Terrible service.. towed the car to shop they never worked on it. It sat for 3 days on street never went in the bay…the excuse was they had to do more testing.

Stole parts off my car. From my rims to my seat belts, and knobs off of my radio. If you aren't from the area, he uses your parts to fix other peoples cars. Stay away or lose your vehicle. I just happened to find a young man that can fix cars well and he fixed everything this crook man stole at basement prices. May HE do to you what you tried to do to me. I would give him a minus number but it isn't available. 😒

Great shop, I was worried about how they would be since new ownership took over, but they're fair and not looking to take advantage of anyone, I had them do a complete look over of my car while they were doing an oil change, and I expected them to come back with a 2 page, 4000 dollar list of repairs that were needed but they came back out and only told me about 2 things that needed repair, and I can confirm that they truly did need repair because I had looked myself prior to bringing my car into the shop...But all in all it was a pleasant experience

I only went for inspection and they wouldn't pass it siting my right strut was bad. I made an appointment for them to fix it seeing that they gave me a decent price. I bring it back and 20 minutes later called me saying the left strut is now bad

Bob and his crew are the most trustworthy and honest auto mechanics in the area. He doesnt add any extra nonesense when you ask to diagnose or fix a problem and there is no upselling and the prices are very fair. Highly suggest having J&R as your permanent mechanic!

The owner , Bob , is patient , honest and straightforward . Being female , I am always on guard for auto shops to charge me for services that aren't needed. Bob and his crew are very good at the work they do. My daughter also takes her vehicle to them. It's a great feeling leaving their shop knowing that your vehicle has gotten the best service possible. The best and most honest auto shop in Binghamton. Went in for an engine light check and they cleared everything up for me. It turned out to be a minor issue which they fixed at no cost. Even after asking them to charge me they refused and the person who helped me said “I’m just happy to help.” Now I know where to go if I ever need a fix.

Lets just say I trust this guy bob at jr automotive over my own step father (who is a mechanic), bob is the only mechanic I’ve met in my 32 years that hasn’t screwed me, lied, or made my car worse than going in ..so grateful to have a mechanic in the area that I can leave my car with for the day and not worry about a scheme or it breaking down a week later. Thanks bob for your hard honest work i one thousand percent advice going to him if you’re in need of mechanical work. He got my dead car running in a week after sitting in the driveway for years and the prices are very reasonable

AAA guy told me about this place because I told him I need my car fixed today and if he knew anybody. He stated yes JR'S, so I told him call them up. JR'S stated yes, we can do the work in one day, so I jumped on it. Due to them I didn't have to miss a day of work. I was so happy. I told all my co-workers all about JR'S and I showed my co-workers my new pen, which lights up and I thought that was so cool.

Bob has been nothing but honest, trustworthy and reliable any time I’ve had to bring my car in. I was shopping for a new car mechanic after I was told it would cost almost 3,500$ to fix a headlight issue. Bob fixed it for a MORE than reasonable price. He has always just fixed the ISSUE, never has charged more and I have had no issues with anything he’s fixed for me. Today I came back for some belt replacements and he noticed my inspection was up, so he did my inspection for me, changed some license plate lights that I had forgotten needed to be replaced. I am not on top of my car like I should be but I can’t say enough good things about Bob and the service he provides! I know when my car is there, it’s in good hands. Finding someone who is genuine and honest nowadays is difficult. Bob is a great guy and runs a truthful business.
