That's not something that I have heard in a while. The previous mechanic that I called wouldn't consider helping me an hour before closing. Best auto shop in Lexington! Had problem with power steering. Got me in immediately and told me it would take a couple days but they finished by the end of the day while working with me to find the most appropriate cost for needed parts. I had tire trouble that needed attention asap, and boy am I glad I went to this place. I say this because I had such a wonderful experience with the manager. For it being such a late time, he remained having every positive attribute a manager can have towards their customers. He was happy to give me a quick lecture on what each dimension of tire sizes indicates and helped me understand how the tire patching process works in general. Without evening realizing it until later that night I got customer service from them, they actually hooked me up with a free patching job. If anyone at all has tire problems, I HIGHLY encourage you to come to this place! 10/10 experience!

I needed to get my hybrid’s tail light bulb changed. Another repair shop had told me they couldn’t because it was a hybrid, so I was worried no one would be able to do it. I called Ken Towery on Nicholasville Road on a Sunday to ask if they could even do this. The man I spoke to was very helpful and told me to bring it on in. Within a couple hours an issue I was dreading got fixed! It was a very enjoyable experience and I will go there again and recommend others.

I had an appointment at the Boston Road location in Lexington for Saturday 2/28 at 7:30am. I made the appointment a couple days in advance. The appointment was confirmed. I showed up at 7:20 and waited until 7:30 to go to the door. The lights were off and the door was locked. I waited until 7:40 and decided to call another location to get an appointment. Luckily the nicholasville location had availability and they were able to help me. I called the Boston road location at 8 to let them know that I had gone elsewhere and a mechanic answered and apologized saying that they had no manager or office worker present. I’ve had weird interactions with past front desk employees at the Boston road location but the nicholasville location has been great.

Sure it’s a chain but… this Ken Towerys location has always treated me well. Honest mechanics and staff. I’ve never felt taken advantage of or lied to. I have nothing but kind words for them. As a woman, a lot of repair shops can feel predatory. Happy to report, that’s just not the situation here. Shout out to James for all his help and excellent customer service.

I bought a new set of Cooper AT3 tires at the request of the customer service rep who waited on me, worst set of tires ever purchased this was maybe 3 months ago and the tires are already bald, and then I was told by that same customer service rep that any Ken Towery across the United States would service/warranty …. I specifically asked “even Colorado” and that was false. So I would not recommend to listen to any of the people that work here, and I would like the number to the tire manufacturer to communicate my concerns as well. I look forward to hearing back from someone please.

Wow, I had a wonderful experience today at Ken Towerys thanks to Chris and his team. In the middle of a snowy, busy day, I got a flat tire and went into panic mode. I called my Dad and he recommended I take it over to Ken Towerys off Nicholasville Rd. Once we got it there, the team was so helpful and friendly and were able to get my car done today despite being busy themselves. They found a nail in my tire and were able to repair it quickly to get me back on the road in no time. There was a clean and spacious room to sit in while I waited, which wasn’t as long as I feared it would be. I highly recommend bringing your car to this shop! I will be coming back to them for all my tire needs!! Thank you, Chris & Co.!!!!!

What really made my day was finding out the repair was free of charge — especially after the initial stress of dealing with a flat tire. The team was efficient, kind, and professional from start to finish. Huge bonus points for being open on a Sunday! I highly recommend their services and will absolutely be back in the future.
