I had a check engine light that kept coming on despite 3 previous repair attempts. The mechanics at Len's diagnosed the problem and repaired it for less than $200. I love that they never try to upsell.

Dave helped us with a flat, asked what do we owe him and he said “Just have a nice day”. Great first experience, we will consider these guys in the future when we have any car issues. Thanks Dave!

This place is one the reason why I don't trust mechanics. I got a check engine light and brought my car to auto zone to get it checkout. It say something was wrong with the 3rd cylinder, miss fire. I want to make sure what the problem was so I brough my car to this crook auto shop. One of the employee told me that I can bring in my car to get it check out and if I want to go ahead and get it fix, that's totally up to me. So I drop off my car and they look at it. Dave call me about a hour later saying it'll cost me $191 for a bad coil. He also told me that the part cost $79 which was a lied because I call O'Reilly auto parts down the street and they were selling the part for $45. So crooked mechanic Dave was charging me $118 for his labor for unscrewing one bolt and replacing a coil. I decided not to go with crooked mechanic Dave and do it myself. He was not happy with the situation and ended up charging me $72 just to look at my car. Stay away if you dont wany to be cheated. Mike's auto shops on white bear Ave does a excellent job. One mechanic I trust.

I've been going to lens Automotive for 30 years now. Service has been fantastic and Jimmy and the guys won't screw you over they do what's necessary to get you going! My latest trip for battery replacement relieved a lot of stress for me not having to do this by myself.

I read a couple reviews that were less than 5 stars and I pity those who wrote them as ignorance is clearly on their side. This family owned auto repair business has been a gem in St. Paul for years and is highly recommended! They have saved my wife and I a lot of money and have completed work with sincere integrity. Their work speaks for itself!

I no longer live in the twin cities based on the recommendation of a co-worker whose ex-husband works there. I brought my Jeep in for a number of problems on several occasions - notably the transmission and steering / stabilization systems. My old neighbor asked what I had done on the vehicle, the cost, and was I satisfied with the work. I showed him the invoice with the total cost clearly visible, and that I couldn't be happier with the work they did. Len's Automotive were quick, affordable, and were happy to explain anything I had questions about. Highly recommend!!!

Brought my truck in due to it not starting, was told it was the timing chain, gave them the green light to fix it, the truck sat in the lot for over 2 months only for them to tell me the motor was shot. Crazy work

Great experience. My car was making a terrible rattling noise. Dave was able to find a loose bolt and tighten it up for me. I was thinking that the ball joint was bad and would need to replace it. Expecting to pay $400. Dave was able to diagnose and fix the issue for a little over $100 and got the car back to me in 2 hours. Wonderful local experience! Could not recommend enough.

I typically don't trust mechanics. But these guys do great work at a fair price, the only place I'd bring my jeep.

I dropped my car off and asked Len's to check out a noise it was making. Len's Auto never called me to let me know what they found and never called to ask if I wanted anything repaired. The only time the contacted me was to leave a voicemail saying that my car was ready. When I showed up I had a bill for over $300. I was really upset that Len's went ahead and did work on my vehicle without calling to let me know what was going on and asking if I wanted those services done. Prior to this I had good experiences with Len's but they've lost my trust.

I was having a problem with the hood on my son’s truck not latching and I needed to drive it two hours back to his house that day. The mechanic fixed it quickly even though I had just randomly showed up at the shop. I really appreciated how accommodating they were.

I needed a break job and I dropped it off with confidence that Len’s would take care of me as I had been a repeat customer for over a decade. I was told I needed rear breaks and it would be $600. Okay. Pads and rotors. I suppose that’s high but still I trusted the shoppe so I gave the “okay”. I picked up my car the following day and off I went. A few days later I noticed that only one side of the rear axel had a new rotor and the other side was old and in bad shape. I even asked a friend of mine to take a look because I just couldn’t believe what I saw. He also agreed that it wasn’t done and he further noted that the pads were worn and not replaced. I went back to Len’s and was told that side of the axel was still good. What?! No one ever does one side of the axel!!! I should have asked for my money back but I a least demanded to get the break pads that I was charged for! I’m a single mother and I trusted Len’s for over a decade. I don’t have the words to stress how disappointed I am. Not only was I over charged I was also put in harms way with bad breaks on one side.

Got work done on my vehicle and the work was a fair price. I was shown price options for parts ordered through their trusted suppliers. Was given a very fair price considering the work has been demonstrated to be “you get what you pay”. Not just that, a good quality moral at business. Much respect to the Garage here.
