Back in February, I brought my girlfriend's car in for what I thought would be a quick service and check up. It was not. The problems began with the break pads. They needed to be replaced. Okay, no problem. Then they discovered that the disc rotor was too worn down and needed to be replaced. Again, totally understandable. The problem was the time and communication. Every hour or so, I would check in with the front desk and they would tell me that the car was almost ready and it would only be another hour. This went on for six hours. Six. Hours. My phone died. I walked to a gas station to get a charger. Then my headphones died. I had to get another charger. I went and got dinner. When I came back, the car still wasn't ready. Eventually it was time for the shop to close and it was obvious the car would not be ready until the next morning. If they had comminicated that this would happen, I could've ubered home or something. Instead I wasted an entire day stuck at this place. Eventually, the work was finished and what was supposed to be a quick inspection ended up running us around $2,500. Frustrating, but these things happen. The real problem came several weeks later when my girlfriend started having brake problems AGAIN. We had such a horrible experience at Kwik Kar that she decided to take it to another place. Turns out, there was an issue with the braking system. We had to replace all the parts WE JUST REPLACED!! I don't know if Kwik Kar just missed it the first time, if the parts they gave us were low quality, if their repairs potentially caused damage, or whatever. I guess it doesn't matter because Kwik Kar denied responsibility for the brake issues and told us that any further repairs wouldn't be covered by their warranty. We ended up having to replace the brake pads and rotors AGAIN at this new place. And just to add the cherry on top, it ended up being about half the cost of the service we received at Kwik Kar which means they definitely overcharged us the first time. In summary, Kwik Kar wasted a whole day of my life just and charged me double the price of their competitor TO NOT EVEN FIX THE ISSUE! I've never left a negative review before but this felt justified. This place sucks. Poor communication. Overpriced. And if they do a poor job repairing your vehicle, don't expect them to fix their mistake without charging you for it. I wouldn't give them my business again even if my car broke down in their parking lot.

I almost *never* post reviews, but today is an exception. The team at Kwik Kar ‘swarmed’ me when I needed an inspection, oil change, brake fluid flush and coolant flush in less than 45 mins. They were done and had me out the door earlier than I needed to be able to pick up my daughter. Keep up the amazing service, and the world will beat a path to your door!

My last review was deleted by this business. They upcharge outrageous fixes on cars. 900 for brakes and rotors. 250 for a tune up. Predatory practices. My advice either learn how to do it, go to a mom and pop shop or a mobile mechanic.

I had the absolute worst experience here! Took my car in because it was making a high pitched squeaking noise randomly. I am trying to tell them this and they don’t listen at all. They do a full check on my car and said I need new brakes (which is not what the squeaking was) and they said they would be $1500!!!!!!! I can get them done for half that price somewhere else. When they called to let me know I said I needed at least a minute to think about it and they said I needed to make a decision right at that moment. The men who work this shop are completely incompetent and are horrible. This place is so horribly run. Completely predatory and I would recommend staying as far from there as possible.

Experience not bad for a Sat. It was 3 days later when I had to drive 40 mins back to them because my oil and filter light was back on. One thing I wish was different was them making me get back in line when I called 2hours ahead of time and the company was the reason I had to go back. This caused an inconvenience in my day, had to get back in line, & my settings were not put back how they were when arrived either. I had to figure it out on my own.

Here’s the deal: I put $6K into my daughter’s Jeep Wrangler just a month and a half ago, so we’re taking great care of it. Today she stopped by your shop for a simple oil change, and the experience left us pretty disappointed. She was told her belts were “about to break any second,” which simply isn’t accurate. They were inspected recently and are in good shape. That kind of upsell—especially on a young customer—is exactly the sort of thing that erodes trust. On top of that, no one there was able to drive a manual transmission, so she had to bring it into the bay herself. Not ideal. At this point, she won’t be returning. I’d encourage management to take a hard look at the approach being used with customers—integrity should never be an afterthought.

Revised!!!!! Owner reach out, sincerely apologize on the incident and offered me options to settle, he even reprimanded the staff responsible on this. We agreed on a refund. Anyone can make mistake, but what's make a business better, if they can acknowledge issues and resolve fast for the better of both party. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Had a horrible experience.. went to change my battery and I was told by the in-charge that they need to put an AGM battery w/c is more better and costly and I agreed. Later I found out that the battery installed was not an AGM but flooded battery(lower cost) they charge me $502.00 for AGM and installation.. 👎👎

My experience here at NTB was perfect as I went out of my comfort zone of my regular car shop and tried somewhere new I was unsure what to expect. They welcomed me and informed me on my issues while offering to check for any other possible issues while I was there. It helped me have confidence in my car and the business because they knew what they were talking about. As far as service the wait was a bit however they were short staffed and were still sending cars in and out fast as possible! I got my car out and fixed within the hour. Staff was nice, place was comfortable, service was done well on my car and I didn’t pay an unfair price. I frequent a lot of DFW so they really helped me get through the rest of my day. 5/5.

Edit: Adding a star because the front office contacted me after I posted the below review. Sam (the owner of the location) was very helpful in remedying my issues and ensuring I promptly received reimbursement. My original review is included below. SCAM IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE! 1. Check your itemized receipts. They refused to provide an itemized receipt before payment, and when I added up the individual charges afterward, the total was higher than the sum of the listed items. Only after I pointed this out did they return the difference, in cash. 2. Do not trust what they tell you. I was given misleading information by multiple mechanics. I came in for an oil change and inspection, yet one mechanic claimed my coolant was “rusty” and I needed a flush. When I questioned this, stating I believe I had a flush recently, another mechanic insisted they had my service history on Carfax and saw no previous coolant flush. After returning home, I checked my records and found documentation showing a coolant flush less than 1,000 miles and seven months ago. I then checked my Carfax records and found that many shops don’t report maintenance and service. 3. Stay on top of reimbursements if they scam you. They will delay, or try to avoid altogether, reimbursements. Although they eventually agreed to reimburse me for the incorrect coolant-flush diagnosis, it has now been three weeks and even after a follow-up visit reminding them of the reimbursement, I still have not received payment. Do not trust this shop.

TLDR version they up saled me, charged me 3 times the amount we originally discussed, took over an hour longer than they said they would, did everything except what I asked them to do. They are the type of people that say everything in your car needs to be changed even if it just rolled off the lot. Please do not go here without someone who knows a lot about cars. They will do there best to swindle you. I will never go to another kwik kar again. And for anyone reading this I strongly advise against coming to this location.

Came in on a Saturday morning after a long road trip knowing that we needed an oil change and had a check engine light on. The staff was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Came in for an oil change left with a vehicle over heating with no coolant. Came back to ask questions on why my vehicle was drained of coolant and because I declined a flush in my opinion it was the cause of the over heating. And also the brand values was not honored along with paying for the oil change my oil filter was not changed. I was charged an additional fee for a diagnostic for a message to be relayed that I need a water pump and thermostat in the price range of 1150 and all of a sudden I had a coolant leak neither was true. My service experience was very unsatisfactory. The trust level for good work is none existent.
