Got a car from them that was supposed to be fully serviced and was even told was serviced just to have to spend $400 out of pocket on parts, and not be reimbursed and whoever Chris is is one of the rudest people I’ve talked to for him to be a “manager”. Don’t recommend if I could give my car back I would.

Had a flat today and they took a look at my car and were able to patch it up free of charge. They are always nice, helpful, and honest. I went to dealership to check out a CX-50 2024 in april, Mr. Jimmy Laughlin was my salesman and he was very informative and helpful. After meeting with sales manager and Owner I was offered a great price and I bought the vehicle. Process was painless and quick. Mr. Jimmy went through all the vehicle’s features explaining all the different settings and helping me with getting my phone connected to the car media. Scheduled my mother a test drive in a 2018 CX-5 she was going to pay cash for and she was told she would have to pay an additional 3000 because she was paying cash which is garbage. I would also like to add she said she was treated like she was to poor to buy, good job lee edwards she just paid cash for a 23 Camry.

Buying experience was quick and easy and the sales team was amazing. I cannot say the same for their management and service. I bought a 2022 ford expedition they said was checked throughly by their service department. Not even a month later I’m having to pay to get a pinion seal to get fixed. I called them to try and get them to fix it because they guaranteed me their service department and the 360 check. They told me take it to ford. That seal was for sure leaking before I bought it as the build up underneath the car was significant. The manager said they would possible help on the cost but they did nothing. I already bought the vehicle so I guess I’m not their problem. Lew Edward’s family haha. I would only buy a new car here and don’t expect them to get you fixed.

I broke down with my engine overheating today. I called and limped my truck to them. The service department was courteous and squeezed me in for an emergency fix. What should have been an all evening affair due to no appointment only cost me an hour and half of time. I want to personally thank the service team for taking care of me and my daughter, as we live over 50 miles away from the monroe area. Your mechanic was grade A in assisting me.

I can only speak to the service department ONLY and my almost two experiences with them. My first experience was a software update. I had to call more than once to schedule this, as there is apparently only one person to do scheduling. The first time I called I was told that this gentleman was unavailable and my number was taken. After not getting a call back I called again the next day and left my message again. I finally received a call back late that afternoon and got scheduled. When I arrived I pointed out something on the leather seat in back and asked to have that looked at as well. Waiting room is uncomfortable and not where I loved spending an hour, but okay. There is an empty refrigerator and a vending machine with a note taped to the front stating they don’t own this machine and are not responsible for lost money. A large screen that either wasn’t working or not turned on. Car came out, no one had looked at the seat. So I asked for someone to check this for me. Someone came out and took a glance while hitting their vape and told me to use leather cleaner. Fast forward to today. Called first thing this morning for a rear wiper arm that began falling down when I hit a bump too hard. He’s busy again, left a message. I called back just before closing and was told he had been in meetings today “can we get your number again?” Nope. I gave this a second chance without luck so will be taking it to a different dealership. My suggestion is that if your service manager is too busy to return calls, perhaps someone else could schedule appointments while he is unavailable. My time is valuable too.

⭐ 0 Stars – Unacceptable Experience with Mazda of Monroe, Louisiana Review: I am John, and if possible, I would give Lee Edwards Mazda of Monroe zero stars. My experience was extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about how this dealership operates. Here is what I experienced: 1. Mazda refused to share any of the financial numbers they ran on my behalf. 2. I was asked to sign paperwork, and only afterward did I find out they were running my credit without fully explaining what I was authorizing. 3. They would not provide the actual prices of their vehicles at any point in the process. 4. After being denied, they gave me no written explanation, no letter, and no official details only a verbal statement saying, “you weren’t approved.” 5. I spent the entire day there from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, watching employees walk past me without updates, only for someone I had not even worked with to eventually tell me I wasn’t approved. 6. It felt intentional, as though they ran my credit multiple times just to lower my score and prevent me from seeking financing elsewhere. 7. Employees openly talked negatively about other clients in front of me. 8. It appeared that customers were judged based on appearance, which seemed to affect who was approved for a vehicle. 9. During a test drive, an employee drove recklessly, flooring the car and speeding down Millhaven Road. This frightened both myself and my wife, and afterward, the employee lied about the vehicle driving itself. 10. Mazda knew we had the funds available but pushed for a larger down payment. When we refused, they refused to sell us a car. This was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. I am leaving this review to make others aware of these practices and to encourage potential buyers to be cautious when doing business with Mazda of Monroe. IT IS MY INTENTIONS TO PURSUE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THIS COMPANY
