I was not particularly happy with my experience. As far as tires go they may be great. I took my teenagers car In because of a hard start issue. But the car ran great after starting, which they aware of at the time. I would not let my teenager drive a car that was unreliable. That is why we brought it to them for diagnostic tests. After 14 days they were able to get the starting issue resolved. But now the car runs so poorly that I am not comfortable to let the teenager drive it. They actually put it on paper that the car runs poorly, even though it was fine before that and never said it was an issue. Never ever again will we use them. I never once heard from the mechanic. My only contact was Brooke.

Took my truck in for an oil change,tune up new belt and new tires new tires. Got the truck back and im usuallly very happy with this shop but not this time. They replaced the spark plugs for a total of 350. They never changed the spark plug wires which is part of the tune up. I. Called and complained and they told me to bring it back in and they'll change the wires for an additional cost. This is why people have such a difficult time trusting repair facilities.

Best one tire in New Haven were very excellent with the service I experienced. I had a flat tire on Wednesday morning and before noon they had fixed it and it was ready to be picked up. These guys went above and beyond to fix a problem tire I bought myself for my industrial mower, I tried to change it myself but failed, but they perceived and managed to get a egg shaped tire on a dodgy rim, most companies would have told me to go away, but Brent and crew tried every trick in the book and came through. I called before going to this shop, I went in for a DOT inspection, I came in at 1:40pm and left by 3:54pm. This place is great at communication, pricing and turnaround times. I left with a new set of rear brakes and my DOT inspection was complete. I had other places tell me to leave my truck for 5 hours or to keep it overnight to do rear brakes soooooooooo in conclusion....... THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!

I scheduled an appointment online and dropped my car off overnight. Was called the morning of my appointment and said they were getting the car in to have the work done. After about 1 pm I hadn’t heard from anyone so I responded to the text message I received asking for an update. No reply. Called them at 3:20 pm and was told that they didn’t show my car on the schedule to be worked on. They finally got it in and done but I was told my the fill in store manager that the online scheduled appointment only goes to the assigned store manager and not to him so he didn’t know about it, however I had told him that the guy I spoke with on them phone knew about my car being in there but never relayed the message to the fill in manager so a whole lot of miscommunication. Not real happy. Plus my Firestone credit card would not work there even after I was told it would.

EDIT: I went to Marlene’s location on Coldwater Road, just south of Coliseum Blvd. Marlene was able to get everything handled. Wherever Marlene is, is the location to take your vehicle. Thank you greatly Marlene, I can’t thank you enough for your awesome service! I came in the morning of 1/23/2026 for a control arm replacement with a scheduled alignment afterward. My appointment time was 9:30 AM, but the vehicle was not brought into service until 12:59 PM. Prior to this service, my steering wheel was straight. After the alignment, I was told that “it can’t be made straight,” but no mechanical reason was provided. Typically, a condition like this would be caused by a bent or damaged steering component, such as a tie rod, yet no such issue was mentioned or shown to me. I documented the condition of the steering wheel before arriving. The first photo was taken at 8:47 AM on 1/23/2026 and shows the wheel centered. The second photo was taken at 4:49 PM the same day and shows the wheel off-center after your service. Both photos are included below. I also have a video from my arranged vehicle pickup party, about 2 weeks prior to this service, that my steering wheel was straight and will provide video upon acknowledgment. After picking up the vehicle, I took it to another shop at approximately 5:30 PM to have the claim that the steering wheel “could not be straightened” evaluated. That shop stated that a steering wheel not being centered after an alignment is typically the result of improper workmanship, and specifically described it as a matter of not completing the alignment correctly. I was also charged for a 4 wheel alignment and only received alignment work on the front two wheels. I have always trusted McMahons with my vehicle, especially given the stereo equipment installed in it, and I have had plenty of positive experiences in the past. However, this service has significantly impacted that trust. I am requesting that this issue be reviewed and corrected and a refund issued. Thank you have a good day, I hope this can be corrected.
