I took a truck there years ago. A 1965 Chevy. Did good work fair prices. Want try to screw ya. Good folks. Might not be cheapest on the block. Small town feel. They are not racing to get your money and send you on your way.

Honest. Reliable. Quick. And easy! So happy to have this local auto repair shop so close to my home. They are honest from the beginning. They keep you informed during the process. Prices seem more than reasonable. Hours are convenient with early morning opening and late closings. Their convenient property/lot allows you to leave your car there after hours.

Andy was amazing! If you feel behind on your car maintenance (moving,work, etc) and something feels off with your car this is the place to go. Andy did a full inspection and talked with me about options- I told him I want to drive this car for another 100k miles and our goals aligned. He was meticulous and thorough. It wasn’t my usual “what’s wrong?” “Idk I think it’s the breaks” *look at breaks all 👍 ** (all the while my steering and wheels are the problem and no one checked) My car feels like a new car driving ouT. I felt as if I was treated like family. Highly highly recommend!

My daughter brought her car to have spark plugs replaced… just over $1300.00 later for plugs and they added stuff that was not needed for vehicle to be in use just “suggested “when asked why is the bill so high? “ well…, she never asked how much it would cost..” Absolutely Shameful for a neighborhood auto repair shop to take advantage of someone!!! Gross

Worst service ever. I work at a Dealership and if we did the things done to my daughter, we would not have customers. Charged her almost double labor because she bought the part from a dealership and brought it to them. Then when the repairs were done, she had another concern, directly related to the repair they performed and wanted to charge her more to check it. Having it towed 100 miles to bring to our dealership group to check the new concern and repair it. STAY FAR AWAY. They also charged more per flat rate hour than any dealership in Charleston

I went to them for a replacement of a brake booster and master cylinder. They kept my vehicle for almost 2 weeks, were incredibly rude over the phone when I’d call for an update, and even hung up on me before I could say another word. Ended up handing me a bill for $1966.00. 14 months later both of those “brand new” parts failed, and I had to have Gerald’s replace them yet again. Gerald’s got the job done reliably in just a few hours and only charged me $1400, AND they threw in new pads and rotors. Stay away from the rude shady crooks at McCaskill’s!!! They’re clearly using off brand parts or getting them from a salvage yard while charging customers for supposedly new parts.

I had been putting off an oil change for a little longer than I should have, as you do sometimes because car maintenance can be a pain. I called Mc Caskill's today to see how much it would cost, and how far out I would need to schedule an appt. Over the phone, they were very friendly, the price was reasonable, and they said they could fit me in same day! Richard and his crew were friendly and informative. They had me in and out in no time, and the car runs better than it has in months. During the brief time I was in the shop, 2 separate customers came in to pick up their vehicles, and both made a point to tell me "these are good guys". After my experience today, I would agree. These are good guys! I will be better about my routine maintenance in the future knowing I can bring my car here:) Thanks!

Took my van to Gerald's tires and brakes for a alignment. They put it on the alignment machine twice and said I was aligned. My steering wheel was crooked while driving straight, and my van was pulling to the right. I brought it to mckaskills auto and Richard and his crew replaced a caster bushing and fixed my van the right way. Save yourself trouble and go to mckaskills the first time. They are honest, and do good work.

Stopped in for an oil change and a check on a change in the sound of my engine. These guys were quick to take care of my oil change and diagnose a water pump/bearing issue. Scheduled that repair for the next day and had me rolling within 48 hours before a trip to the mountains. Absolutely great customer service, knowledgeable, communicative, and excellent work. Also, local family owned business that knows what they are doing. They have earned a repeat customer for sure. Thanks guys!
