I worked with Scott K for a few weeks and finally got to a point where it was a good time for me to come in. He was just as pleasant as he was on the phone, and he worked with me in getting me a price that was going to work with my budget. Beautiful showroom and a very cool staff made the experience as smooth as silk, and they were able to get me ready not too long after Sam J in finance was able to help me get the right policies and coverages that I needed to making it fit within my budget. Highly recommended dealer and I look forward to being able to work with them in the future!

Save yourself the time and buy elsewhere. The sales team will push hard the sell you their extended warranty. And when theres an issue and you file a legitimate claim on the warranty, they'll do anything not to honor it. To the extent of deliberately lying and making false claims. Would never purchase another bike from them again.

I recently started getting interested in some bikes walked in to this store and instantly was drawn to the 2025 KX112 With the help of one of the team members Wedrick he made a dream bike become mine he helped me look into all the information I needed to get the bike. I walked out with it and happy with the price and power and of course the looks of it. If you go in be sure to look for him he’s gonna help you out !

Disappointed with my experience at Malcolm Smith Motorsports. I came in ready to purchase a TTR 125 Big Wheel that was advertised online for $2,600, but when the paperwork came out, the out-the-door price was $4,300 — quite a jump. To be sure, I called Temecula Motorsports and they immediately quoted me $3,250 out the door. A sales rep at Malcolm Smith overheard the call and said they could “get close” to matching that price. We agreed verbally and even had a written note reflecting $3,300 out the door. However, when I was signing the final paperwork, I noticed the monthly payment didn’t match the agreed price. After pointing this out to the finance agent, the sales rep came back a few minutes later saying the deal was off — the same deal we had already shaken hands on. Overall, it was a frustrating experience that felt like a waste of my time and trust. Thankfully, Temecula Motorsports honored their over-the-phone quote with no games or surprises. Three hours wasted at Malcolm Smith. Thanks for nothing. 👍

I was first sent away on a scheduled appointment by mistake because of an unrelated recall. Very frustrating. To correct the confusion Rick reached out to me, picked up my bike and reduced the cost of the service. He had everything done in a timely manner and did his best to correct the lost time. Thanks Rick for being courteous and making sure my Ninja was handled with care.

I had an issue with my Suzuki Hayabusa recently where I lost complete power on the freeway. I called multiple shops (mom & pop shops and bigger corporations). One told me to take it to Malcolm Smith Motorsports because they are professionals with Suzuki. I was originally going to take it where I bought it from (Del Amo Motorsports Santa Ana), but they gave me a $200+ quote for just the diagnostic. Really, I should have bought my bike from Malcom. Shawn in the service department took real good care of me and did not charge a ridiculous price. I will definitely be going back to them for all my motorcycle needs. They fixed the issue and now I’m happy riding my motorcycle again. Thank you all at Malcolm Smith.

Hello to everyone who wants to buy a motorcycle or other equipment in this motorcycle dealership. Please visually inspect the motorcycle before you pick it up and pay. I did not do this because this was my first purchase of a new motorcycle. I went to this motorcycle dealership because I liked the low price compared to other motorcycle dealerships. It was a Yamaha Tenere 700. But during the signing of the papers, the price rose to the average market price. So you shouldn't chase a discount. After signing the papers, they said that they would give the motorcycle back in half an hour, they said that they would check everything and fill up gastank. They gave it back in three hours arguing that they were very busy. Then I understood why there was this discount when I started riding this motorcycle. After 400 miles, the rear brake lever began to get stuck halfway. When I started to disassemble the problem, I discovered that two bolts were missing in the subframe. Having disassembled the mechanism, I discovered that someone had already disassembled it and assembled it incorrectly. and perhaps when they assembled it, they forgot to screw those two bolts into the subframe. I fixed everything and put it back together. I called the motorcycle shop and explained the problem. They offered to solve the problem if I brought the bike to them. I refused because I live far from them and do not want to leave the bike there for a month. We agreed that they would send the bolts by mail. At 1500 miles I found that the rear pads were completely worn out but the brake disc looked like new with no wear. I think they installed used ones before selling the bike. I wonder what I will find in the future with this bike. Thanks Malcolm Smith for a bad experience buying a new bike. Good luck.

I bought a 2023 turbo RR canam from this company. The sales representative Joe was very helpful. Where I’m at a great disappointment is their service team and customer service. They have people working there that look like they’d rather be somewhere else. It takes days to get call backs with issues I’ve had. Employees walking away when they see customers waiting to be helped, what is this place ? A hang out place? Ive never been to a business where customers service comes with backhanded compliments and rude responses. The owner should do better in hiring well qualified professionals in their service department to actually fix things we pay good money to fix correctly. I’m not deleting this.

Recently bought a KLX300SM from here and was told my first service at 600 miles would be free. I went in and they charged me 185 for an oil change, said my valves didnt need to be checked. I called Eddie and he acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. So much for welcoming me to the family.

