I always receive good service with this business. JR is helpful and gets my work done quickly. He's honest and has never tried to talk me into anything that I don't need. His charges are always reasonable, I have seriously saved a lot of money using Lovefield Auto instead of taking my cars to the dealer.

They will scam you out of your money. In my recent experience I went here and thoroughly explained my problem and their solution was to “reprogram” my car/battery in which they charged me $75. Now all they did was plug a tablet into my car and pressed a button, literally only takes a few seconds. I even had my car “reprogrammed” prior to for free. The reason why they needed to reprogram: They said since auto zone removed the negative cable from my battery, all I needed was it to be reset (reprogrammed) and then it will stop cutting out on me after 10 mins of being idle/driving…. That was a lie I went to an actual dodge dealership/service and all I needed was a new battery. It’s telling that this shop could not figure that out. It’s telling that as soon as I got in my vehicle, I was experiencing the same problem and they still charged me $75. It’s telling that they only spent a total of 5-10 mins with my vehicle but still charged me for a service that didn’t resolve my issue. I should’ve left initially due to the language barrier. I don’t think anyone there spoke English which made it easier to get over on me. I was working directly with the owner and I’m highly disappointed in how they got over on me as a woman especially when I’ve explained that I’ve already lost money at 2 other auto shops. I’d never recommend anyone to go here. They only care about the money.

Awesome guys! Got me fixed up at a reasonable price and in and out in about 90 minutes. Also super cool with my dog hanging out while we waited.

Let me tell you why I drive 40 minutes to go to Lovefield. I've tried to find a local mechanic in Plano for years. The good ones are insanely expensive, and everyone else I've tried can't seem to fix my car correctly. I started going to Lovefield about 7 years ago, and I've never had a bad experience. The rate feels fair, and the mechanics have never failed to identify and fix the issues I'm having with my car. I hate driving nearly 1.5 hours round trip, but it is so worth it. Highly recommend!

Javier is the man! Consistently nice, consistently honest, consistently a great price.. My family and our many cars over 10+ years have never worried about where to take our post warranty vehicles, mostly Nissans and Toyotas, we take them to Love Field Auto Repair and receive good service at a good price. Thanks Javier!

Called on a Monday to see if they did state inspections. They do!! The guy on the phone told me they closed at 6pm. I left work early and showed up at 530. The female associate getting into her car told me they were closed and that “we” already shut down the systems. Even though the sign clearly says 6pm. They need to update their times online, the times posted on the door, and inform their workers what time they close so everything is on the same page!

My 2014 Ram Promaster Van was overheating. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a couple of hours. Dual fan assembly was shot. Saved my day.

Brought in my 04 scion xb to get a diagnostic on what needs to be fixed in the future and get my third brake light changed. These guys are down to earth as they come, extremely sincere and humble. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a local mechanic and now have found one! Looking forward to bringing my car in again to get some well needed repairs :)!! Thanks again guys!

I cannot say enough great things. After moving to Texas it has been so hard to find a trustworthy mechanic who will not true to overcharge you. A prior mechanic oversaw my worn brakes on 3 inspections and finally caught it once they had scratched my rotors beyond repair. They quoted me $1,100 which was ridiculous. I was instead referred to Javier by a friend and it was such a wonderful experience. They were so kind, reasonable, and got me in and out. I am so grateful for their help and will definitely be returning!!☺️

I cannot recommend Lovefield highly enough! I brought my BMW in for so many issues over the last couple of years, and Javier and his other excellent mechanics always fixed it quickly and for a reasonable price. They're honest and do great work.

The bottom plastic cover underneath my car got loose and started scraping across the ground. It was a quick fix and the team there was super friendly and helpful. The prices are fair and I will definitely be coming back. When you arrive you can park your car at an empty lane and walk into the office through the garage to speak with the owner.

I’ve entrusted my 2002 Toyota Celica GTS to Lovefield Auto Repair twice now, and both times they have been more than fair with pricing and exceptionally quick with their work. J.R. and Javier in particular are straight-shooting and honest workers, and you can bet if I ever need work done on my car, I’m coming here. Thank you!

They over priced the work done on my wife’s vehicle $ 650.00 to replace 6 spark plugs . They could’ve and should’ve called her to tell her how much it was gonna be . This is the last time we will do business there . Gonna call ICE to have them checked out.

Left car before closing and done before noon next day!!!! “Jackie” ‘2010 G37x engine started missing suddenly on freeway got to my exit and performance of car was poor car has 183k miles has been trouble free since I purchased car with 20k miles on it in 2013 this shop has worked on the brakes and other lil items and every time this shop pulls through five stars all the way straight shooters here if anyone gives a bad review in my experience it’s because they themselves are idiots or don’t have any idea on how to maintain a vehicle.

I'm a bit disappointed how men in the auto repair business will try to take advantage of women. I randomly stopped by this shop 1 week ago because my ac would blow hot when idle but cold otherwise. I was asked about putting in refrigerant, and I said some was put it (might have put too much). My refrigeratent was checked, and I was told the levels were good after whatever was done. I was told it was the compressor and J.R. suggested a complete ac overhaul for my 2017 Honda Accord for $1300. Don't get me wrong, J.R. was very nice and respectful plus told me to keep the $100 for checking the refrigerant to save for the $1300. As a woman, I have learned to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion. Bottom line I needed a fan and my air has been super cold since. This repair shop wasn't for me but could be for you. Ladies be careful out there with your money.

I broke down across from this shop because my serpentine belt came out. Javier diagnosed the tensioner belt was bad. After 3 hours they finished and it cost me in total for labor and parts $533.45. I asked other mechanics how long it takes to replaced it and they told me an experience mechanic will do it in less than an hour. They were nice but I know that this was a one job opportunity and they took advantage of the opportunity because I didn't have a choice. I asked a few others about this shop and one person told me that it wasn't his first choice but they were reliable. I heard Javier telling another customer about a job that will take 5 hours and will cost $900 so I thought they would charge around $180 per hour. If you break down near them, just know it can be pricey. P.S. After two hours, I asked Javier how much longer it would be and he said about another hour. So my boss asked me to take an Uber to work and leave the truck there. So I told the mechanic that I needed my belongings and that is when he said it would be done in 15 minutes.
