I came in to get my brakes checked out and during the inspection they found some much larger issues with my shocks and subsequently my tires. Stephanie was amazing. She made sure I thoroughly understood the issues my car was facing, gave me suggestions on things to look into with my dealership, and when it was time to schedule my service at Mavis she was able to get me in same day and at a fantastic price. The service team got my car tuned up within a few hours and it’s handling perfectly now. Plus, the parts and labor come with warranties to help me out if any issues pop up in the future! I would recommend this location to anyone in the area.

Good experience with the Assistant manager Blake. The worker on the other hand. Carelessly did my front breaks and rotors. He scuffed three out of four of my rims. I just got the truck a month ago and never have I ever scuffed my rims. I leave at 4:40 to get home to realize that I am missing lug nuts on the passenger side back so I flew my butt right back up here and talked with Blake 8 minutes after closing time. Blake has been very reasonable and understanding with us. The worker that he called back up here has had nothing but an attitude. Won’t even apologize for his mess ups. And a small apology would have went a long way. Instead he has just slammed my doors because he’s mad he got called back into work. I have a side picture of him and pictures of my rims I’m going to post on here as well.

The East Main Street location in Spartanburg SC does excellent work. Stephanie was the manager on duty today when I arrived with a balancing issue with one of my tires on my truck. After Stephanie recommended a very common sense approach to identifying and resolving the problem, I was back on the road again in almost no time. I needed air. The electric vehicle I drive requires 42 psi in the tires. I was driving home and near my turn off was Mavis Tire & Brakes at 8271 Warren Abernathy Hwy in Spartanburg, SC. Outside the entrance to Mavis Tires & Brakes was a modern programable air pump. It was easily able to provide the pressure I needed and it was free. Feeling guilty for only requiring free air I walked in to the office and thanked the staff for the opportunity to "air up". They were very nice and C. J. invited me to come for air any time. I also learned that in addition to tires and brakes, Mavis Tire & Brakes does other routine maintenance like oil changes. These folks definitely made me feel welcome and want to bring them some "paid" business. Thank you C.J. and Mavis Tire & Brakes staff.

Mavis was wonderful to us! We were on the road traveling over Christmas break when our Pilot's shaking at 70mph became unbearable. We found them on Google with high rating (4.8) and we took a chance. They realize we were on vacation and worked us in immediately to see if they could do any thing quick for us even though they had several cars in bay. They recognized that the core problem was that the struts were shot and that putting new tires are rebalancing would not do anything to help us. They rotated the tires so that they would be a little more comfortable ride with instructions to get the struts replaced and possibly sway bars replaced before purchasing new tires and getting them aligned and balanced. They were so kind and understanding and they charged us nothing for their inspection! Amazing. I would recommend them highly!

Recently, I had a tire emergency the day after Thanksgiving and no one was opened except Mavis at 730 am. The guys and gals at the Mavis on the Eastside of Spartanburg, SC are amazing, eager to help, and very fair. Went in here and talked to Blake. I was coming in for an alignment before they started a deep inspection. They did inspect my car and determine that I need a new tire rods and new tires before they could really do the alignment due to the alignment not being able to hold if the tire rods are shaken as much as they were it was really nice and helpful for him to explain that to me before they did an alignment I paid for and would have to come back and get another one Soon. He also recommended a place for me to get used tires so I really appreciate Blake for that. they were super fast super nice people.

***Review update*** Unfortunately, I hit yet another pot hole in the beautiful city of Spartanburg. I had to return to Mavis & I received excellent customer service with a smile from Stephanie upon arrival. Corey, the technican completed the vehicle alignment very quickly and I was so pleased that he took it for a test drive. This staff at this location is truly excellent! 10/10 highly recommend The East Main St. location provided efficient & professional service. Stephanie at the front desk is wonderful! She always provides assistance that I need due to my disability by helping me to get in and out of my vehicle. I'm so grateful for her!
