Johnny’s Jet Ski, ATV, and M/C repair was very professional! He showed up on time at my home and was very knowledgeable about my Yamaha Jet Boat. He did a tune up and showed me different things on my boat that will be very helpful in successfully operating and maintaining my boat. I would recommend his service to everyone. Jonny is the man if you need to have your ski serviced. My Yamaha Waverunner had been sitting for 5 years. Jonny got it purring a day later and for a fair price. What I like best is he does not try to upsell. He gives you options and will advise you on what makes sense to do now and what you may want or need to do later. I heard him talking to another client explaining why the customer would be throwing good money after bad based upon what Jonny found in his early engine examination. Jonny could have kept working and run up a legitimate charge but he did not. I would highly recommend you bring your ski to Jonny for either repairs or routine maintenance. Ken C. Ramona August 2022

Took my jet ski to this shop was not a good experience at all, first told us the charges would be $600 in total then later scammed us in total for $1500 and also wanted us to do extra services when as agreed he was supposed to do all for us for free after charging us this the big total amount for no reason, I went to go ask the jet ski dealership for parts pricing which were all listed so cheap not even close to the price asked I am just not knowing what he really charged us for, oil doesn’t even look newly changed at all. Unhappy and unfair I would never recommend someone to go to this mechanic at all, very disappointing and disrespectful.

Our experience with Jonnys Atv repairs has been terrible! Please consider other places before coming here. My husband and I took our child's ATV to get fixed here @ Jonnys, he said he can get it back to us fixed and running within a week. When we got our ATV back it only ran for about 10 minutes if that before it started doing the same issues we took it in for. Jonny basically took our money and fixed nothing just replaced a carb. After we called him to let him know of the issues he told us he usually doesn't work on these types of ATV's but why didn't he tell us that before taking our money & "working" on it.It would have been nice to know that he didn't have much experience working on these types of ATV's. So now we spent a couple hundred dollars and our ATV is still not running. What kind of shop is this ??? Please consider elsewhere before going here! Do yourself that favor. Thank you for responding Jonny saying my opinions don't matter you SEXIST man! My husband's business is also my business we are married and if you didn't know I paid for that hoping to get it fixed. & so what if the ATV is Chinese we took your word and trusted you when you said you can fix it! My husband had no other option than to take it to another shop because you were not offering any warranty or comeback. & we went with your judgement that it needed a carb we have the paper work

Took my ski in and had a WHOLE BUNCH OF STUFF DONE to it, over $2,100. Picked it up and was advised that there was no warranty. Took it out, ran good for a couple of hours. Next day it was completely dead. Spoke to Johnny, and he gave me a "oh well" type of attitude. He then said for me to take it in again, but didn't even consider helping me out with checking it out. He just told me his hourly rate and I could take it back to him. Nah.... Over $2,100 paid out and can't just look it over..? Wouldn't ever go back.

I brought my jet ski to Johnny’s Jet Skis for service, and this was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the work poorly handled, my jet ski was taken in and came back worse then when I dropped it off. They weren't able to fix my ski, and then stole a bunch of parts from my engine. When I went to pick up my ski I was left with a box of screws on top of the ski for me to put it back together my self. I only discovered that things were stolen when I sold it to an another jet ski mechanic who pointed out to me everything that was taken.

I brought my old hardly running 84 JS 550 stand up ski to them and they turned it into a purring powerful enhine at an incredibly reasonable price! Johnny and his team are the absolute best jet ski mechanics in San Diego! They were professional, friendly, and more knowledgeable than anyone Inhave ever spoken to about these very unique types of Jet Skis. Trust in them and you will be glad you found them!

Unprofessional, Misleading, and Took Advantage of…. My 18-year-old son brought his jet ski to Jonnys Performance JetSki & ATV Collision for a diagnostic and was given a written estimate of $230. Without any updated paperwork, written authorization, or clear explanation, they disassembled the engine and increased the charge to $290—then returned the ski in pieces. He was told it would be reassembled when he picked it up, but after waiting around as instructed, they informed him they wouldn’t be putting it back together after all. He was also asked to sign what was presented as “just a copy” of the invoice and never received a signed version. No one explained that it included added labor or changed terms. The most concerning part: they initially called and said it would be $1,000 to fully repair it, then the very next day called back and said the actual cost would be $3,000—after already tearing the motor apart. That’s a major shift, and it came with no warning and no written update. What’s most upsetting is that they clearly knew they were dealing with a young adult. Instead of being honest and transparent, they shifted costs, changed expectations, and left him with a torn-apart jet ski and a higher bill than originally agreed upon. Do not bring anything here. This business is dishonest and out to take advantage of people—especially those who don’t know the ins and outs of mechanical work. Our experience was manipulative, unprofessional, and completely unfair. They already have a long list of bad reviews, so it’s clearly not a one-time issue. This kind of behavior needs to be reported and taken seriously. Update: After posting this review, the owner responded publicly by insulting my son and making personal, inappropriate comments. Instead of addressing the concerns professionally, they chose to attack and deflect. We won’t engage further online, but we are reporting this through the proper channels. The response speaks for itself.

Johnny and his team are awesome. I brought my 3 gtxs here to have a major tune up done before the season. Not many shops work on the older skis but Johnny assured me that he could get the job done and they would be back on the water again. Everything I asked to be done was done and Johnny made sure to communicate with me when something else looked like it was needing to be replaced. Pictures were sent to me and phone calls were made which to me is very professional and appreciated from myself being a customer. The price matched the quality of work and everything around it. Any of the bad reviews on here should be ignored as my experience here was great and met my standards, especially being the meticulous person I am with my watercraft and their performance. Any future repairs I need I will bring them back to Johnnys shop!

When no one else would touch my JetSki (1990 440) Jonny came to the rescue! When I say that the professionalism and hard work that him and his partner put into my ski was everything I wanted and more, it would still be an understatement; the work is flawless. They worked with me on what I could and couldn’t make happen at the time and they had patience throughout the whole process. I had a bunch of issues with it and everyone was addressed and fixed for me so I can get it back on the water! It sounds amazing and I can’t thank them enough!
