We had a time crunch to get the hood and trunk painted on our son’s car before leaving for college. Vince and the crew @ Vacaville MAACO made it happen on time and did a great job color matching the rest of the car, also for a great price!

We had our small RV done there a few years ago for over $5k. I was reluctant to do a review as they were so nice. But the more I look at the paint job, the more I wish I had gone some place else. There were a number of birds eyes, poor paint coverage, no caulking removed, they just painted right over everything, including rubber sealing. But the worst was the pin striping. Look at the photos below. 2019-05-20 in answer to the response to my email below I have emailed the company and asked if they would be willing to redo the pin striping. So far it's been a month and I've gotten no reply. Again, they are very nice people and I don't wish them ill will, but they really need to work on quality control.

Took my vehicle to address peeling clear coat on hood, top and rear hatch. Had checked other local shops but was suggested to try Maaco because they would be more reasonable. Vince did the inspection and the actual paint had faded and would need to be repainted. He quoted me a price of under $1500 to paint the hood, top and rear hatch. It actually ended up being a little over $1400 plus he took care of the fading headlights and other areas. I waited a week before writing this review to make sure I had time to check all the details of the work. I'm very meticulous about my cars and I was not disappointed by any aspect of the work performed. Vince and the office staff are amazing plus they have a lot of sports jerseys, shoes and other items for sale at the shop. I've lived in Vacaville over 25 years and passed by this place many times thinking, I'd never take my cars there. I remember the $399 paint job from the 90's commercial and thought, they'll probably paint the emblems, trim and everything else. Not some place I'd consider doing any work for me. Totally misjudged and can't speak for any of the other Maaco's but the Vacaville shop will definitely get my business again if needed. Thanks

Horrible work they do at Maaco in Vacaville, I had to bring my car back several times, not sure how they’re still in business, Do not get your car worked there, it’s cheap and so is the service , the guys that do the work , do half ass work, they do the work fast just to get it done, it’s not quality work.

Maaco is a good value paint job. If you're restoring a vintage beauty, this is not the place for you. Keeping that in mind, I was getting a paint job on a 14 year old 4x4 pickup with a mismatched camper shell. I have no complaints, but I expected some drips here and there. I wasn't let down. I had to bring the truck back a couple times, once for a longer hair in the paint and some missed spots on the camper. The owner, Vince, was happy to redo the door (and front quarter panel) to fix the hair and the camper got touch up paint applied. I highly recommend calling ahead when you're expecting to pick up your vehicle. If it's not ready, they won't call you, which can lead to some major inconvenience and it wasn't ready on time for either the initial pick up time or the fix pick up time. All in all, I was happy for the job I got for the price I paid and I would recommend Vacaville Maaco for someone looking for a paint job on an older but not classic vehicle.

Over the several years I have been bringing my vehicles in I have always been very satisfied. If something doesn’t look just right, they will immediately make the necessary changes to complete to your liking. I had an RV which the trim had peeled making it look like an eye sore. After having it painted and taking it out on a camping trip. I had several people telling me nice looking and were did I have it painted. I would definitely recommend if you have large vehicles.
