Wonderful place to go for vintage vehicle repairs that nobody else in the city will touch. Steve and Mike are very skilled and reasonable in both timeframe and cost. Had my car running in a matter of days, and it’s been perfect ever since. Highly recommended.

Thank you, Steve! Steve and Mike were great at getting the issues in my 1963 Pontiac fixed (electrical, suspension, 3 different fluid leaks, and more) I am so glad i went to him and that he accepted my car despite many shops out there being fully booked and telling me “Sorry, I’m just too busy right now, try calling back in a few weeks”. Overall, looking forward to working with Steve in the future to keep my 1963 on the road.

I took in my wife's '66 mustang to finish up a power steering installation project that I just couldn't complete. Steve was diligent cataloging the last steps and making sure that 56-year-old girl could maneuver like butter. Boy did he deliver. The work was quick despite some curveballs that the car threw at him--like the fact that despite the claim that she was a 289 engine, he learned it was actually something more like a 302 of 351, which wasn't available until 1969. He made the adjustments without missing a beat and I am elated to report that the old girl is in fact maneuvering like butter. I would definitely recommend the man to anyone that needs any work on classic cars, but beyond that, any work on any cars considering how great his pricing is. Everyone needs "their" mechanic; I'm happy to declare and share that Steve and KC Classics is "our" mechanic.

I took my work van here to get my brakes done. Steven was great very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He even checked the air in my tires and did a courtesy Wash on my van. Now I'm taking my 62 Plymouth to him to do a tune up and distributor replaced. Thanks again Steve.

Took my truck in for an engine bay clean up. Work looked great but there were many details missed and issue with everything being properly bolted back together. See below… - missing wing nut on air cleaner - lower radiator hose clamp was loose causing all of the fluid to leak out - a clamp on a hose going into the the master cylinder was lose - the battery tie down wasn’t reinstalled - black over spray on chrome grill - missing air valve cover and the tire went flat on front drivers side. - Truck was given back covered in dust/dirty and there was a small amount of trash in the bed. I brought up these issues with no response from owner. Another issue came up because the valve covers were reinstalled improperly. He responded then but I decided to go with a different mechanic to fix that problem.

I took my 65 Dodge Dart to KC Classics and will be back for any future work. They were very thorough and went above and beyond what was required on what I needed done. High levels of customer service and more than fair pricing as well. Well worth the drive from West Olathe!
