This guy was amazing. He waited 2 hours until I got off work to pick up my car. As long as I'm in San Francisco I will never let anyone but him service my car. In fact I wont even buy a car unless he's with me. Work ethic integrity and a selfless act of compassion went a long way with me. Awesome service.

Quick, friendly service and the car has been running fine. 3 stars because they said they would call before doing any additional work, and they changed my headlights without asking. I already had the parts to do it myself. They also reset my odometer without asking, and it had been tracking the miles on my new transmission :/

Terrific experience with JR Automotive. Brought in my car because I had a check engine light that was from a faulty MAP sensor. Called the shop to get an estimate before bringing the car in, brought the car, the repair was quick, and I was charged the same price as my quote when I called. I am required to service several vehicles for my job. I have used a lot of vendors here in the Bay Area and I haven’t found a lot of honest mechanics. However, JR Auto exceeded my expectations and continues to strive to keep us happy and safe. He doesn’t try to sell me work that doesn’t need to be done and he always takes the time to explain what is going on.Jesus has been extremely helpful every time I bring a vehicle in. (I have been a customer 10+ times) each time I’m treated excellent. I do recommend them to all of my friends. It truly is a relief having found this place.

Always a great experience. Their work is top notch, their pricing is more than fair, and they have an amazing work culture. During my first visit last year, the owner, Jesus, sat me down in his office to talk through my goals for my aging BMW; so proactive and caring! Best customer service too; the shop manager, Claudio, is so friendly and informative; he'll explain everything in detail to not only put you at ease but also teach you some things about your vehicle, including what to expect in potential future service. Again, so proactive. Highly recommended!

I was very happy with the customer service at JR Automotive. Even though the work they did was fairly straightforward, I really enjoyed their customer service and they were easy to work with. I had called 2 or 3 places looking for an estimate for some work and they were the only ones who got back to me. Work was completed on time and they were also fairly inexpensive.

Never going here again! $1200 to replace a pressure sensor that ended up not fixing the problem. The next mechanic I went to said wasn't even a new part. They gave me a used part and charged me full price. My new guy also said it was an easy to reach area and shouldn't have taken more than 10 min to unplug and swap out. Not sure why the labor on that was $200?!? I feel like I got royally scammed here, and want to warn others. I know there are a lot of good reviews on this place, so maybe mine was an anomaly?. Live and learn. Anyway, my new mechanic Sam at ABC Motors is awesome, so I've moved on, fortunately!
