Outstanding experience - Jeff and staff were professional and very friendly. I called Kimmer Transmission upon recommendation from another auto repair place. I had called around to several other shops looking for help for a servo piston fix I found and had on hand for my Explorer. The other shops outright said they would not do it or I got a non-response. They all wanted to perform the only fix they knew - a complete rebuild. Jeff heard what I was looking to do and what the fix was and said he would give it a shot. At the time this was a new territory as he had not heard of the fix I had in hand. Jeff came through and installed the servo piston fix as requested. He was even impressed enough to order a few more kits. As he said it - if I can save my customers some money while providing a viable fix - I am all for it. My Explorer is fixed and running great thanks to Kimmer Transmission. Thanks Jeff and team!!

I had Kimmer Transmission do some work on the transmission of my LR4. They did a fantastic job and at a very reasonable rate. They were able to complete the repairs that others stated couldn't be done unless the entire transmission was replaced. Needless to say, Kimmer was able to address the problem at a fraction of the cost. To ensure I have a complete piece of mind in the work performed, they also provide a 2 year warranty on all their work! I highly recommend Kimmer Transmission. They are a smaller repair facility but don't let that fool you, they do quality work at a very reasonable cost!

I don’t usually write reviews but Jeff & Kimmer Transmission was fantastic. After multiple other garages couldn’t figure out the problem and the Ford Dealership quoted me an entire transmission rebuild (over $6,000.00 quote), Jeff had my transmission serviced and fixed in one day at a fair price. Jeff at Kimmer made a life customer and as many people that I can tell about Kimmer To-Be customers. The piece that completely blows my mind - There was a price error on a part. Jeff called me and advised that there was an error on the final bill and that he felt horrible and was putting a check in the mail to cover the error. Whats so crazy about that? I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNOWN. his call to me blew me away. That has got to be a record for a businessman with ethics that just wont quit. I was referred to Kimmer Transmission and Gear by another automotive shop in the Parker, CO area. Jeff was very friendly and easy to talk with. My truck was having transmission problems and he was able to get the vehicle in and diagnosed within a day or so and he gave me a quote and told me it would take several days to repair. My Challenger R/T was getting the infamous limp mode. Many factors that can cause this. I originally contacted Christian Brothers Automotive and they asked me a series of questions and referred me to Kimmer Transmission. I gave them a ring and talked with Jeff who got me set up to diagnose the problem. Within a short time learned what the problem was and they got it done a day earlier then expected. Only down 2 business days. Way to go. Experience was A+ all the way! Car runs like a beast again! Highly recommend for your Transmission needs. Excellent and Fair Pricing, Right on Jeff!!..Hats off to Christian Brother Automotive for steering me the right way and not trying to get money by diagnosing it in their shop when they know to take it to the Transmission experts!.....

Highly recommend coming here. Jeff was very quick to tell me the issue with my vehicle and got it done in a semi timely manner. This service also came with high quality work. Only giving it four stars for the insaneee markup on part prices. Paid 1600 for a drive shaft Assembly and 1800 for a refurbished transfer case on a 17 year old truck with 200k miles. Partially on me for not doing my research beforehand, but bill was a tad more than I expected and I just wanted my truck back.

I took my car to Kimmer Transmission for a shifting issue and was surprised at how dismissive Jeff was to us when we dropped it off and tried to explain what was going on. After having my car for 2 weeks, Kimmer called and said the issue was fixed and the cost was $400. No one ever called to get approval for the work that was done or give me a quote. I would not have approved the work because part of it had already been done prior to bringing it to Kimmer and it had not fixed the issue. I picked up my car and it immediately had the same problem I brought it to Kimmer for. Jeff said I could bring it back a week later, which I did, and we were treated with disrespect and hostility. My car sat at Kimmer for another 2 weeks with no progress and no communication from them. I picked it up after 2 weeks after my call requesting an update was not returned, having wasted 4 weeks and $400 in unauthorized work to have absolutely nothing fixed on my car.

Do NOT recommend Kimmer. Was a terrible experience and we wasted thousands of dollars rebuilding our transmission with this shop instead of just installing a new one. Do your research and pick a shop with a longer warranty and better accountability. Unfortunately it was the one question we forgot to ask. We have a 2018 GMC Yukon that sounded and acted terrible. We verified that the transmission went out and decided to take it to Kimmer for a 2nd opinion and estimate. They gave us an estimate price range of what it could be to rebuild the transmission, but wouldn’t know until they opened up the transmission itself. Of course the price came out to be at the very top of the range they gave us and we had no choice but to have them proceed with the rebuild because the car was taken apart in their shop. After the transmission rebuild we picked up the car and it was making a really weird new wheezing noise. We took it into Kimmer SEVERAL times and they said could never recreate the noise, even when we dragged them out into the parking lot while it was making the noise. Kimmer kept saying it was not their problem. After taking our car to other shops, we verified that it was the transmission fuel pump (which Kimmer just flushed out instead of replacing along with the rebuild). The last straw for us was when we told them to drive the car a few miles on the highway to recreate the sound. They drove our car all day long running errands all over the metro area without our approval, left the gas tank on empty, and a tire that was flat (the car had a light and message of the flat tire). They were unapologetic. So now we have to live with this horrible sound and will have to spend thousands to replace this pump, so we will probably have to replace the transmission again. Absolutely furious. We gave them every opportunity to make it right and fix the problem. And they dragged us along until the warranty ran out.
