Took our 2007 Toyota 4 Runner in for a transmission issue on Monday. Mechanic there called me within a couple of hours. The issue was only computer related thankfully. He cleared the errors and charged us very little. He didn't even want to accept payment until I was satisfied with the results! Of course he'd fixed the issue. I'm convinced they have all the best technology for transmission diagnosing, and will always recommend Laney's!

Was referred to Laney’s for possible transmission fluid leak/check engine light with a transmission code. After diagnostics was told that the transmission was functioning fine and was most likely an electrical issue; despite taking the time to help diagnose our vehicle’s issue was charged nothing for their time. Needed to get transmission fluid/filter changed before a long trip towing a camper. Scheduled appointment weeks ahead of time. Told guy on the phone when I made the appointment year/make/model/etc. Drove all the way up there first thing in the morning on the day of the appointment (along with someone to give me a ride back) and he tells me they can't do it due to the type of filter/fluid it takes. Would have been great to know that when I talked to him weeks ago. So wasted a trip and now I'm scrambling to find someone to do it before I leave in a week.

Had my car at another garage for 2 months waiting on a transmission replacement. Laney's had one ordered and repaired within 3 days. May take a couple days before they can get your car in the lot but it's because they only have a few spaces. Call ahead before you go. Excellent work. Pretty good pricing. Wouldn't put any parts on your car that he wouldn't put on his own so don't expect cheap parts.

About a half dozen people recommended these guys and I see why. Just old school good ol boys who know their stuff and do what they say. Their shop is neat as a pin (see photos) which tells me a lot about Laney's. They got to the job quickly, got it done and at a very reasonable price. Don't look for cheap though, you get what you pay for. If you want it done right take it to Laney's.
