Took my car in on Tuesday. They told me what was wrong with my car and said to call back on Tuesday for a price to repair it. Called Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only to be told that they would call me back with a price. Still haven’t heard from them. My mother and my aunt that go to them said they are honest and have always had positive experiences with them. Not the case for me.

I went there with my car feeling like it was about to fall apart. I was ready to just junk it. They told me it's ok.. It's just a wheel bearing. Made me feel great and they gained my trust from then on. Now.. I help out at the shop and very proud to be part of an amazing team! Mussa, the owner now, is amazing! Busy guy, but still makes time to have one on ones with every one. I would recommend this shop to my own mother!!

This guy is a crook, my brother had transmission issues on his car and sent it to Jim’s for repair first bill $3kpromised everything was repaired, problem occurred again jim ask for 2k due to it being a different problem so my brother being the kind guy he is coughed it up and guess what…. The problem was never solved. Car was junked. Do not go to this place

I have 2 vehicles with a collective 464 thousand miles. It's because no one but Jim's has worked on them that they are still running strong. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Great service, honest people, knowledgeable and helpful mechanics; best around!

I come from a family of mechanics who unfortunately I live far away from. At the time I was in a tiny apartment and couldn't work on my own vehicle which is hard to do when you know how most companies work. Jim did an awesome job. He was very honest, informative and fair. The lady at the front desk is a sweet heart (who's new not the one complained about). He diagnosed my vehicle right away and then had his guys working on it within an hour. Jim also offered to fix another issue for base cost of parts and only half hour labor which is unheard of. He also haggled with the stupid warranty company I have who's terrible and managed to get them to pay most of the bill. I needed a good, quick mechanic and honest mechanic who wouldn't brake more stuff and Jim's auto went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you!!

Warning: do not go here. You will regret it. Keep in mind as you read the other reviews that the ownership has apparently changed recently and unfortunately, things have taken a major turn for the worse. I live near Jim's and have been going there for years but I will not go there any more, despite how convenient their location is for me. I recently took my car in to get a tire replaced and for an oil change. A few hours after I picked it up and drove to work, they called me and told me that there was oil spilled near my car was. It turns out that they had cracked my oil filter housing and all my oil had spilled out. By the time I discovered this, my car could barely run and I was forced to roll it to the nearest repair show to my work. They diagnosed the problem and replaced the broken part. I took it back to Jim's and asked them to reimburse me for what I had to pay to replace the part. They not only refused to reimburse me, they refused to even refund my money for the oil change. Their supposed reason was that they had called me hours after I had picked up my car and according to them I should have left work immediately and driven it back to them - but real life doesn't work like that. They were incredibly rude and unapologetic. Not only that, but they didn't even do a good job replacing my tire - it now makes this annoying whirring sound as it turns!

I have been a customer of Jim's auto for quite a while and I have been satisfied with the customer service as well as the work itself. I enjoy talking with them and they make me feel very welcomed. I will continue to bring all of my vehicles to them because they treat them as if they are their family's vehicle. Keep up the excellent work.

Blew engine in my car..paid them 3700 put timing Belt and fuel injector on they put it on backwords. They still have my vehicle and my cash....Since July 25 and won't answer my calls claiming to be under new ownership

They got my vehicle checked out fast but not very happy with the overages. Called me with the prices and holy cow. I called my Warranty company to see what wasn't covered.. They charged atleast $40 more then the manufacturer charges for the part and then labor was 45 an hr more then what the warranty covered. Needless to say After paying $100 deductible and 85 in extras, I could of changed my alternator myself.

Took our Honda fit there earlier this morning, and the brakes and one of the front axles were replaced within hours. Price was way below what I am accustomed to expect for auto repairs, and came with no sacrifice to thoroughness. Cost estimates from other places came back nearly twice as much. I've never been to an auto shop so friendly, straightforward, honest, and welcoming. I would recommend Jim's to everyone I know. Really awesome people.

Had them look at my Vw passat. Told me they could fix the vehicle 2500 by replacing fuel injectors. Afterwards was informed they would need 1200 more for a timimg belt. Had to repeatedly call to find out somehow after all this there are rods bent in my engine. So either they are heavily scamming ( machine should say if my engine is burnt out ) or they installed the timing wrong. Either way am still out of a car over 2 months later, with no answers. Car had aprox 130k miles.

Best mechanic shop in Michigan located in Dearborn this place is amazing great work professional, they go over and beyond to ensure whatever you need fixed or repaired to be done and resolve any issues going on with your car. Thought I could trust a local shop to repair the exhaust on a relative's car, but I was incorrect. This is the "repair" job that ran her $350 after a combined 2 trips to this shop. If basic exhaust work is too difficult, maybe you should think twice trust them with more advanced jobs.

New owners ran this place to the ground, they slammed my car door on the hoist arm (right in front of my face) and messed up a simple part install. After I called them out on it (mind you, I literally watched it happen and they knew I saw it) they got defensive and when it came time to pay, they threw a surprise charge over the estimate they gave claiming it was more “labor intensive” than expected (It was a Toyota, literally the easiest car brand to work with). tl;dr: disrespectful, unprofessional, overpriced, and deceptive, do not leave your car here.

The gentlemen at this shop make sure you leave satisfied and happy with the service you receive. They check your car all around and make sure it leaves the shop with everything ready to go. Plus their prices are fair and they service the cars in a reasonable time.
