Took my son’s Audi A4 here to diagnose a P2015 error code. Had to pay $168 diagnostic fee to troubleshoot and get repair options. The shop told me the air intake manifold runner was broken, and the entire air intake manifold would need to be replaced. The job would cost me $1700. I asked how the car was still able to drive smoothly with no misfires and I was told it was likely because the runner was broken but still in an open position. Some quick googling let me know this job should cost between $600-$900 so I took the vehicle elsewhere. I ended up finding another amazing shop called German Tech. They diagnosed the issue and let me know the air intake manifold was NOT broken, and there was just a sensor that had gone bad. The entire repair cost me $350, which included an oil change (oil filter had to be removed to replace the sensor) and there was no diagnostic fee up front. German Tech saved me almost $1500. I still can’t reconcile how I got such incorrect advice from Just German. Why tell me the intake runner is broken when it isn’t? Here’s my advice to potential customers…don’t be afraid to google what are reasonable repair costs for your quoted repair work. If something seems out of whack, don’t be afraid to eat the $168 diagnostic fee and take the car elsewhere for a second opinion. In my case, it saved me nearly $1500, and I’m beyond grateful I discovered the German Tech shop as a result of this experience!

I have trust issues with shops but after my recent experience at Just German, I know I’ll be going back to this shop for more work. I had a black grille and 2 fog light grilles installed and instead of just slapping it on and having my silver bumper guard visible through it, they called me and gave me the option to have it painted. Which they did the same day for a small fee.. and they also notified me about a my leaking water pump. I’ve had this same type of service done before and a lot of shops wouldn’t have given the consideration to call me, they would’ve just put it on and called it a day so I appreciate them for going above and beyond.

Update: After this review the car broke down 3 more times. I luckily was able to pull it into the Mercedes dealership and traded it in but now I’m down $5500 and still had to purchase a new car. Save your money, you think you’re paying more, for better quality work, but that’s not the case. They were better a few years ago, but this time was a giant waste of time and money.

As a college student from the west coast, I was nervous about finding a new shop local to work on my car, as Audis are notorious for being complicated. I dropped off my car, and within three hours they had all the problems identified and priced out to which I could accept the work. Once I approved I had the car back within 24 hours and could not have been more pleased. It’s running better than before the I had the issue I brought it in for! Great team of people who know their stuff, 10/10 would recommend, also cheaper but I’d say better than the dealership!

Ryan and Isabella and the entire staff are true professionals in all aspects of customer service and subject matter specialist in Mercedes and Herman makes. Brought wife's e350 in for basic oil change and inspection. Amazing attention to detail in all things automotive. Later on that day I had a minor issue with Mercedes and I called Ryan to see if it could be handled where I was stranded. After he bounced off some possible issues,and after doing what he suggested,I was able to get the Mercedes running again ..... absolutely with no charge for his knowledge. I find in today's society its real challenging to find a great shop that puts the customers first and before profit. Honest hard working team. Amazing in all ways
