While I was doing smog check with the business next to this place , I talked with crew and set up an appointment next morning. The wait time was very little and the mechanical who was in charge of my car came to me and recommended to change the filters. I knew I have not done it for a while and had no doubts it’s needed. I was thankful that they looked up for more than I was asking but at the same time not pushing me to do extra. Very pleased with service and charges.

Karoomis was my go to for my oil changes, so I sent my son there when he was looking to buy a car and have it inspected. A very quick inspection was done, but I didn’t think anything of it, because I trusted Karoomis. Turns out there was more wrong with the truck than what was stated. My son did go there to have some of the things fixed, like the brakes. He just had an issue with oil coming out onto one tire. He brought it in to have it checked out since it was believed to be the brakes, and those were still in warranty, and because the family’s mechanic was busy at the time. They said it was brake fluid leaking and told him what he needed. My son was able to get in to see the other mechanic a couple of days later, and he said that Karoomis definitely didn’t even take the wheels off in order to properly inspect the issue, and that if they had, they would have seen what was really wrong. I said that there was no way they didn’t take the tires off and do a proper inspection, so my son called on speakerphone and asked if they had taken the tires off. Sure enough, the man who saw my son said he didn’t and that he could tell just by looking at it. Even though my son has a warranty, he didn’t feel safe bringing his truck back there and it looks like he’s going to have to pay, just to have fixed what should have been inspected and properly done in the first place. I’ve told so many people about Karoomis, but I regret that now. Mistakes with brakes can have huge consequences, and this is my kid we are talking about. Yikes.

The service at Karoomi's was absolutely fantastic! I had taken my car to multiple places before and had the same part replaced more than once and was losing all hope that my check engine light would ever turn off. I googled Karoomi's and saw the good reviews and so I tried it out. Adam helped me out and had a top technician very thoroughly run tests and diagnose my car's problems. They fixed my car and made sure that everything was running smoothly and that my check engine light would turn off and stay off! Definitely check this place out if you want good and honest service!

Karoomi's came highly recomended by a friend of mine and they did not disappoint! Customer service is on point and they are truly an establishment that I can trust. The services I received were efficient and the pricing was incredibly fair. Their thorough attention to detail is what found a couple of ither issues with my car and I cannot thank them enough for their outstanding services. They also offer a shuttle service whichmakes it easy for me to drop my car off before work. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!

This mechanic provided a truly disappointing experience. Despite charging me around $500 for a supposed fix to my oil leak and engine issues, I ended up visiting the shop six times with the same problems persisting. Each time, they promised to rectify the issues, but I was constantly met with additional charges without any resolution. It's clear they took advantage of my lack of automotive knowledge, as a young female, and I ended up spending over $3000 without any real fixes. I'm currently pursuing action with the Better Business Bureau. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs. Consider yourself warned of this place. Later Update: I followed the instructions provided in their response below and emailed them immediately. It has now been a couple of weeks without any reply. It appears they are not interested in resolving their mistake or issuing a refund despite acknowledging the issue.

I took my car there in the morning and they were able to diagnose and fix it in a few hours. They also recommended many things my car needs and offered 1/2 the price for what I normally pay for an oil change. I was not sure where to take my car and took a chance based on reviews, so if your looking for a recommendation- take your car here. My car is running great now and Im very happy with their service and honesty.

You won't find a better shop! Adam and his team are the most honest and skilled auto mechanics I have worked with. They are not afraid of a challenge and will never give up on your car. The auto repair shop I patronized for 3 years damaged my AC last month, and refused to correct the problem, leaving me without AC during the Sept heat wave. I checked out several other repair shops, but didn't feel confident about any of them. Then I came upon Karoomi's. With no appt, the young man behind the counter immediately brought my car in, charged my AC and added the needed freon. He got my AC working great again, and I was so pleased with the quality of work and wonderful customer service, I returned today to have my brakes replaced. I am relieved and grateful to have found an honest, expert auto repair service, and will be a loyal customer of Karoomi's from now on.

Yesterday I popped my tire down the street so I came in for a flat repair very short notice. Other shops told me they didn’t have time or that they would work on my tire because it was too old. They originally told me it would cost $20, and it would take 10 minutes, but it was done within 5 minutes and costed $15 because the wheel was already off the truck! Most shops would try to up-charge you for random things like tire size, or something that wouldn’t even matter. The mechanic was honest, and the work was done properly. They did not try to sell me anything I did not need, it was a very easy transaction. I will definitely recommend them in the future.

If I could give this mechanic zero stars I would. I went in to get my knock sensor fixed - and on my way home from getting that fixed at Karoomi's (not even 2 miles away and not on the freeway), my car caught on fire and was eventually declared totaled. I'm not sure what they did - but I'm pretty sure it directly impacted my car catching on fire. Thank God the kids weren't in the car with me. As soon as I got out of the car (after seeing black smoke billowing out of the hood), the doors locked. I would have been trapped along with any kids in car seats. It could have been so much worse. Not only that, but we pursued legal action and discovered that the shop had a lapse in insurance coverage at the time that my car was serviced. Why did they have a lapse of coverage? Because they didn't meet safety standards. So not only did we have to buy a new car in an awful market for car shopping - but we weren't able to be compensated for the damages and trauma that we experienced as a result of what should have been a simple fix. Do. Not. Bring. Your. Car. Here.
