition due to the fact that the majority of licensed contractors that i have dealt with for other projects have overcharged for their services with subpar results. Something inside of me said this is the right person. The specialist turned out to be a god send. He told me up front what to expect. He got on top of the roof and he confirmed what needed to be done. He gave me a very reasonable estimate. I decided to move forward with project. He stated he would be back in a few days at 8 00 am. True to his word he returned about 7 35 am. He waited in his truck until 7 55 am. Then he proceeded to the front door. He announced himself and he proceeded to seal the crown and install a chimney cap. He also opened the damper which was stuck. He finished the project in 2 hours as promised. Great job. He even did additional work without charging. I appreciate you immensely. He is professional informative knowledgeable hardworking honest reliable and trustworthy. Thanks again.

It is that time of year when using your fireplace feels fabulous but you want to make sure it is safe and in good condition. I called the technician and was able to get an appointment the same day for an inspection and cleaning. He arrived on time with his assistant. They were very knowledgeable, honest and courteous. After inspecting the fireplace the technician determined that a cleaning was not necessary. He gave me a lot of tips and some instructions on the best way to light and use the fireplace. He did not charge me for the visit, which was a very nice gesture. If I need anything, fireplace or chimney related I will definitely be calling him again.

The cleaner was super helpful starting with our very first conversation. I let him know that the crown of our chimney needed some work which we planned to do ourselves but wanted someone to inspect and clean the chimney so we knew that it was safe to operate. He was never pushy throughout the whole experience and respected that we wanted to make some of the fixes on our own he even gave us some recommendations for how best to do the repairs which we appreciated so much. During the cleaning he was very mindful of not tracking dirt into our home by using booties. He also vacuumed the surrounding area when he finished and cleaned the fireplace hearth with wipes. He was extremely professional knowledgeable and affordable. We will continue to use him for all our fireplace needs in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I had a great experience with this company. I was in pretty urgent need of dryer duct cleaning we found a dead rat in the duct and the smell would not go away and they were the first to respond to my request for a quote as well as the lowest price. They asked right away if 11 to 12 the next day sunday would work. Yep perfect. They showed up at 11 15 and got the work done quickly. I contacted the technician to complete a chimney cleaning and inspection. I was happy that he completed the inspection and cleaning the same day. He is reliable knowledgeable communicative and arrived timely. Too often service providers are flakes and arrive late or not at all. It goes a long way when someone does what they say they're going to do. I really appreciated that he wore shoe covers while inside my home. The cleaning and inspection were thorough. I built a fire in my fireplace over the holidays and smoke filled the house and set the fire alarm off. I thought the flue must be clogged so I called a couple of chimney sweeps and I was able to make the earliest appointment with the technician of this company. The technician arrived right on time. He first made an assessment of the outside of the chimney and the cap, then came inside and listened intently to my experience with the fire and smoke. After getting down on the floor and thoroughly examining the fire box, damper, and flue he told me everything looked good, no need for any service. I then got down on the floor and looked while he held his flashlight and pointed out the different parts, and which way to open and close the damper, like your sock drawer, pull the handle out to open, and push the handle in to close. He gave me some very helpful tips push the wood grate all the way to the back of the fire box, start out with a little wood and add more as the fire grows, keep the wood pushed to the back of the grate, and so on. As he moved to leave, I asked what I owed him and he said, No charge, I do a free inspection. My son built a fire after the technician left, following all the tips he had given me, and we had a beautiful fire without any smoke entering the house. My experience with the technician was great. He was on time, very friendly, efficient, honest, and informative. I would recommend this company to everyone. You cannot miss him, his brightly colored van has a chimney that spouts smoke and plays the song.

I've used the owner a few times on my homes and he's always been fantastic to work with. Communicative honest and very clean and thorough in his work. He's done several chimney repairs for me including installing a new chimney cap as well as sealing several cracks.
