Recently I visited Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center (8-4-25) for problems with what turned out to be a blend door actuator under my dash. Their shop was packed full of vehicles at the time of my appointment, which unfortunately, I had even arrived late for. Tim, who was in the front reception area, greeted me with a smile and we started to address the issue along with another concern. Aaron, one of the mechanics, who was extremely busy, popped into the office and the three of us discussed possible causes. In many cases, being a woman going into a car repair shop alone can be a bit daunting, especially if they view you as an easy target for a "costly repair". However, there was never a feeling of being ill at ease and both Tim & Aaron were kind, professional and forthcoming about any costs involved and the time it would take to repair it. Aaron performed a thorough inspection and I was given a 3-page estimate for other issues that may require attention as well and at no extra cost. In addition, though the appointment had run very close to the end of their day, once the issue was identified, Tim was able to contact a parts dealer and had them rush over the part to repair the car. Aaron was not only able to repair it, but did so effectively and in record time, which essentially lowered my bill substantially from the original estimate! These guys are AMAZING!! If I could give them 10 STARS I would! I would 100% recommend them as trusting advisors for your car repairs. They are knowledgeable, professional and most of all kind. Had a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation. Only reason I came here. Said they rotated my tires and didn’t. Waste of time and money. Double check all your paperwork bc you cant trust people to do the job they were paid to do.

We've been going to Tuffy for years. It's always a great experience. They take care of their customers and their prices are affordable. The manager Tim is super friendly and great . Over the years of dealing with Tim and his staff, my husband and I have become very friendly with Tim and his staff. We wouldn't go anywhere else, Tuffy Tire on Jefferson has become family. No one looks forward to going to get their car worked on but this staff has made it a pleasure and I actually enjoy going there and seeing them.

I have been to Tuffy several times. They do outstanding work that is backed up with warranties. They are extremely honest. Once they gave me a quote but called back later to tell me they had made an error and the quote turned out to be much less. They are very nice people to work with. I will always take my car there and I cannot recommend them enough! They are great! There was an issue that needed resolution and it was done on the same day quickly and courteously. Always good service.

Super thankful for the Tuffy crew. I had an oil change scheduled but ended up needing new tires asap before I moved states and they got me in the very next day. Super friendly, especially if you have to wait inside the office, they make good conversation to pass the time. Especially Tim, he explains the break downs well, no none sense type of explanations. They gave me a discount for being a nurse as well which was really nice.

Had interlock device removed, mind you they were the ones that put it on, and now I am having a starter problem The car will not start, but there was no problem starting it before they removed their device. I would never give them the opportunity to repair it. I will take it elsewhere.

I called around 1130, they had me in and done within minutes of arriving around 1245, didnt even set up an appointment, i called and asked if they could help. I booked an appointment at this Tuffy’s location a week in advance for an oil change and a tire rotation, and I clearly noted in the comments that I also wanted a quote for a brake pad replacement because I was shopping around. I received multiple reminders about my appointment, so I assumed everything was confirmed. When I arrived on time, the woman at the front desk was friendly and provided the brake quote. I asked whether the quote was valid for 30 days, since I was comparing prices and this was my first estimate outside of the dealership. Instead of answering that, she told me that if I wasn’t going to proceed with an additional service, they “don’t do just oil changes on Saturdays.” This policy is nowhere stated online, and the booking system allowed me to schedule a Saturday appointment without issue. She even offered me a weekday slot instead, but I work during the week — which is exactly why I scheduled for Saturday in the first place. When I pointed that out, she said she didn’t know what the website says. Then it somehow got worse: according to her, an oil change and a tire rotation count as the same service at Tuffy’s. I have no idea in what world a tire rotation isn’t a separate service, but apparently at this location it doesn’t count — meaning they still wouldn’t honor the appointment despite me booking two services. Ultimately, I received no service at all, even though I followed all their reminders, showed up on time, and scheduled based on the information they provided. It was a complete waste of my time and a very poor customer experience. Not customer-friendly, not transparent, and definitely not somewhere I’d rely on again.

I am leaving 1 star for MOLLY. 5 stars for the techs! This is my second encounter with Molly and this shop. The first time I opted on NOT taking my car here because of molly and the prior tech guy person. This time I came to this tuffy for Austin and Rob.. Molly was extremely rude to me, continuously telling me theyre just techs and not to listen to them.. I followed them over from coldwater to west Jefferson because I trust their work and they have been taking care of my vehicle since my first encounter with Molly. Molly made it very known that she only cares about money and not her customers. I almost left and took my buisness elsewhere because of Molly's attitude. She was rude and tried to over explain why she was being a b. I take my vehicle to my trusted mechanics.. but Molly will make it so I will not return. (I have spent thousands of dollars between my warranty and myself) Thanks Molly for ruining my day!
