NOTE: my repair is not yet done, but I'll post updates when it's completed. I needed an auto body/collision shop that would work with salvage and aftermarket parts as my vehicle that was damaged is over 20 years old. Confirmed with Cheryl, the office manager over the phone. Met her, Mel, and Heather in person for the estimate. I found the estimate quote was very reasonable, based on my experiences. Heather let me know it would be about a week for the part to arrive, which I also thought reasonable. But in the meantime, as damage was mainly to the driver side taillight, I was pleasantly surprised that they found a replacement for the bulb that had been smashed out. That visit was last Monday (as of this posting) and the vehicle operates fine, so I'm not bothered by waiting a few more days or so. It's better for me right now than going to U-Pull in Yakima to source parts on my own-- but I might do so when family matters brjng me back there. As Mel's strikes me as a friendly mom & pop business that has already been quite cordial to my family, I expect to do business with them in the future.

Several years ago I had Mel’s do an alignment on my 2019 Mazda Miata after I did a suspension upgrade. Excellent work and car driving performance was amazing. I learned about this facility when I asked my tire store for a reference. They said this is the place that they recommend. Today I brought my 2019 Ford Ranger for an alignment. The steering wheel was off center. Another great job by Mel’s. Truck drove like new and steering wheel center alignment was perfect. I’m a bit OCD on mechanical issues and they meet my standard. And they are super nice people ! Highly give this company my recommendation.