Updated: The service department is terrible! I waited over two months for an appointment. Ended up taking my Vespa to Moto Bello in Costa Mesa with phenomenal customer service. I highly recommend them! Don’t waste your time with Malcolm Smith Motorsports. Learn from my mistake! Store is impressively large with a good stock of fun. Took a bit to work out an agreed upon price for my Vespa, but we were very happy in the end. Wedrick was a great salesman! I didn’t feel pressured, and he was very well informed. Overall we’re happy with the experience and will absolutely bring the Vespa in for the needed services.

If I could give 2.5 starts I would. I'm only saying this because I was upset with their customer service and the way they make you feel. I cannot comment on their products or vehicles since I didn't not purchase any. But here is my reason why. My experience at Malcolm Smith Motorsports was frustrating and off-putting. From the moment my husband and I arrived, we didn’t feel like a priority. While we were walking around the store, we weren't greeted at all. We started in the clothing section, then moved to the parts department, but after telling them we weren't looking for parts, no one seemed interested in assisting us further. When we finally found the bike we were interested in, my husband stepped away to use the restroom, and during that time, I was completely ignored. I was already in front of the bike, mentally prepared to make a purchase, but no one approached me. This felt strange, especially since we had already done our homework, including getting a solid offer from a dealership in Bakersfield. We hoped that Malcolm Smith would try to work with us to match the price. When my husband returned, the first salesperson finally approached us. However, it was clear we weren’t their priority; it felt like they were more interested in catering to my husband (even though I was the one purchasing). We laid out exactly what we wanted: we were looking to get the bike out the door for $7,800, which was the price Bakersfield had offered. We weren't trying to haggle or waste anyone’s time. The salesman seemed fine, but it was the manager who really turned us off. He came across with a “we're not going to work with these people” attitude, trying to scare us by questioning whether Bakersfield's offer was even legitimate. He even claimed to have checked their stock, implying they didn’t have the bike we wanted. Instead of offering any potential flexibility or alternatives, it felt like he was trying to intimidate us into walking away. At that point, we decided we wouldn’t be coming back to Malcolm Smith. While they did manage to scare us a little, it only reinforced the idea that we’d rather spend our money at a place that values us as customers. We called the Bakersfield dealership, got the offer in writing, and set off to make the purchase. On the way, I also reached out to Mountain Motorsports in Ontario. Adam there was helpful and offered me a competitive deal, even acknowledging that Bakersfield had a great offer. Ultimately, though, we had already made up our minds, but I really appreciated the honesty and no-pressure attitude from Adam. In the end, we went with Fred Cummings Motorsports in Bakersfield, and I’m so glad we did. Oyuki was amazing to work with—no hassle, no pressure, just a straightforward deal. I got the bike at the price they promised, and though I added some extra gear, I felt completely satisfied with the entire experience. I cannot recommend Malcolm Smith Motorsports. If you're looking for a place that respects your time, gives you honest offers, and doesn't try to pressure you, I suggest checking out other dealerships like Fred Cummings or Mountain Motorsports.

Overall a pleasant experience. Would highly recommend Wedrick, who was perceptive of my needs as a new and unusually short rider. I didn't feel rushed at all when I visited over several days to sit on (what could potentially be considered an impolite) number of bikes, and I eventually settled on one I would not have considered if not for his input/experience. I'm not really qualified to comment on how their pricing compares to other places, but I will say that I appreciated that there didn't seem to be any unexpected or abnormally high extra fees. Would gladly buy from here again. Bonus: when I asked Wedrick for assistance with taking a quick picture of my bike with my phone (since he mentioned having done professional photography), he went above and beyond to provide several photos the following day, some of which I've attached to this review.

Went in to find out about tire service, most of what they do is dirt bikes, atvs, etc. Looking at helmets Cheyanne was all too helpful! I asked about a screw replacement kit for the visor on my BELL Lithium helmet and she was able to find some screws that fit in the parts department and less than a dollar later I was cruising safely again. Thanks Cheyanne and Malcom Smith!

A truly PERFECT BUYING EXPERIENCE buying my new bike from Malcolm Smith Motorsports. I have many bikes (8), an experienced rider and enthusiast, and have purchased and dealt with many, many local dealers. I have to say my experience with "Eddy" at Malcolm Smith was perfect. I knew what I wanted, they had the bike, and Eddy and his team made the transaction PERFECT. It was so nice dealing with Eddy and his team, they know bikes and pretty much most of their competition knew nothing about the bikes they sold - they were awesful and cheesy. But not the folks at Malcolm Smith - they were ALL PERFECT! Eddy and his team were pros! Picking up the bike was easy, paperwork, delivery, introdution to every department, all A++++. Eddy thoroughly went over my bike upon delivery, again a perfect experienc!!!! No surprises at signing time, honored our agreement to the penny - easy paperwork, they are pros. Looking for this bike and getting clear and transparent pricing from the other dealers was a nightmare, it really shouldn't be that hard, but Eddy and his entire team from Malcolm Smith Motorsports were PERFECT, A++++ .... I had to drive a little further to this dealership, but it was 110% more than worth it .... I just can't say how NICE, PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, EASY, and FRIENDLY EVERYONE was - thanks for a great buying experence, great pricing, and easy delivery. I have 8 bikes and this is a nice new Kawasaki "retro classic" 2026 W 230 ABS added to my colletion and love it. A++++++ buying expereince, 5 Star Dealer, thanks team!
