I bought a 1994 ford ranger from johhny for 2800 he told me that alot of money was put in the truck. Its was a clean truck but 2 weeks later the motor locked up. I havent had it a month. I went backto talk to him. He played dumb and said I didnt sell you the vehicle my name is not on the bill of sale. He was rude told me to leave. Hes integrity as business owner was awful. Didnt even try to work with me on replacing the motor. I tell everyone to stay clear of he's business.

Fixed my car not even 3 days later my car cut off again, doing the same thing it did before he fixed it the first time, charged me again!!! WORSE MECHANIC EVER! Will never recommend anyone here. First time he fixed it I authorized my vechicle to be fixed, the second time I only asked him to tow it, he took it to his shop and so called fixed it and when I ask for my car to be towed to the Chevy dealer he had already took it upon him self to service it without my permission. I was clearly out of $1200 dealing with this owner, very very rude asked me to leave and called the police on me. He takes advantage of people, I'm sure he has been sued on multiple occasions. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER LOCATION TO DO BUSINESS!

The owner was absurdly rude!!!! He had no concept of customer service. His staff was inefficient and the staff member who brought our U-Haul truck around for us didn't even know how to open the back door. The truck was EMPTY OF GAS and didn't have the packing blankets! The attendant said to bring it back empty like we got it, but 2 hrs. later there was a different office worker there. The owner hit us with a $80 fee for the 1/4 tank he claimed was in it. He wouldn't even compare odometer readings to see that we'd only driven the truck a few miles and thus didn't use up any gas. He didn't call the attendant on duty 2 hrs. earlier and said he didn't want to discuss it and threatened to call the cops if we didn't leave immediately!

I should have read the reviews before tsking my car there. He .Kept my car for 4 weeks. When I took my car there I needed a oil leak fixed. I called once a week to check on the status of my car. He didn't check it until the 3rd week. He said i needed a engine. The lady at the front desk is clueless. She was like he said he will check it again and call you in a day or two. They called in two days Your car is ready The total is 687 you needed a starter he put two quarts of oil and some gas. I said did he fix the oil leak. Then Johnny gets the phone you have a small leak but you locked the starter up. Long story short. He didn't fix what was suspose to be fixed. Car was on Empty. And he charged 20 for gas. Very very unhappy with the service. Runnnnnnn To another mechanic before coming here please. I believe in supporting black owned. But he is not fair or professional

Listen‼️‼️‼️‼️ when I say, the ladies in the office are the rudest worst representation of that business after 10 years of being in corporate accounts, never in my life have I experience anything like this. I was referred to Mr. MEANS by my aunt. I had a car accident while I was in Montgomery. Someone hit my car. She assured me Miss MEANS can give me a fair deal. And I get my car running again. when it came time for me to get the billing done I asked for a copy for the insurance company to pay them. The lady told me no even though I gave her the adjuster‘s information, and I just spoke with Mr. MEANS. They were downright rude like I had a lie of them. I was trying to get them paid. The second lady c comes out the office and says I thought you said you were gonna pay the bill as if I didn’t I have the money but I explain to her the previous week the Friday that I needed the billing so they can get paid. I would have my vehicle I didn’t have to be honest and come back, so I paid a bill in full and I recommend that nobody ever uses this business again unless you really deal with Mr. MEANS

I had a thermostat housing replaced in August. Since then my car has constantly been leaking for 5 months. I had the water pump replaced and the radiator and hoses inspected. Actually, it WAS the housing. Johnny's charged me $142.99 plus labor for terrible repair work. Today I've spent over that trying to repair it and it's still not running. This was the third repair at this garage and all sucked. WORST MACHANIC EVER. Never go back.

I took my Silverado into Johnny's garage because I was in the area and his office personnel moved me a good labor rate on replacing 1 front ujoint on my driveshaft. He apparently forgot which part to replace and removed the wrong one first. So instead of me being an ass. I had them both replaced. He knew exactly what he was doing. So I really had no choice but to have them both replaced. I looked at the driveshaft after the repair and found the clips were not fully seated. Other than that, it was a decent experience. Update on this review. After Johnny replaced the joints on my driveshaft, I find out the parts were installed wrong and not seated properly. Which means I was screwed over by this shop and quality of work. I would not recommend Johnny's garage too anyone.

Me and my family were traveling thru the area and when we stopped to get gas our axel broke on our van. I googled a mechanic and this one came up. When I say it was a good God sent perfect experience.. The mechanics happened to be eating lunch nearby, came over within just a few minutes and looked at the issue. Within 30 min they came back and towed our van to their shop and had the van fixed and back to us ready to continue our journey in 2 hours or so. These guys were the friendliest and most helpful an really an answer to prayers with us traveling with kids etc. Thank you guys for being so amazing. God bless.

I had a AC Compressor go out on my van and the belt broke. I called them and explained everything what happened and this was the 2nd Compressor but same brand "O'REILLY'S Import Direct" a $421 Compressor. This Compressor was just to get us down the road for 6 to 12 months until we can get a better one. This Compressor was put on somewhere else due to a breakdown in another city by someone else. I could tell within seconds that they knew what they were doing. I had them to order me a Napa Denso AC Compressor and they flushed out the system and checked the belts and pulleys and a idler pulley locked up and luckily we had a belt and a idler pulley cause no one had them in stock. They told me that we are not going to send you down the road knowing that you are going to fail! They took care of me and went out of there way to help me out in a time of need. ANYTIME im in the area and I need a mechanic there getting the phone call! Ill definitely be letting other people know that they can go there and they will take care of you and get you fixed and back on the road without no worries! Thank You again for everything!

We were pulling a U-Haul trailer and realized it had a bad tire. Johnnys Garage was on our maps as a U-Haul vendor. We tried 3 others and the 1-800 number for U-Haul first with no help. The guys at johnnys got us a spare and got us back on the road when we would have been waiting another 90 minutes for roadside. Extremely friendly people and excellent customer service.
