I did buy my ID-4 here, and I passed again with a friend to shop for a 7 seat vehicle. Even knowing we weren't doing business that day Jimmy personnel treated us respectfully and we had a good opportunity to see their options. Thank you Jimmy and team

I do not recommend this location unless you want bad service. Rafel(service manager) cares more about servicing as many cars vs. fixing issues. A lot of the service repairs are repeat. They charge you multiple diagnostic fees for brand new cars. Additionally, he is a little racist to non American decent people. The treatment here is not worth a penny. Don’t buy here or have service.

This is clearly the best service team in the VW brand. What an amazing experience!! It starts with the service manager, Mr Ralph Clement and is extended by the amazing technicians and support staff you meet at every turn. The ownership should be extremely proud of how these individuals take care of the customers. But most importantly VW corporate should take notice that I believe Leith VW of Cary is their very best in the entire enterprise. Bravo to Ralph, the service team, and ownership; you get it right every single time! Thank you!!

I will probably not be returning to Leith VW of Cary, or any other Leith locations. Here's why: I no longer trust them. I have a three strikes rule. Here are their three strikes: Strike 1: last time I came in for service I asked them to check the battery. When I picked up my car, they said the battery was fine. A week later, dead. I had to call a mobile battery tech to come swap. The tech said the battery was 4 years old and couldn't get above 9v. The tech said no one in their right mind would have said the battery was fine. Evidence suggests that Leith VW was mistaken when they said "the battery is fine". This was pretty egregious. Strike 2: During my most recent service, I didn't hear anything for 48 hours. I had to call in to find out they were waiting on parts. Not quite as egregious, but unprofessional. Strike 3: I pick up my car just now for the primary symptom of crunching sounds when going over speed bumps. They say it's fixed. As I'm driving out of the parking lot, I hit a speed bump. Same crunching sound. So, once again, I'm led to wonder whether they did a thorough job at all. I don't know what the explanation is and I no longer care. Their service used to be top notch and trustworthy. But these are three strikes in a row. I'm willing to pay dealership prices, but the expectation is that service is the highest quality. I don't want to go somewhere that I'll be left wondering if they even know what they're doing anymore. I expect this level of service from second rate mom'n'pop shops. I'm taking the time to write this in hopes that Leith VW takes it to heart and strives to get back to the quality of service they used to offer.

Bought out our lease on their busiest day of the week. That place is so fun, if you have kids, bring them. There is so much to look at, it's basically a VW museum with areas for children to play at while you wait for service, amazing restored vehicles straight out of the 60's, and if you are car shopping, like the family ahead of us, kiddos still have fun, not a "hush and sit still" environment. Watching an associate toss a football to a toddler girl and then watching her play with the ball while her parents finished up ahead of us in financing was the highlight of my day. I couldn't say enough good things about this place really, I wish I were better with names, but every single associate we spoke to from the lot all the way to financing was so friendly and cool, yet high energy and efficient, I'm a customer for life.

Brought VW Atlas purchased from this dealer for first service at 7am as the first person in line. Had to watch for 5 hours while people came in and left before my car was finished and I lost half a day's work for a simple oil change. No updates given and no explanation was offered. When asked repeatedly for a reason the service rep blamed it on a software update. Will never get service here again.

Been twice for oil changes. My new VW included 3 every 10k miles. Haven't had to pay anything so can't fully comment about pricing. Showroom and waiting area are nice too.

Would not recommend anyone to do business with these people. They are so dishonest. They said I needed new rear breaks when I got my oil changed, gave me a price on them. When I scheduled an appointment to have them done.Gave me a different price when I arrived, $100 more. They tryed to deny the original price until I pulled out the paper work.Went on to let them do my breaks anyway.Had me wait 3hrs just to tell me I needed calibers also.Ask how much would that cost total, gave me 2 different prices. At this point I could no longer trust them and told them not to do the work. Apon me waiting on my vehicle their was a woman waiting on her vehicle. Service came and told her she needed her tires rotated. She said I thought that was every 5000mls.He stated that's right she then said she had only driven not quite 4000 why would they need to do that now.She then said you all are just after money and will not be deceiving her out her money.

Bobby and Jordan did great work to our Atlas! We had a dead battery the day before we were to be induced and they were able to get us in first thing in the morning to get it fixed.

First of all, I’d like to thank Bobby. As a foreigner, I sometimes struggle with communicating in English, but he really helped me a lot with the warranty repair process for my Taos. He kindly explained the issues with my car in detail, and even set me up with a rental car after I dropped mine off, which made things so much easier.

