Came to Mexicali tires regardless of previous reviews I read hoping that I may be the lucky few that receive great service however upon arriving I informed the guy working (which he was only one working on a Saturday afternoon) I needed a used tire for emergency use as mine just went flat an hour ago, he acknowledged with “okay” but 25 min passed while I watched him work on a truck and there was still one person ahead of me. At this point I was just hoping the guy would let me know he at least had one my size so I wasn’t waiting to find it he didn’t. I ended up leaving and headed to Tony’s down the street.

The owner picked up the phone right away. He had the tires I needed and confirmed he could dismount my old tires and remount the new ones. I get there around 6:30pm and he has a few customers he is helping, he instructs me to park the trailer (which had the bad tire) so his air tools could reach. Between working on the other cars, he managed to change out the tires very quickly. The tires have great tread and the service was excellent. Definitely would recommend. (He even stayed open late to make sure we got both tires changed)

Best experience I’ve ever had at a tire store. He stayed open late to help me replace two trailer tires with used tires that were in fantastic shape. Our trip was saved! I live about 40 minutes from here and will absolutely be returning to replace all of my trailer tires when we get back. The lot is clean, feels safe, and has plenty of room to pull a large truck and trailer through. There is a huge selection of both new and used tires here.

I went to a major chain tire shop and the best price they could offer was $140 for an off brand tire and almost $200 for a name brand. That was for the tire only and they didn't have it in stock and it would take 2 days to get it in. I went to Mexicali tires and not only did they have on in stock, but they took the balloon tire off and put the new tire on. I was in and out within 10-15 minutes. They even put the balloon tire back in place and correctly attached the sensor to it without me saying anything to them. The total cost on the Tire was $100.00. this was totally unexpected. I went out Saturday morning. I ran a couple of errands and my tire pressure light came on. I stopped and filled it up and by the time I got home it was already almost flat you could hear the air leaking out. I had a party to attend that evening that could not my be missed. They took great care of me and next time I need a tire I'll shop them first.

Do not go here you will be told one price before any work and then given a 3x up charge when it all done. Making you feel like you trying to rob them. Also there is no set price for anything it all depends on how much they like you or if they find you attractive. And they do not like most people. I use to go here alot but it seems like its under new ownership cause no where the level of service that it use to be. Again stay away go to TONYS TIRES right down the street 2 blocks away way across from big 5 better service plus a nicer shaded place for you to wait while your car is being worked on. Again stay away from here go to TONYS TIRES you won't regret it unless you don't listen stay away. This message is from REDWOLF Mobile Mechanic service if your a customer of mine I suggest you avoid this place and go down to TONY'S TIRES

Cash only to take my vehicle, then wanted to use a plug, instead of a proper dismount and patch and requested extra money to do it right. They are the last shop opened at 6pm but terrible service.

I was charged $150 to mount 2 loose (off the trailer) 14" trailer tires. $75 to dismount and mount the tires and $75 for 2 new valve stems. My fault for not asking before having the work done but still ridiculous.

This place was absolute trash. Needed a simple patch on my tire and brought my car here after being sent here by Just Tires on Erringer. 2 Days after the patch, the tire started leaking again and I come to find out after going somewhere else that the tire has been damaged by a bad patch job and can't be repaired. So now I'm having to buy a new tire all together. This place literally cost me hundreds more for a simple patch. Even a refund won't begin pay for the damage. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Somebody should honestly close them down. Their work is putting dangerous cars on the road.

Came in the day before and Carlos said 4 tires, here, 300. I said I'll be back tomorrow. Thinking 75 each, wow they must be new! Came back the next day they have me pull in and immediately kid starts removing tires. I follow Carlos in and say I have questions. What brand? Firestone, used, great price! I said well let me do some research first, I find the same tires online for cheaper. I say, how can I save money? He says that's the price. You pay cash? I said sure if there's a discount. He ushers me to a woman who just writes down the price 3 times on a sketch pad as I explain that they are cheaper online and I'd like a deal to do business with them. I'll even rotate and balance at America's tires for free. No, no, no 300! I say to her, before I even confirmed that I wanted these you're already trying to get me to pay, you might as well stop. What? Stop? No you pay 300! I'm like Jesus lady I don't want the tires. They then tell me we aren't putting the tires back on your car unless you pay us 25 dollars. Turning their back to me and waving their hand at me. So now I'm being blackmailed when all that's happened is 2 tires came off. Rushed to make a decision and firewalled for asking questions for what? I never even agreed to a tire or a price. It's not my fault that you want to extort money for things. I tell them I'll have to call the cops then. After waiting an hour for them to work on 2 other customers and a "broken" power tool I finally get my tires back. They pay 15 dollars a tire from other stores for used tires, so think about the price before you agree to deal with scammers.

Buyer beware, this place is a scam! I went there because I needed to install a set of used tires that I brought in my car. The bigger shops have policy against installing used tires. The place was closed when I got there a little after 10. I called the number and he answered and told me he would be there by 11. I told him I would come back at 11. When he got to the shop, he started working on installing my tires. I admittedly did not ask about the cost because frankly, I wouldn’t mind paying a little extra to a mom and pop shop. Two other customers dropped by while he was working in my car and he stopped working on my car and serviced them before going back to my car. When it was close for the job to be done, his wife came to me and asked if I was paying by cash or card. When I told her by card, she said they can’t take cards and I needed to go to the 7-Eleven ATM across the street and get cash. I agreed and asked her how much. She told me $200!!! $50 per tire to get dismounted/mounted/balanced. She was very rude and started mocking me when I objected to the outrageous price. She said the wheels were special and require extra time to work with. There is absolutely nothing special about my wheel or the tires. When I asked for a receipt for my cash, she got even more belligerent and told me to pay $20 for tire disposal. When I told her I would take the old tire back with me, she refused to give me my receipt. I had to threaten to call the police to get my receipt. I you are going to use this shop regardless of the stern warning, make sure you agree on exactly what they’re going to charge you.

Wasn't going to post this, but went in today and the guy wanted 400 dollars for 4 used tires from 2015. Ten year old tires for 400, that's crazy. Don't bother. Go to Tony's tires up the road, better pricing and service.

They sell bad tires. Charged $70 cash only for a used tire that went flat within hours of being installed. Do not go here unless you want pay to replace two tires instead one.

Old fashioned no attitude no upsell no talk… I pulled up. They removed the wheel and water tested the tire and found the nail. Yanked it and patched it. $30..! Saved me $650 and I was in and out in 17 minutes. 👊🏼

I brought 4 new tires for him to install. Normally they charge $25 a tire. After he was working on the second tire he said it’s $50 a tire because 20 inch rims are hard….. I said stop. Paid for the two tires and drove over to Tony’s tires. Tony’s tires started my truck right away, $25 a tire and we’re done in ten minutes for the two tires. Don not use Mexicali tires. Very expensive. I have heard they sell bad tires as well.

Worst experience ever . Came to fix a flat tire he said I needed a new one 120,two days later same tire was flat brought it back he said I need a rim charge me 40 dollars. Brought it back cause my sensor marked that tire .he said it was my sensor sold it for 50 bucks. Took it to Jim's tires they said that sensor they put is no good. Came back to mexicali tires 😑 🙄 They said they put a whole different thing. No accountability whatsoever.
