Recently, I had a profoundly negative experience with Les Schwab, despite having been a loyal customer for years. I had a suspension inspection and wheel/tie balancing for my vehicle. Les Schwab informed me that the inspection would take some time. Upon dropping off my vehicle, they assured me that one of my lug nuts would not come off the wheel and that they would attempt to remove it if I consented, without regard to potential damage to the store. I agreed to their procedure to complete the balancing. During the inspection, Les Schwab indicated that the sway bar linkage was loose and that everything else appeared to be in order. They also informed me that my vehicle was ready for pickup. However, when I retrieved my vehicle, I noticed that the steering wheel was crooked. Every time I attempted to straighten it, it pulled in a specific direction, suggesting an alignment issue that Les Schwab had not mentioned during their inspection. Despite the inspection, Les Schwab refused to perform an alignment on my vehicle or schedule a follow-up appointment. When I contacted them on the phone, they expressed no desire to resolve the alignment issue or take my vehicle back for inspection. They claimed that the alignment had no bearing on the suspension inspection and that they had not inspected it. As a result, I am now compelled to take my vehicle to another location to address the alignment issue. The paperwork provided by Les Schwab states that my vehicle is in good condition and that there are no suspension or alignment issues Les Schwab’s paperwork states my vehicle is in good condition with no suspension or alignment issues. However, there are issues they didn’t mention after inspecting it.

They try to be friendly, but this location is predatory. Had my mustang in there a couple months ago due to a slight rattle/clunking sound. Called and scheduled an appointment and asked them specifically to investigate that noise in the right front. A couple days go by and they call saying that I need new control arms because mine were “fairly” warn. I told them that if they diagnosed the front end and that’s what they came up with, then I want to fix it, but I don’t think that’s the cause of the noise and I thought it was a strut mount. He said he’s sure it’s the control arms. So $1200 later, they call and say the noise is gone and I can pick it up. I go pick the car up and don’t even make it out of their parking lot before I hear the noise. I called the next day and told them the noise is still there. So they tell me to bring it back in, so I do, and then they tell me that it’s my front sway bar bracket not staying pinned down, and that my end link jam nuts were coming loose. So I take the car home, lift it and check sway bar and end links, everything was tight as can be. So I ordered new strut mounts myself and installed them, and wouldn’t you know it, the noise is gone. So instead of just doing what I asked, it seems like they just sold me the most expensive thing they could find in the front end, I felt very taken advantage of by a company that I had trusted for years. I would stay away from this location as much as possible, they are predatory and don’t seem to know what they’re talking about. If you need anything more than tire mounting, you should go somewhere else.

They looked at my jeep and told me to go someplace else not intrested in doing my front end repairs. I went home and did it myself. Nobody wants to work for their money anymore they want easy money

Bought two deep cell batteries a few months apart. Both batteries went bad within a year. One battery they couldn’t find the original paperwork in the computer, it just disappeared. So I fought to have that one replaced. So I now have two new replaced batteries I’m gonna sell. So I brought in BOTH batteries to TEST and CHARGE… then to include the relevant paperwork (that they are good and charged) with EACH battery at the time I sell them. FYI: I then left them from Friday to Monday. Then on Monday I picked them up. * Normally, any place gives you a print out of each of the batteries, with the paperwork “showing” the battery was good, and each one was charged. BUT… all I got was a one page “print out” showing only ONE complimentary charge… but in the small print… it says BOTH batteries on the paperwork. So how am I supposed to use this??? Nothing else. That’s it. * Btw, it’s not complementary if you bought them there, it’s general maintenance and upkeep. Geez. So NO test report “print out” provided, NO paperwork for each battery… to showing a TEST and a CHARGE. The paperwork only shows one battery, with a one page print out. Just one battery “check” and “complimentary” charge. No serial numbers, no ID on the batteries, no idea what the hell they did. What a waste of time. See I’ve been with Les Schwab since 1982, and this was the biggest waste of time and the biggest joke I’ve ever seen (and now you wonder how they could have “lost” the original paperwork in the computer for one of the batteries). Oh… but they sure can charge you. But when you need any warranty or service done? Everything about the service, paperwork, and any warranty seems to disappear… so you don’t have proof of anything. And Les Schwab wonders why people are now going other places to purchase batteries? Geez 🙄 See Walmart and all auto part stores will not only give you the battery test report, but have ALL the paperwork completed. That way you know exactly what was done, and you have PROOF. And it’s ALL FREE. Unlike Les Schwab and their so-called free $20.99 “battery check”. Grrrr.. So my next batteries will come from Walmart, Costco, or Sam’s Club. What a joke. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I have had my brakes serviced at both Windsor and Greeley, CO locations. I have taken my vehicle several times with no issues. This last time, I had brake squeaking constant since having my brakes replaced. I was told that I needed to break them in and it would go away. On May 26th 2023 I went to the Greeley location because the squeaking was so loud and that was the nearest location. I arrived and explained to the tech my issue. The tech advised me that I would have to wait for a while as he was going to perform a full inspection on all four brakes because sometimes dust or debris can get between the brake and the rotors causing them to squeak. They were super busy and I was there for a couple of hours. Once the tech reviewed my vehicle he said the rear ones looked fine and the front ones were very hot and that's not normal. He said he was going to warranty them out because he thinks they might be defective. When finished the tech said he fully inspected all four brakes, replaced the front ones, cleaned and lubricated the rear ones and that I should be all set and not have any more issues. On June 25th, 2023, my rear passenger caliper fell off while I was driving. I could not brake and had to use the shoulder to slow down my vehicle. The bolts on the caliper were missing and the center piece fell off somewhere down the road. It's only been a month and I have not driven many miles. This should have never happened.

