I had originally written a review for this company, but it has been taken down. This is a terrible place to get a vehicle repaired. We had a 2014 Nissan maxima repaired here about 5 years ago. A truck backed into the front of the car, damage was minimal. The repair that McAbee did was absolutely ridiculous. Instead of replacing a piece of plastic they put a fiberglass patch on the back and used body filler. Had a 2015 Silverado in shortly after with damage from hitting a deer. McAbees under bid the job so they could take the repair. When I got the truck back there was another 2000 in repairs that needed fixed, that would have totaled the truck. Instead I received a truck that was not repaired well, had airbags deployed and a bent frame. THIS DOES NOT LOOK GOOD ON CARFAX. I would have gladly taken a check for the totalled out truck and bought another. Instead I had to take a big loss to trade it in. They don't offer much for vehicles with airbag deployment and a bent frame. It was all on CARFAX. In short I will never use this shop again.

Cant realy talk much on the work they do because my truck isn't done yet. They seem to be good and frindly people but they are backed up. They got my truck on like the 20th of june for some damage on the passager front not terrible but needed fixed was told at first they were planing to have it buy the 18th of july now its the 24th and they are saying another day. Im not totally un happy i just wish i had known it was going to take longer then a month to get it done so i didn't miss seeing family and possibly a funeral for a family member.

McAbee Carstar is the only place in Topeka I would take my vehicle to get body repairs done. They are very helpful and the whole process felt smooth and no issues. They helped with advice on the rental options on drop off and kept me informed during the process of repair. They were quick and it looks great. I honestly didnt realize they also detail/clean cars when the repair is complete. I went to pick up my truck and they completely cleaned the inside. That was a nice touch I wasnt expecting and made me feel like they really cared about my truck. Thank you guys, you all rock!

We are very thankful for McAbee's. After our son was recently involved in an accident, his truck was towed to their facility. Kory, the manager, along with the entire team, was calm, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the process. Kory even said, "We don't want to add stress to your situation." The truck was totaled, so McAbbe's didn't end up fixing our son's truck, but they offered names for local salvage yards. We definitely recommend McAbee's.

These guys went above and beyond. Insurance was a nightmare but they were able to make it easy for us. They dropped us off to pick up our rental then picked us up when our car was ready. They had our car repaired quickly and kept us updated as they progressed. They even detailed our vehicle inside and out, leaving it spotless outside and clean smelling inside. Excellent work! I only had a little fender bender, but the front bumper was hanging all the way to the ground One Headlight was a jar and the hood wasn't lining up quite right. McAbees fixed it like new again. Said it would be done in 3 days but they found a little more damage underneath and said it would take two more. But they did it in only 4 days. Excellent work and very courteous people. And to top all that off they clean the outside and the inside. Just loved it. I highly recommend McAbees very professional people.