Bobby and Gavin have been my service advisor and technician for my new GTI. I've had a few issues with the intake manifold sensor and some other "ghost" issues causing a check engine light. They know I want to tune my vehicle so they replaced the entire engine wiring harness to ensure we are in a good position and clear the CEL. Truly great guys to work with and I appreciate they know my vehicle. Usually you hear nothing but negative things about dealership service departments especially for people who want to modify their vehicles. Gavin and Bobby have been a breath of fresh air and a pleasure to work with.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a Volkswagen from Leith Volkswagen, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked into the dealership, I was greeted by friendly staff who were eager to assist me. My salesman, Mike, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He listened to my needs and preferences and helped me find the perfect Volkswagen that met all of my requirements. Mike's knowledge of the vehicles and his genuine dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction made the buying process smooth and enjoyable. The team at Leith Volkswagen went above and beyond to ensure that my car was in perfect condition before I picked it up. They took the time to address any concerns I had and made sure that I felt confident and comfortable with my purchase. Overall, I highly recommend Leith Volkswagen to anyone in search of a quality car and exceptional customer service. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting customer needs truly set them apart. Thank you to Mike and the entire team at Leith Volkswagen for making my car buying experience a memorable one!

Reading from the reviews of some customers, I have to raise both hands to agree with them. 1. Never returned calls. Miss the previous adviser several years ago- very professional and curtesy. 2. Diagnosed same issue with different results each time. Just like doctors who could not find out the causes, so prescribe all sort of medicine hoping that will cure your illness. 3. Company owner was changed but the service stays the same… Money driven. 4. An auto shop offered a loaner when my car was getting a service. This company wouldn’t offer. After so many years being a repeated customer, I sincerely hope this company will perform a better service.

This dealership has been top notch and great to work with in every way. We came here from another dealership and have a working relationship with both Rafael the Service Manager and Ian the service writer. They helped us out with a loaner vehicle when we needed and Saved my bacon when I left the shop Garage Door opener in that car. Ian especially went well above and beyond the call of duty, made certain I got it back. Outstanding work , thank you so much!

Went in for an oil change. When I picked it up, it had a check engine light on. I thought it was just a glitch because mk8 GTI is known to have random faults pop up on the dash. Next day the check engine light is still there so I go back and tell them to check it out, maybe they overfilled it. They tell me the oil is fine and it had nothing to do with them. They said it was because of my tune and not the oil change (my car has an air intake and stage 1 tune). They also said it was a throttle control error and that I'd have to come back in for further diagnosis (which Id have to pay for). It turns out it was just because they didnt secure the oil cap back on. Thats it. They didnt even check their work to make sure it wasnt them or else this problem would've been resolved. They let me leave with a check engine light from something they messed up and told me it wasnt their fault, the timing of the check engine light coming on right after the oil change was just coincidence. Not cool. Do not recommend. Go get your service somewhere else. People go back to the dealership and pay extra for oil changes to make sure it gets done properly because the mechanics are VW techs and know better. Guess not.

The so called VW Authorized technicians are not able to figure out what’s wrong with my car. Basically they don’t want to spend much time on your car diagnosing the problem. All they care about is the number of cars they service in a day, not customer satisfaction. Never coming back.

I just had another positive service experience that left me feeling great! Julia and Tony helped me out by squeezing in a diagnostic and replacing the injector harness on my Tiguan. Everything was seamlessly covered by the extended warranty. I really appreciate their quick, prompt work and excellent service!

VW introduced the Phaeton in 2004. Starting price was around $75,000. VW wanted to compete with BMW/Lexus/Mercedes along w/other high dollar cars. Over 10 yrs, if you bought a Phaeton you were treated with respect by the dealership. The car did not make it in the high dollar market and only sold for 3 years. My Phaeton was leased previously by another person and I was the first owner of it in 2006. The Phaeton became obsolete and slowly Leith finally refused to service my car. At that point, essentially, you had a $75,000 car that was scrap metal. Finally, the hood latch broke and I could not access anything under the hood (adding oil, coolant, air filters, etc). Bottom line, my car runs perfectly, is clean, basically looks like new and has 64,000 miles and I cannot comfortably drive it 50 miles and back. I feel Leith abandoned their customers on the Phaeton and left them hanging. It appears that Leith's attitude on this high dollar car, is you bought it years ago, and since it is obsolete, they do not want anything else to do with it. This attitude is reflected in an unfriendly manner by the service staff in not helping to assist with just providing simple advise on how I could get the hood open.

Customer #: V308477 I initially felt that the service fee was quite high, but after picking up my car and driving it on the road, I could immediately feel the difference. My car was smooth and sturdy again, reminiscent of how it felt when I first bought it one and half year ago. I noticed that the technician did an excellent job, and his work made a significant difference in maintaining my car's safety. I truly appreciate his efforts!
