Super friendly and professional staff! I had an accident that required extensive suspension repairs including a whole steering rack replacement. They did it all for a good price in a very timely and professional manner. Been using them ever since and have had nothing but good experiences. Took my car to a shop in Lexington and they told me my suspension was completely shot and all 4 tires were bad. Decided to get a second opinion and I'm so glad I chose Car Masters! Michelle and Tim were very helpful and it turned out that my suspension was perfectly fine and the car just needed 2 tires and a new serpentine belt. I ended up spending a quarter of what the other shop wanted to charge just for the suspension work. Thank you so much for everything, You've definitely gain a lifelong customer today!

Not being from Lexington, I wasn't sure where to go for car maintenance. I found Carmasters through a reddit post and thought to give them a shot. They were kind, professional, and timely when I called and were able to assess my car within the same week. The day I dropped it off, they were timely about calling and letting me know what the problem was, what the fix would be, and the cost. I'm grateful to have found somewhere I can trust to take my car with friendly and helpful staff.

I have been using Car Masters for years now and just realized I have never left a review. They are hands down the best mechanics I have ever dealt with and the customer service is top notch. They always offer different options and allow me to make informed choices, which, as a non-car person, is invaluable. But also, I absolutely trust their assessments. What prompted this review was that during the recent bad weather CM was hit by a tornado that demolished their shop. One of our cars was also damaged in the fray. Just completely unlucky. We already started preparing for a complete loss. However, behind the scenes, Michelle and team had done their best to clean the car out and make sure it was still taken care of. Long story short, even in a situation beyond their control int the most unluckiest of situations, they still found a way to make us whole. That means the world to me and my kid whose car it was. Thank you! And our thoughts go out to everyone at the shop that they can get back on their feet and doing great work again soon!

Had my 09 Lexus towed to Car Masters. It was leaking fuel under the hood. Tim called me once they seen what was going on and gave me an estimated time to fix the issue. Which i appreciated, no surprises. The next call i got was Tim telling me my car was fixed. Had me back on the road within a day. I believe these people are very professional, honest and affordable. My 2016 ford escape’s electronic power assisted steering broke, a major issue that made it un-drivable - I took it to the dealership and they quoted me a price of over FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS! So I googled other repair shops and Car Masters gave me a quote the fastest and for way way less than the dealership. They picked it up and had it fixed and ready in just a few days even though they were busy with other cars. I highly recommend them and will definitely go to them for any future repairs.

This has been a longtime coming. I moved to Lexington in 2019 and needed to find a team that I could trust to not only take care of my vehicles, but also to give me advise on potential repairs. Michelle, Tim, and the entire team at Car Masters have been incredible to work with. I had to have my RAM 2500 towed last Friday due to a brake leak. I had now idea where to take it. A tow truck driver recommended CarMasters. So i let him take it there. I was worried all weekend about my truck since i did not know these people. To my surprise , Monday morning early they called with an update and by noon they were done already. The best part about it was the fact that they fixed it and were super fair about the price. They could have reamed me and told me it took all day, but did not. We all have our favorite "go to" places for various services, and CarMasters has been my "go to" for car repair, maintenance and any other car related issues, for over a decade. This family business, managed by Michelle, is five star for me, and she and Tim have kept me running well through two different vehicles. I have found them to be trustworthy, not out to make money off me (as a woman alone bringing in her car is apt to be) and they have fixed the issues every time. Their advice on how to take the best care of my cars has been spot on every time. Even when I need a service, they don't offer, I can count on Michelle to send me to the perfect source. I had asked them to fix my clutch and then they had told me I needed a rear differential replacement, then a new gas tank. Each time that they release the truck back to me it continues to have the same issues as it did from before I had brought it in for repairs I have now paid 1800+ for repairs and have not been able to drive the truck for over three weeks without it having issues regarding the clutch / rear differential they are now telling me that they will not come pick up the truck and make things right I am writing this because I don't want anyone else to go through this because I am now in debt and have no way back and forth to work. Maybe this will get their attention and makes things right by me and there name

I have been following locally owned Carmasters on Facebook and Palomar Neighborhod App for two years due to their 5-star reviews and the owner, Michelle, directly reaching out and communicating with customers. However, today was my first visit to Carmasters and they were everything I had hoped they would be. I had them order, mount, balance, and install 4 new Michelin Tires with pressure sensors, front struts, rear shocks, rear brakes and rotors, and an alignment on my 2014 Toyota Highlander. Manager, Tim Morris worked with me to order the correct tires and parts and called me to discuss their discovery of needed rear brake pads and rotors which I knew to be accurate according to my maintenance records. Moreover, the cost for parts and labor was fair, not to mention they presented me with an itemized bill I could plainly understand. Based on my first visit to Carmasters, I will certainly return next time my car needs repairs.

But first, I want to apologize to everyone at Car Masters for taking so long to send this. 🙏🏽 Where do I even begin? It would take a novel to say all that's so awesome about Car Masters. I'll start here: I know I'm not the only one who has felt nervous about having repairs done, right? You won't at Car Masters. I've never felt that way for a moment. They have a level of integrity that is far beyond any business I've worked with. They are honest, kind, respectful, and consistently go out of their way to be helpful on so many levels. If that's not enough, I also want to mention something that matters a lot to me as a woman: It's a bonus that this shop is woman-owned, because I love supporting women-owned businesses, but what is truly amazing to me is that I have always felt completely safe and genuinely respected by the men at Car Masters. It’s clear that Michelle has created a culture of respect and integrity there, which is something I’ve not experienced at ANY other repair shop in my life. From the first moment I stepped into the shop and spoke with Tim, to every visit since then, I have felt at ease and respected by everyone there.
