Pricey but worth it. Mr Hip was kind and worked with me to understand the problem, and see the parts and show the problem. Along with a full break down of the pricing.

WHEN I BRING MY CAR TO A CAR SHOP,AND THE OWNER DO WORK ON MY VEHICLE. THEN HE TURN AROUND AND FIND ANOTHER PROBLEM WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE. HE SHOULD ASK ME DO I WANT HIM TO FIX IT,OR NOT. BUT DON'T TRY TO CHARGE ME MORE MONEY FOR A DIAGNOSIS. WHEN YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT'S WRONG. JUST GIVE ME THE PRICE TO FIX IT.

Skilled mechanics. Very reasonable. Will tell you what needs to be fixed right now and what you can wait on. If it's something they don't do, they will recommend someone like if you need a wheel alignment.

Not good at all! Brought my truck to this shop thinking because this was a mechanic shop and not a shade tree mechanic that I would get the best service. Well I was sadly mistaken. Took the truck there to have fuel pump replaced, he charged 299 just to diagnose it, bought a fuel pump for him to change it, then he said it was electrical, got in contact with the people I pay a note to every two weeks for them to send a signal to truck, and they clearly said nothing electrical was wrong with it mind you everything is computerized when u pay a note on a vehicle that can be disabled if you don't pay your note on time. Then he tells us that we can take the pump back, so we took it back going on his word that it wasn't the fuel pump! Now he is saying that he changed the Catalytic converter, and that he need the new fuel pump to keep the truck running because the old pump blows a fuse on the truck to stop it from running! Asked him how much, HE IS CHARGING US A WHOPPING PRICE OF $1100 and the truck is still not fully running! Sounds like a legal action to me! I would never ever recommend anyone to this place is so called business😤😤😤🖕🖕🖕🖕

I used this business to install a engine and everything was fine until after it was installed it was making a noise. The owner told me it was the engine, after taking it to the Buick dealership I was advised the tension in the chain needed to be reset and that would resolve the problem. The owner calls and advises that the chain needs to be replaced and the dealership will need to special order because he can not adjust the timing chain and he will have to charge me $180 for something that he should have been able to detect before installing the engine. I just feel because I am a female i was taken advantage of but a lesson learned on my part so if you can use someone else do so it will save you time and money

My man Mr Hip took care of me as always. I come here for all car (PT Cruiser) maintenance needs and never leave disappointed. Car drives very nice afterwards and price is on point. As a matter of fact, price is very legit (the cheapest in town). Hip is a good guy to conversate with while you there. He knows a little about everythang (from politics to women). I noticed that every time I'm there, a good deal of the honeys like to stop by shop to see Mr. Hip as he's considered eye candy to many of them. Always have a great time visiting the shop. Most definitely recommend! *Update as of 1/6/26, Hip is at Range Road Complete Car Care in Denham Springs. Swing by there and he’ll take care of you, yall know where I’m going.

Took wife's 2010 Ford Edge to Lee's to have a tune-up done last month. Upon picking up car, Lee's charged $268.40. Two days ago, wife called me to report that the check engine light was on and car was jerking while driving. Again took car to Lee's for diagnosis and was told three ignition coils needing changing and would cost $631.40 for them to do the job. Upon inquiring whether this was part of a tune-up which should have been done previously, we were told that it wasn't there job to assume what all a customer wants done for a tune-up and that he has charged others a tune-up price just for a simple oil change. In disbelief, my wife pointed out that her research showed that these were basic services routinely performed by experienced mechanics without having to consult the customer as to whether or not to do so, and I pointed out that it was unfair to be charged twice as much for this service as what I was charged previously for what should have been included in the first service, but, the owner simply shrugged his shoulders and said that with or without his service for the current problem, we now owed him $71.50 for the diagnosis. Realizing that it appeared to be a blatant ripoff, we paid the diagnostic fee in disgust, and left declining any further work by this shop. This honest review is a warning to anyone else considering service at this shop.

I took my truck their to get a rack and pinion and tie rod fixed and then now I have a wiring problem,it was driving good and how I know is, because I drove it their to Lee's shop and now it doesn't start and I came from driving it and now I have to toll it. They are unexperienced mechanics, they do not know what they are doing and will break your car if you let them. I prayed on them and leave them in God's hands.God will punish them for doing me like that, watch what I say, for them doing me wrong God do not like ugly and they will get theirs for hurting many people and thinking that they gotten away with it. But in do time they time is coming. Where the hell did they get their certification license from. Because they sure don't know what they are doing

Excellent service plus since I was waiting they took me right in to charge my a/c for the first time since it was replaced which usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. So Mr Lee’s had me out of there in 50 minutes. Also charged me less since I paid cash! Also I told him I had brought another car in the day before which I had, so he gave me discount! Lots of perks, quick, reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere! Give them some business u won’t be sorry!

My Brother took his car here over 10 years ago and my mom used them fairly recently so she recommended them to me so I tried them out. Mr. Lee and his mechanics are outstanding. I drive 15 miles one way to get my car serviced by them when there are so many other options right next to me. The trip is worth every inch because ultimately it comes down to I trust these guys. There are so many sleazy people in any service industry who will try to gaslight you and or upsell you on things you may not need or any number of shady practices, but Mr. Lee’s shop is not one of them. I’m going to them again for another separate issue with my car and it’s very relieving not having to worry if they’re going to screw me over. Plus, their prices on labor are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

We have relied on Lee’s Complete Car Care for many years, and up until recently, we had nothing but positive experiences. In an industry where finding an honest and capable auto repair shop feels a bit like searching for buried treasure, Lee’s was truly a rare gem. Hip and his team were consistently reliable, efficient, and fair with their pricing. If anything ever went awry — which was rare — Hip resolved it quickly and without drama. That kind of service builds trust, and we had plenty of it. Sadly, Hip recently sold the business, and our first experience under the new ownership was… less than inspiring. We brought our Jeep in for an air conditioning issue (because we live in Louisiana and enjoy breathing), and were quoted $479 for the repair. It stung a little, but we approved the work, because melting isn’t really an option in summer. The next day, the A/C failed again. We returned to the shop and were told that the real cost to fix the problem was $1,579 — but in their generosity, they’d deduct the $479 we already paid. How thoughtful. We’re not mechanics, but we do know that car repair isn’t supposed to work like a bad infomercial: “But wait! There’s more!” We expected a proper diagnosis and repair based on the original quote. What we didn’t expect was to pay nearly $500 for… essentially a very expensive guess. At that point, we decided to cut our losses and take the vehicle elsewhere. We briefly considered following up to press the issue but ultimately decided it wasn’t worth the risk. If the initial repair wasn’t accurate, it didn’t inspire much confidence in what a second attempt might bring — and we'd prefer not to roll the dice with our A/C system in July. We’re sharing our experience so that other longtime customers are aware: things have changed. Your experience may vary, but for us, the difference was night and day. Hip built a great reputation through integrity, skill, and customer care. We’re truly sorry to see that legacy fade so quickly. (And Hip — if you happen to read this, we still respect you… though we may want to punch you in the throat if we see you in the frozen food aisle for selling the shop!) While we wish the new owners the best, we’ll be seeking auto service elsewhere.
