Absolutely the BEST. These guys are wonderful. We had a transmission that was slowly dying. When it finally went totally out we called around to get an idea of cost, time, etc. I heard a lot of BS from a half dozen other places. Then I talked to Michael at M & B. Totally straight talk, no BS. Good advice all the way around. Put a factory remanufactured transmission in with a great warranty. Because it is GM factory remanufactured, the warranty is honored wherever and whenever we may need it. Took the vehicle in one morning and got it back the next afternoon! Truly awesome service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Absolutely Fantastic Service! My wife and kids were stranded in Birmingham, AL. The transmission when out while traveling to the downtown Sheraton on a Friday night. While I was over 270 miles back home I was imagining the worse case scenario. After taking care of the immediate need of getting my family safely to the Sheraton I searched the next day for a repair location and found M and B Transmissions. Tried contacting them on a Saturday morning when they were closed. Left a message and received a prompt call back from John (Great Guy). He ensured me he would get on the situation first thing Monday morning. He did just that. My car was picked up and moved to his garage and diagnosed Monday afternoon. The rest is history, the issue was quickly resolved to get me back on the road. A few bumps with the warranty company but John personally called and sorted things out.

On July 24, 2023 had clutch replaced on my 2016 Nissan Frontier 4x4. It has now been over 500 miles without issue. They were willing to work with me when others either didn't won't to do the job or just gave me a ridiculous quote on the work. Which I'll admit that replacing the Clutch a Nissan 4x4 is not easy.Their price was reasonable and fair.

Took my 03 Tahoe in to check a noise in the front end. Michael diagnosed my vehicle for free although he couldn’t find the exact problem. Anyway a week later I had a coolant leak and took my Tahoe in again. They had the problem diagnosed(water pump failure) and fixed within a couple of hours. Quality service for a fair price and great customer service. Would recommend

Big shout out to Mikel and his crew. Called Mikel and told him about my truck and ask him when would be a good time. I work out of this truck so when it's down so am I. I shared with him that some friends of mine were on vacation and I could use their truck but they would be back on Sunday. This was Tuesday and he said to bring it in Wednesday and he said he would try to look at it as he was going to be out of town Thursday and Friday. Got there about 9 and he was covered up so I didn't see anyway that he could get to me and I understood that. Around 2 I get a call from him and he had identified the problem and less than an hour later my truck was fixed and ready to go. That my friends is SERVICE. Something that seems to be lost with most businesses today but not this one. I will be highly recommending Mikel and his guys in the future. Thank you Mikel for the outstanding service.

M& B was introduced to me by a friend. My 2008 Chevy work van was doing some crazy stuff , brakes transmission, power steering . I just called a wrecker and my friend was with me and I said I don't know where to send it - he spoke up and said send it to Mikul and M&B Transmission in Avondale area behind the Water works Board . We looked it up and sent the wrecker on his way . This was a friday at 4:00pm so we talked to M&B on monday and they said they needed to tear into it more but some of the parts they needed were not readily available . So we had to wait for parts and one part we could not find and he was able to get it back to working and he fixed all three areas and I picked it up yesterday . Drove out great and the price was very reasonable considering the fact that it took a master mechanic to understand what was going on . This guy was young and smart and sober and a family guy. He has my business . gy

We were traveling back to WI from Gulf Shores and experienced car trouble the Saturday night before Easter. We found a hotel and first thing Monday morning I called Mike based on great google reviews. He checked out my vehicle right away and figured out the problem. Within an hour I was on my way. M&B transmissions are the most honest mechanics we have encountered in years. My 2019 Toyota Avalon had been serviced by 2 local Toyota dealers who have probably robbed us for years. We always ended up paying more than recommended service when we took our car in. After being told that our car needed a new transmission ($10000) or we could trade it in on a new vehicle, we had had enough. I told them my car had NEVER had any transmission slipping or missing until they did a flush that was recommended. M&B diagnosed my car and reset the computer codes and said they found nothing else wrong with the car. We have been driving the car for a week now with no trouble. And they charged NOTHING. That is honesty and we will be going to them for all your repairs from now on.
