My transmission was slipping and I knew that I needed a rebuild. After calling around to the top transmission places I found Jess Lewis to be the most reasonable price and could get it done in a reasonable time. I took it there and I am glad that I did. The price and time of getting it done was right on point and the van ran great. I never had issues with it again. They also do all our other car repairs. Had family members get brakes and radiator work done there as well. I even have my oil changed there perfect location close to down town. I like dropping it off and walking around down town and by the time I get back my car is ready to go. Jess Lewis is definitely the only place I'll take my car.

Brought in my vehicle with a few noise complaints that I was having with the car. They worked with my warranty and were upfront on the price of repairs and also gave me a few options if I didn't like the price since I had a warranty they could work with. I highly recommend these guys. Honest, fair and they are good at what they do. I've seen a few complaints here on their prices for repairs. You get what you pay for folks!!

If I could I would put them a negative 0... I had got my transmission done like 3 years ago.. they did not fix my problem because here I am just had to get my transmission done again because they didn't do they job right the fist time.. I couldn't drive my car in drive I had to drive it in overdrive... They accused me of putting more transmission fluid in my car after they did it which never touched.. I don't even drive my car often cause I have a second car so for my transmission to fail was not necessary.. I tried to take it back but they said they fixed the problem but never did. I had them look at it and they was gonna charge me for things I didn't need. I went ahead and went to fort Wayne transmission got better price and it was just my transmission and nothing else.. also I can drive my car regular meaning not in overdrive.. if I could I wish they would give me money back cause they did harm to my car not fixing it the right way. I recommend you to spend your money somewhere else if you want it done right!!!!

With all that being said is it normal for a seal to give out in 6 months? That's the question I was trying to ask when I picked the car up.

THET SERVICE IS HORRIBLE THEY ARE CONS..AND I REGRET EVER GETTING MY VEHICLE TOWED THERE. MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP I CALL THE THE NEXT DAY INFORMED THEM I HAVE CARSHIELD INSURANCE I TOLD HIM THAT CARSHIELD WANTED HIM TO DIAGNOSES THE VEHICLE AND HE WAS IMFORMED TO LET THEM KNOW WHATS THE READING AND MY INSURANCE WOULD LET HIM KNO IF IT WAS COVERED COME TO FOUND OUT HE NEVER MADE ONE PHONE CALL TO THEM THE WHOLE TIME BUT TELLING ME THAT CARSHIELD NEEDS ME TO SIGN THE PAPERS SO THE WORK CAN BE DONE THE WHOLE TIME HE WAS LIENG AND SAY HE HAS TO GET INTO THE STEERING WHEEL CAULM TO SEE WHATS WRONG NEXT HERE COMES THE BIG CRAZY BILL TELLING ME CARSHIELD DENIED MY INSURANCE CLAM THAT WAS A LIE IT WAS COVERED BUT HE NEVER SEND THE CLAIM IN AND NOW THAT HE HAS PAFORMED THE WORK NOW THIS 2,9990 BILL IS ON ME NOW THE TRUCK IS SITTING AT HIS SHOP BECAUSE IVE LOST EVERYTHING DO TO THIS PLACE I M WITHOUT A JOB BECAUSE I DONT HAVE MONEY TO PAY UBER EVERYDAY TO GET OUT AND FIND A JOB IM LIVING IN A HOTEL FIGHTING TO KEEP THIS ROOF OVER MY HEAD MY CREDIT SCORE WAS AY A 750 I WAS PAYING ON THE TRUCK ITS NOT PAID OFF THIS PLACE HAS RUINED MY LIFE I CANT BELIEVE HOW PEOPLE CAN BE SO EVIL BUT I GOT GOD AND OTHERS ON MY SIDE I WILL HAVE THE LAST LAUGH YOU DESERVE TO BE NOT IN BISSNESS AT ALL MY FAMILY GOT NOTHING FOR CHRISTMAS BUT HEART ACH AND PAIN YOU DESERVE TO BE EXPOSED FOR NOT DOING YOUR JOB. Jess Lewis is a great transmission shop. I’m very happy with how they handle all the cars I have brought to this shop. They always treat me with respect and care. They take very good care of my cars. They always take the time to explain what is wrong and what is needed to be done. They are very well detailed oriented and what the solution is. They do a great job at providing a price estimate or the actual price when possible. They even offer extended warranty as an option. The last car I brought was a 2007 Dodge Ram Diesel and they rebuilt the transmission and transfer case and it works perfectly and smoothly. I high recommend them without a doubt. Most reliable and best work excellence.

Terrible communication and terrible customer service. Put someone on the phone that can handle a customers call instead of being rude each time I call.