I went in to get my tire air pressure checked and get my tires rotated. When they were done I was ready to pay and I didn’t get charged for the service. I am telling you that I am returning when I’m ready to purchase new tires. Great service and very helpful answering questions.

Very disappointed. I've been using Les Schwab for years now, after this last appointment with them I will never visit this center again, I got brakes rotors and calipers done and they did not flush the brake fluid!! Not only is that the most unsafe thing you can possibly do, very unethical how they sent us on our way saying everything was good. This location definitely needs a REAL brake tech.

Been there 3 times and every time it gets worse. I didn't have any trouble with my car till I had tires put on with the Greeley shop. My tire light has never gone off since I bought the tires, even after multiple visits to the shop. Do not recommend

Les Schwab has a great team working there! I feel bad to leave anyone out, but I only know of Marc, Samuel & Maxwell. I want to give high praises to them, Im sure the rest of the team is just as good! They are knowledgeable, respectful and trustworthy technicians. They called me to inform me of any issues they were running into while working on my old truck, 1995 Toyota Pickup. They took care of everything I needed done and helped me make the right choices to fix other things that they recommend I fix, with very good explanations. I honestly ended up spending more than I was hoping to, but for good reason. Now, my truck rides like I have never felt before. I am extremely happy with the results! 100% 10/10 recommend bringing your vehicle here! 👌🏽👍🏽

Went to get my brakes done and they didn't have the right parts so I had to go back to get the rest finished - they didn't do a brake flush initially - had to complain that it was never touched. I'm pretty sure this is why females can't trust going to mechanics or service places without a man by their side. It was a pretty bad experience where I had to go back three different times just for this one service to be finished even after the bad service they didn't discount us for the service or anything. Still have to pay out our asses for a bad job done. But I get it they serviced my vehicle. So customers be aware and definitely check your vehicle to make sure Services were done and done correctly

I recently pulled into this location when my TPI came on telling me that one of my tires was very low. I was driving a company car used to pick-up special needs adults. Robbie came out to put air in the tire and discovered that it had a 1" gash that turned out to be from a box blade! He offered to fix it on the spot. He patched the tire and checked the pressure on all of the others getting us back on the road in about 30 minutes. He was kind, helpful, and knowledgable. He really helped calm an unexpectedly stressful situation. Thank you Robbie!

Made an appointment to get new tires online and got the cheapest tires they had cause I'm poor and it said the total would be 350 which hurt but I needed new tires bad. I ended up paying 550 at the register... I guess I'll be eating tires this month I hope the extra cost means they taste good.

Go to Big O Tires instead they offer a 6 month warranty on alignments. Got an alignment and barely a month after it my 2023 needs to be readjusted and of course they want me to pay again their free aliment check is a trap to get you to pay for an adjustment.
