Steve the owner scammed me outta a $100. Came in to have my car looked at to find out what was wrong with the ac. i spent over an hour in his shop and he still couldn’t tell me what the problem was but proceeded to pump more freon into my car only for the freon to come out my ac line cause he over filled it.i ended up going to hutto automotive instead they were able to fix my ac but steve ended up messing up my car even more. They had to clean out my ac lines and re pump freon into my car because he over filled it which caused it to have really high pressure which made my price go up even more. Overall horrible business.

Steve and Kevin did some work on my boat that made the problem better but didn't quite fix it, I reached out and he told me to bring it back in and they would make adjustments and get me good to go. While they were making the adjustments they found that the power steering cable was going bad, and reccomended I replace it. No problem. The issue became that there are no power steering cables for my boat available right now due to Covid and a parts shortage. So when I call to tell them that I will just pick up my boat they tell me that they have already pulled the part (without a part to replace it) and that my boat is currently completely inoperable. Understanding the situation, I say "OK. What do you think is fair for your time to pull the part? $50?" This seemed fair to me since I had read the schematic and watched a tutorial on how to remove the cable, about a ten minute process for someone that knows what they're doing. Steve in response to this starts SCREAMING at me on the phone. He says "Why are you trying to treat me like a street n**ger? My time isn't worth anything to you? I'm just scum?" Needless to say I got off the phone immediately and just went and picked up my boat. I paid the $150 they said they were charging me for pulling the cable off, and I took the boat home. Once I finally got a cable for it, and without any mechanical experience at all, I installed it in my driveway in about half an hour. It was literally four bolts and a pin. These guys yelled at me, cursed at me, and WAY overcharged me for work. I wont be back. Disclaimer, Kevin, the mechanic, was very nice throughout the process, and made a point to apologize to me for Steve's behavior.

I can't tell you how fortunate I am to have found this place. Steve is amazing and is truly a master of his craft. I work on my cars most of the time, but when I run into the major issues, I sometimes have to take them to the professionals. Now Master Mechanics is the ONLY place I will be taking mine from now on. Steve has done work for me in the past on my previous truck and did a terrific job ,but this last time I made the mistake of trying a closer, major brand shop to avoid towing my van, and sunk hundreds of dollars in useless repairs. Should have just paid for the tow! I finally took it back to Stave at MM and was kicking myself for not taking it to him from the beginning. I'll never make that mistake again. He will actually diagnose the problem and find the best solution, as opposed to stacking up expensive repairs that MAY help. He'll shoot you straight and do everything he can to get you moving again at a good price...with out the BS. Thank you, Steve!!

Steve and Kevin are great guys along with being great mechanics. I told them I just needed my old 99 explorer to pass inspection and that's what they did. For 40 dollars. I'm not a mechanic. They could've named all kind of things that needed fixing for inspection but gave exactly what I asked for. It's harder and harder to find a car mechanic you can trust and these guys you can. 10/10 will be taking all of my vehicles here as long as um in Williamson county

My Chevy Cruze was over heating, and I seen it was leaking. I just moved here less then a month ago, and I had called around other mechanics, but the wait to get my car back were way to long!! I came across their number online being the closest to me and called. Steve advised me to bring it in, to take a look. As soon as I got there, Steve and his son noticed the issue! I even questioned about another issue I had!! I also told them I needed my car asap, all they told me they will try their best, but it would depend on the parts. Less than a hour, they called told me what they had to do and how much it would cost. Less then 24hrs I got the call that my car was ready!! When I went to get my car, Steve showed me all my old parts and explained what was happening and even was able to fix my other issue! He don’t do oil change but was able to do mine. I feel like he didn’t charge much for all the work they done!! I even sat there and had a good conversation with Steve!! They are good people and very honest!! I can say I’m very happy with the job they did! And from now on, I’m only going to them!! Can’t thank them enough! Oh!! And can’t forget about the pup!! He was also a great help 😊

Wonderful! Was in a jam and needed a quick repair so i could get back on the road to Dallas. Found Master Mechanics online. The experience was incredible. Kevin and his team saw that it wouldn't take long to fix, got me in quickly and got the repair done. Most shops i would have been waiting around for hours.
